Struggling to survive at Hogwarts

Chapter 92 Luna Lovegood

After tidying everything up, Thea instructed Daphne to keep an eye on the dormitory. In case of any emergency, Daphne could notify Thea via her bracelet.

In addition, Thea brought a large amount of hemostatic medicine. Thanks to Draco and Theodore, the two handed over all the medicines they had successfully brewed for Thea's mission.

However, Thea did not tell the others the specific reason, only saying that she needed hemostatic medicine.

The group were all intelligent people. Even though Thea had only mentioned it vaguely, they guessed her plan and wisely refrained from asking further questions.

Even Draco suppressed his curiosity and didn't insist on going along.

They were not dissatisfied with Thea's concealment; on the contrary, they were excited by Thea's revelation!

Finally, after all their hard work, Thea finally recognized her abilities and decided to promote them to the rank of confidantes!

The Chamber of Secrets! What Slytherin could resist such a temptation?

The excited and expectant looks from everyone amused Thea. "If I have the chance, I'll go in with you all someday."

After all, that place hasn't been cleaned for hundreds of years!

Thea smiled as she watched the children's excited expressions. They were still just kids, not understanding the principle that there are gains and losses.

It was lunchtime, and most of the young wizards were in the hall. Thea easily made her way to the abandoned washroom on the second floor of the castle.

To Thea's surprise, the ghost Myrtle wasn't in the washroom, but there was a small, thin figure by the sink.

A Ravenclaw.

Hearing footsteps behind her, the girl slowly turned around.

Thea also took the opportunity to get a clear look at the girl's appearance: her dirty golden hair was casually draped down, her face was extremely pale, but with her light gray eyes and light-colored eyebrows, she looked exceptionally ethereal.

Besides that, the girl clearly exuded a kind of crazy and eccentric energy.

"Hello, Miss Lovegood." Thea immediately recognized the other person and greeted her politely.

But Luna didn't greet Thea; instead, she stared intently at Thea.

After a long pause, the girl finally spoke her first words in a singing tone: "You seem to be harassed by a harasser."

Thea knew what "harassing wolves" were, so she gently asked in return, "Then do you know how to get rid of them?"

Luna seemed somewhat surprised: "You can see them too?"

As she spoke, she patted the air around Thea, as if she were helping Thea get rid of the nuisance next to her.

Thea was about to say something when she noticed something blocking the girl's back. Thea went closer and saw—a textbook that was soaked!

Thea instantly understood why Luna hadn't gone to lunch and was instead spending her time alone in the abandoned washroom.

"Restored to its original state!"

A spell shot out from Thea's cedarwood wand and landed precisely on the soaking wet book.

In an instant, the book was restored to its original state.

"Miss Lovegood, how many times has this happened?"

“…Well…I guess they want to play a game of hide-and-seek with me.” The girl still spoke in a singing tone, “Actually, some people call me ‘Crazy Girl’ Lovegood.”

Thea looked at the girl's unusual attire and her crazy, eccentric demeanor, and a part of her heart seemed to soften.

Luna is an only child. Her father, Mr. Lovegood, is the editor of the wizarding world's Quixote. Even though there is a Daily Prophet above him, the Quixote's audience should not be underestimated.

After Luna's mother passed away, her father showered all his love on his daughter. It's easy to imagine that her affluent family background and elfin beauty became reasons for others to be envious of her.

As a result, Luna's unconventional attire and eccentric behavior became points of attack for others.

"I'm sorry, Miss Lovegood, please forgive me for only now discovering that such a terrible case of bullying has occurred at Hogwarts." Thea's eyes were full of guilt, and her tone was so gentle it could melt hearts.

Luna didn't respond to Thea, but instead pointed to Thea's wand that she hadn't put away and said, "It's unhappy!"

"Wh...what?" Thea was a little confused.

“I said, your wand doesn’t look too happy,” Luna said cheerfully.

Thea did not ignore Luna's words. She raised her wand and kissed the shaft of the wand with utmost reverence.

"Sorry, I ignored you."

"Miss Lovegood, is it happy now?"

"...It's a little shy."

Thea couldn't help but chuckle when she heard Luna's answer.

Realizing she had something important to do, Thea waved her wand, and a blank sheet of paper appeared. Thea waved her wand again, and words appeared on the paper.

Thea then handed the paper to Luna and said earnestly, "Miss Lovegood, could you please pass this paper to Miss Greengrass of Slytherin for me?"

Thea didn't explain the bullying to Luna, nor did she instruct Luna on what to do next. Instead, she chose to clear away the "harassment" for Luna, just as she had done for herself.

Luna took the paper and book in a daze, then drifted away from the washroom.

Seeing that no one was around, Thea immediately used a detection spell. This was a spell she found in the Malfoy Library that could detect people in the environment and transmit the information to Thea through magical fluctuations.

"Hiss...hiss...hiss" (Open)

Suddenly, a dazzling white light emanated from one of the dragon heads, and it began to spin rapidly.

Then, the entire pool began to move, slowly disappearing from sight and revealing a very thick water pipe, large enough for a person to crawl inside.

Without hesitation, Thea checked her knee and wrist guards again before jumping in.

The pipe led to a stone tunnel deep underground, and Thea walked along the tunnel.

Thea walked slowly, her eyes constantly scanning her surroundings, always paying attention to any movement around her.

The stone tunnel was very long, winding around one bend after another.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, Thea finally reached the end. At the end of the tunnel was a solid stone wall with two intertwined snakes carved on it, their eyes inlaid with large, sparkling emeralds.

Thea spoke in her snake-like voice again: "Hiss...hiss...hiss" (opening)

Then the stone wall split open in the middle, and slowly slid to both sides and disappeared, revealing a passage again.

A long, dimly lit room appeared before Thea. The first thing Thea noticed was the two rows of stone pillars carved with coiled and intertwined snakes, supporting the ceiling that melted into the darkness above.

At the far end stood a full-body statue of Salazar Slytherin, as tall as the room itself, pressed against the dark wall at the back.
