Struggling to survive at Hogwarts

Chapter 55 Entering the Principal's Office Again

Thea did not look directly at the professor's table immediately, but stood up and slowly looked around.

When the hall was decorated in gold and red, everyone except Slytherin seemed to have a pure smile on their face.

Thea didn't speak, but her expressionless face showed as she scanned the crowd inch by inch with her eyes, as if trying to remember every cheering smile.

Under Thea's gaze, the cheers gradually subsided. Many of the young wizards who had participated in the study group stopped cheering when they saw Thea stand up.

Thea had attracted the attention of many young wizards the moment she stood up, especially those on the professors' bench:

Professor McGonagall slowly suppressed her surprise and joy, replacing them with her usual stern expression.

Snape looked at the unusually conspicuous girl, his brows furrowed, but a hint of worry appeared in his eyes.

Regardless, this girl is a Slytherin!

Professor Flitwick's eyes kept scanning Dumbledore and Thea, as if he were considering whose side he should take if a fight broke out.

Schprout's disapproval turned into concern after Thea stood up.

The strange atmosphere in the hall finally caught the attention of the exceptionally excited Gryffindors, and they gradually stopped cheering.

A brief silence fell over the hall, and Thea still did not speak.

Finally, Harry looked around and saw that many of the young wizards looked somewhat bewildered. His sense of justice made him a little unhappy.

But then, remembering how she had angered Thea a few days ago, she tried to soften her tone and said:

"Thea, are you unhappy? Why don't you sit down?"

In the silent hall, Harry's question sounded exceptionally clear.

Harry tried to ignore Hermione tugging at his clothes, staring intently at Thea, hoping to get an answer from her face.

Hearing Harry's question, Thea stopped looking around and turned her gaze to the boy whose face was full of a sense of justice.

Seeing this scene, Thea felt as if she were being judged by a savior as a dark wizard.

hypocritical!

affectation!

nausea!

Thea silently commented in her heart.

Seeing that Thea was ignoring him, he looked dazed.

Harry's conciliatory tone could no longer be maintained, and he demanded, "Thea, why won't you answer me?"

"Mr. Potter, what do you want me to answer?"

Should I share my thoughts on tonight's House Cup finale? Or should I answer how Slytherins are feeling right now?

Thea's expression was neither joyful nor resentful; she merely raised an eyebrow slightly, seemingly genuinely puzzled.

Harry was a little taken aback by Thea's question. Feeling the intense gazes around him, Harry felt somewhat uncomfortable, but he still persisted and asked:

"Thea, Granfendo won the Academy Cup tonight, although the news came a little late..."

Thea no longer knew whether Harry was genuinely naive or just pretending; it seemed that everything he said hit her sore spots perfectly.

Thea felt she had truly exploded, so she rudely interrupted Harry, raising her voice slightly as she asked loudly:

"If I remember correctly, Mr. Potter successfully protected the treasure, but you also violated nearly a hundred school rules, didn't you?"

Now Mr. Porter comes to me and shamelessly declares the ultimate fate of the Academy Cup...

Ha! So Mr. Potter is treating breaking school rules as a reward for you?

"As a student, breaking school rules without shame, but rather taking pride in it—is this Mr. Potter's sense of etiquette?"

After Thea finished speaking, she could feel that almost all the Slytherin students were looking at her with approval.

On the contrary, the gazes of the entire Granfendo were not friendly. Thea had enough evidence to prove that if looks could kill, she would probably already be mincemeat.

Thea ignored all the stares, her eyes fixed on Harry, whose face was flushed red.

Harry: "..."

Harry was speechless after Thea's words, and he looked at Dumbledore on the professor's table as if pleading for help.

But Dumbledore was only focused on cutting the lamb chops on his plate, seemingly oblivious to the conflict between Thea and Harry.

Seeing this, Harry lowered his head in disappointment.

The entire hall erupted in excitement because of Thea's words. For every person who admired Harry's title of savior, there was just as much envy.

With no one around to supervise them, the whispers among the young wizards gradually grew louder.

The younger students in Slytherin looked at Thea's speech and a glimmer of hope appeared on their faces, but the older students and Thea herself remained expressionless.

They all knew this greatest wizard well; once he made a decision, no one could change it.

Sure enough, as the sound of the golden cup being struck came from the professor's seat, the young wizard immediately fell silent.

Everyone looked toward the professor's seat, where Dumbledore smiled and said:

"Your courage is evident to all. Of course, the young wizards from other academies are equally outstanding, and I believe that you will all have a successful future!"

Now, you may begin to enjoy your dinner.

Everyone was speechless. They had thought Dumbledore was going to answer the question about who would win the House Cup, but he only gave some ambiguous answers.

They didn't hear anything they wanted to hear!

Despite their many doubts, under the intimidation of their headmaster, the young wizards picked up their knives and forks and began to enjoy their dinner.

Snape's face was already incredibly dark. Seeing Dumbledore silence the dissenting voices with a few words, he moved his lips slightly, but ultimately said nothing.

Thea and Harry had already taken their seats with subtle hints from their headmaster or prefect when Dumbledore spoke.

Unlike Thea's decisiveness, Harry hesitated for a long time before finally calming down under the fierce glare of his own headmaster.

The atmosphere in the hall returned to normal, but the previous cheers seemed to have disappeared, and even the usually most active Weasley twins were unusually quiet.

Thea seemed to listen attentively to Dumbledore's words, but she knew perfectly well that Dumbledore would never change his mind.

Moreover, this is the first step in his journey to becoming a savior, and he absolutely will not allow anyone to sabotage it!

Hearing the slightly choked voices of several young wizards nearby, Thea thought for a moment before speaking, "It's understandable to vent emotions through crying, but are you sure you want to show your weakness in front of those lions?"

Thea used a few tricks; although her voice wasn't loud, it carried throughout the entire Slytherin table.

The little snakes quickly held back their tears and began to compose themselves, realizing that they had actually shown weakness in front of those foolish lions.

Within minutes, apart from her eyes still being a little red, there was no sign that she had been crying.

After watching everyone regain their characteristic Slytherin haughty expressions, Thea's gaze fell on the pumpkin juice on the table. She glanced at the professors' table and then immediately looked away.

The little wizards are all fine, but I seem to be in big trouble!
