Struggling to survive at Hogwarts

Chapter 74 Quidditch Match

It's another transformation class.

Professor McGonagall's lesson was about turning a living organism into a goblet.

After demonstrating to the young wizards, Professor McGonagall called on some of them to try it out.

Unfortunately, Ron was the first one I picked.

Because Ron's wand was broken by the Whomping Willow on the first day of school, Ron was unable to complete the transformation of the Goblet.

McGonagall was a little disappointed and was about to select another wizard when she turned around and saw Hermione raise her hand.

“Miss Granger!” Professor McGonagall called out.

After Hermione stood up, she didn't demonstrate her shapeshifting ability. Instead, she went directly to Professor McGonagall and asked, "Professor, what exactly is the Chamber of Secrets? Could you tell us about it?"

"How come even Miss Know-It-All doesn't know about this?" Daphne asked Thea gossipingly.

"Maybe I'm mistaken! The description of the Chamber of Secrets isn't in 'Hogwarts: A History of the School,'" Thea said casually.

Looking at the eager eyes of the young wizards, McGonagall pursed her lips before explaining, "As you all know, Hogwarts had four founders, and the Chamber of Secrets was built by Salazar Slytherin, one of the founders. However, because Slytherin insisted on pure-blooded rule and left the school after disagreeing with the other three founders, the Chamber of Secrets disappeared, and no one knows where the entrance is."

After McGonagall finished speaking, seeing that Hermione still wanted to ask questions, she simply gestured to her with her eyes that this was a Transfiguration class, not a History of Magic class!

Seeing this, Hermione could only suppress her thirst for knowledge.

Over the next few days, Thea ran into Hermione in the library, the second-floor restroom, and other places.

Judging by the time, they should be preparing to brew the compound decoction!

Thea couldn't help but chuckle as she thought about the potion ingredients that Professor Snape was about to have stolen.

Flint, standing nearby, looked puzzled. "Thea?"

"I'm fine, I'm just looking forward to the day of the competition," Thea explained.

Flint instantly understood. "Of course! The honor belongs to Slytherin!"

Thea, recalling the maddening ball that day, couldn't help but agree, "Indeed, glory will belong to Slytherin!"

The two exchanged a glance, their ambition to win burning brightly in each other's eyes.

----------

The first Quidditch match of the semester is scheduled for this Saturday, with Slytherin facing Gryffindor.

The Slytherin players entered the Quidditch match arena.

The stadium is surrounded by towering stands, allowing spectators to enjoy a clear view of the game from above.

Hundreds of chairs were placed high in the surrounding stands, ensuring a good view of the field. At each end of the field stood three gold poles topped with rings.

"Are you nervous, Thea?" Flint rarely showed his chivalrous side.

"Actually, I'm not nervous at all. I'm just a little impatient to see our championship trophy." Thea said with a smile.

"I'll reiterate, Gore and Crabbe, you two must stick close to Thea and protect her from being hit by the ball. The rest of us, when there's no guarantee of a goal, please pass the ball to Thea! There's no need for individual heroism on the field!"

Got it?

"Got it!" the six said in unison.

"Good! The honor will belong to Slytherin! Now! Let's go!" Flint gave the order, and everyone filed out.

"Oh! It's obvious that Slytherin's team has undergone a major overhaul! There are four new members in this team! I wonder what kind of surprise Captain Flint will bring us."

"Jordan!" Professor McGonagall couldn't help but exclaim.

"...Captain Flint definitely used a special strategy! Go, Slytherin! Take down Gryffindor!"

Despite Professor McGonagall's death stare, Jordan continued to commentate on the game without fear of death.

Professor McGonagall was so angry at his last sentence that she laughed and wished she could immediately replace the commentator.

"Hey! Potter! Are you doing ballet?" Draco's ability to roast people exploded the moment he met Potter. Even Harry didn't know why the other had so many fancy, sarcastic sentences in his head.

"Draco!"

Thea saw Draco making threats at Potter from afar, and she was quite annoyed by the chemical reaction Draco always had with Harry.

“Thea!” Flint suddenly called out.

The next second, a Quake ball flew towards Thea at an extremely tricky angle. Thea immediately grabbed the ball and flew over several walls of people.

The other team members noticed Thea's predicament and rushed to help, knocking the Gryffindor players away.

Finally, with everyone's help, Thea successfully threw the ninth ball of the match without any major incident!

Slytherin scores again! Ten points!

The score is currently 90-60! Slytherin is in the lead! "Jordan, unusually, didn't make any jokes and gave a standard commentary.

"Looking at it now, we can see that Slytherin has adopted a strategy of protecting one player from multiple positions! The hunting formation centered around Chaser Black is already in place!"

Of course, Blake also showed us the skill that matches her status! She scored a total of 9 goals!

Faced with such a formidable opponent, how will Captain Wood respond?

Wood: "..."

Wood said he didn't want to deal with it, he just wanted to tear Flint, his old rival, apart!

From which nook and cranny did he dig out Blake?

How can someone have an innocent-looking face but be incredibly ferocious on the court? (Wood's shock)

Harry sat on his broomstick, his gaze sweeping over the cheering figures surrounding Thea. The urgency in his heart kept assaulting his reason, almost bursting forth.

Harry glanced at the green figure following closely behind him and felt his head throb even more.

"Damn Malfoy, as a Seeker, why isn't he catching the Golden Snitch and instead keeps circling around himself?"

In response, Draco said: "For no reason other than I just want to keep an eye on you."

Thea had already proposed a plan during previous training sessions: have Draco keep a close eye on Harry in the early stages of the match, even if he couldn't catch the Golden Snitch.

He doesn't need to do anything else, just make sure Harry can't catch the Golden Snitch!

Slytherin and Gryffindor are actually not that far apart in strength; the main difference is that Gryffindor's Seeker is the protagonist, Harry Potter!

So Thea came up with this underhanded tactic, making Draco temporarily sacrifice his chance to find the Golden Snitch in order to keep a close eye on Harry in the early stages of the game!

If the score difference between the two teams is more than 150 points, even if Gryffindor catches the thief, it won't matter!

Draco still remembers the scene when Flint and the others gaped open enough to fit an egg when Thea first proposed the plan.

But Flint, as the team captain, quickly agreed to the plan.

As soon as he entered the arena, Draco followed Thea's plan and kept a close eye on Harry. If he couldn't catch the Golden Snitch, neither could Gryffindor!

The game can be lost! But Gryffindor must die!
