HP: I beat the otome game at Hogwarts
Chapter 5 Platinum Father and Son
When Draco Malfoy came to his senses, he found that his father had a bruise around his eye, and the old Weasley across from him had a cut on his lip. The two were separated by the suddenly appearing half-giant Hagrid.
Draco Malfoy had no liking for poor, pure-blood scum and stupid, lowly giants, including Muggles, of course. But when he didn't find Lyra White near the two Weasley red monkeys, he breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that even the Muggle knew to stay away from the degenerate, penniless Weasley...
This small sense of satisfaction, which he himself hadn't even realized, shattered not long after he and his father left the bookstore—Lyra White was walking along, licking her ice cream, heading towards Flourish and Blotts.
The girl with black hair and gray eyes was wearing a light green dress with white tassels today, and the pearl earrings she wore matched the dress perfectly. She looked as fresh as morning dew... But the dress was longer than knee-length! Her slender, straight legs were exposed, and all the boys who passed by were turning their heads to steal a look!
Merlin's beard! Muggle people really lack basic witch etiquette and decorum!
“Even a Muggle should know that in the wizarding world she should dress like a respectable and well-mannered witch!” Draco completely forgot about his father walking ahead and blurted out the sarcastic admonition, “A robe that goes past the ankles is more suitable for a well-mannered young lady!”
What outdated and corrupt ideas of a rigid male wizard!
"Beep—A romanceable character has been detected nearby. Confirm romance?"
As Leila silently complained to herself, the system popped up another notification.
"Are you talking to me?" Lyra stopped and turned her head slightly to ask Draco Malfoy, who was passing by.
"Hmph, is there another scantily clad Muggle witch here?"
Lyra looked at the young boy across from her, who had slicked back his hair with hair oil and styled it into an old-fashioned slicked-back look. Clearly, their aesthetic sense and self-discipline were from different eras.
Using hair oil at such a young age can easily clog hair follicles, leading to hair loss over time. Plus, a slicked-back hairstyle can cause the hairline to recede rapidly. Besides, this is Britain, a region known for its fish and chips and middle-aged balding gentlemen…
Thinking of this, Lyra felt a pang of pity for the blond boy who was completely unaware of his future premature baldness, especially since he had a head of moon-like platinum blonde hair. Lyra couldn't bring herself to be angry at his offense—after all, with normal compassion, who would be angry at a stern, pitiful boy destined to go bald young?
"Okay, thanks for the suggestion, I'll consider it." Leila nodded perfunctorily, but her next words were more sincere, "Have you considered changing your hairstyle? A slicked-back, pomade-up look might not suit you..."
“…?” Draco Malfoy hadn’t expected this response.
"Draco! What are you doing? Hurry up and catch up!"
A deep, resonant voice, like that of a cello, forced Draco Malfoy to leave.
When Mr. Malfoy turned around to urge his son, he saw Draco talking to a beautiful girl with black hair and gray eyes—black hair, distinctive smoky gray eyes, stunning beauty, and a familiar air of nonchalance that reminded him of a very ancient surname… Mr. Malfoy narrowed his eyes, his gaze complex and unreadable.
Lyra also noticed a mature male wizard with the same platinum blonde hair ahead of her, handsome and with an extraordinary air.
"Chief, I didn't expect the romance options you provided this time to be of such high quality. Excellent, five stars. I need all his information within one minute~"
"Players are advised to maintain good morals, refrain from breaking up other people's families, and refrain from making advances toward the father of a potential romance target."
"Oh, what a pity, all the good men are already taken." Leila expressed her regret and decided to postpone her pursuit.
"Why did you refuse again? You've been slacking off for two months! This potential love interest has a very high overall rating!" the system screamed in Leila's mind.
"Oh, he's still a little boy. Let's wait until the flower bud grows a bit more, then you can remind me to confirm the strategy." Lyra quickly responded under the system's sonic attack.
"Ding—System notification: The player's promise will be recorded by the system. Please do not break your promise."
"...Okay." Lyra replied, watching the Platinum father and son hurriedly leave.

After returning to the Burrow from Diagon Alley, the days flew by. Before I knew it, summer vacation was over.
On the last night before school started, Mrs. Weasley put on a lavish feast, with the honey pudding dessert being particularly delicious. Everyone ate too much, including Lyra, and afterwards they all lazily sat on the sofa chatting and digesting.
Fred and George adapted British and French fireworks to create a spectacular display, filling the room with vibrant, colorful sparklers—it was absolutely beautiful. Finally, a cup of rich, hot cocoa before bed brought the joyful evening to a close, and everyone went to sleep contentedly.
The next morning, as soon as the rooster crowed in the yard, Mrs. Weasley dragged everyone out of bed. Everyone was still sleepy and hadn't even finished changing before being rushed to breakfast. Mrs. Weasley ran around the room looking for spare socks and other odds and ends, and the fact that everyone needed her attention made her extremely irritated.
Fortunately, Mrs. Weasley didn't notice Mr. Weasley's little trick with the car—nine people, seven suitcases, plus the pet owl and mouse, could all sit comfortably in a small sedan. Clearly, the car was under a spell.
After the chaos, they set off, but before they even left the yard, George said he'd forgotten something. Then it was Fred's turn, then Ginny's—after these delays, it was already quite late, and the atmosphere in the car was increasingly tense; it was like they'd gotten up early but arrived late.
During this time, Mr. Weasley also tried to persuade Mrs. Weasley to drive the car above the clouds and fly to Kingdom Cross Station, but unsurprisingly, he was opposed.
Finally, everyone arrived at the station on time and hurriedly squeezed through the wall to platform 9 4/3. First came Percy, then the twins and Mr. Weasley, followed by Ginny and Mrs. Weasley. Ron and Harry were the last to squeeze through the wall—Lyla, having changed into new shoes that morning, had her heels a little sore and was at the very back.
Two boys pushed a luggage cart towards the wall, with Lyra following closely behind, pushing her own luggage, and then—
state!
Ron and Harry failed to get through the wall; they crashed heavily to the ground along with the box, their groans mingling with the hooting of an owl. Lyra, behind them, fared no better, bumping into Ron and painfully scraping her ribs.
But the three of them couldn't care less about the pain at that moment, because the sound of the station clock chiming had already reached their ears.
Ding-dong! At exactly 11 o'clock, the Hogwarts Express departed.
