I raise elves in Florian

Chapter 51 Monk Haita

Haita was a monk who had always worshipped the goddess, but Shi Yichen possessed an aura similar to that of the goddess, which made Haita begin to respect the girl before him.

"Please forgive my two teammates; they were far too reckless. I will definitely teach them a lesson when I get back."

The monk Haita bowed slightly and respectfully addressed Shi Yichen.

"Haita, is there anything special about this girl?"

Warrior Aize didn't understand why Haita did this; he only knew that the girl in front of him was very strong, even stronger than him.

"He must have some extraordinary abilities! Otherwise, Haita wouldn't be like this."

Simmel sheathed his sword, and as he did so, he could feel the extremely dangerous aura disappear. The girl in front of him had become harmless, and Simmel felt pressured standing in front of her.

"There's no need for that, uncle, I'm only eighteen!"

Shi Yichen could also sense a benevolent aura emanating from the monk Haita. As for why she said she was eighteen years old, it was because she didn't want people to know her identity.

Bah! A man over a thousand years old, yet he claims to be only eighteen. Has he no shame?

"And what are you doing here? What do you intend to do to my elf?"

Shi Yichen did not sheathe his sword, nor did he lower his guard because they put away their weapons. Three strangers, trying to steal his home as soon as they arrived? How could that be possible?

"Here's the thing, our team is lacking a powerful mage, and your elf friend happens to fit our requirements, so we've come to invite her to join us."

Simmel walked up to Shi Yichen and spoke to him sincerely. His intuition told him that the girl in front of him was very strong, stronger than all of them.

"What do you think?"

Shi Yichen looked at Frilian behind him.

If I had to choose, I'd rather stay with you.

Frillie looked at Shi Yichen. Faced with the choice of going on an adventure or staying with Shi Yichen, she still wanted to choose the latter.

"Frilian, let's go together and defeat the Demon King!"

Simmel sincerely invited Frilian to join them in defeating the Demon King. As for Shi Yichen, Simmel could certainly see the feelings between Frilian and her. If Frilian agreed, Shi Yichen might also go with Frilian.

"It's too late. I haven't fought against the demons for five hundred years. I've even forgotten how to fight."

Frilian hid behind Shi Yichen and spoke to Simmel. When Simmel mentioned that they were going to defeat the Demon King, Frilian was slightly tempted.

Because their teacher, Flame, told them that when they killed the Demon King, they would be remembered in history, and from then on they would no longer need to keep a low profile.

"I've dragged this out for too long, and I haven't made a decision yet. It must be because I'm afraid of fighting the Demon King. The past is too long to be undone."

Frillian grabbed Shi Yichen's clothes from behind. She had actually thought about going to fight the Demon King with Shi Yichen.

But the more Frillie thought about the fear that she and Shi Yichen would be killed by the Demon King, or that one of them would die, the less she dared to fight the Demon King.

"So what? Frilian, I'm talking to you about the present, not the past."

Simmel looked at Frilian with unwavering eyes, confident that he could persuade her to join them in defeating the Demon King.

Simmel's words were hard for Frillie to believe. For a moment, Frillie felt that Simmel had persuaded her to join them in defeating the Demon King.

Frilian looked up at Shi Yichen. She had been persuaded by Simmel to join them in defeating the Demon King, but she didn't want to leave Shi Yichen, which gave Frilian a bit of a headache.

"If you want to go, I can go with you! If we don't kill the Demon King this time, we can go again next time. We'll be able to kill the Demon King someday."

Shi Yichen took Frilian's hand and said to her that if Simmel and the others failed to kill the Demon King this time, she would only bring Frilian back. Compared to Simmel and the others, Shi Yichen cared most about Frilian and her grandmaster, Celia.

These two people are the most important people to Shi Yichen, and they are still alive. If Frilian wants to go with Simmel to fight the Demon King, they will definitely pass by their master, Seria, and can visit her along the way.

"I want to go, with you."

Frilian gripped Shi Yichen's hand tightly and looked at her. If she were the only one to ask Shi Yichen to stay here, Frilian would feel bad, because she had gotten used to having Shi Yichen in her life.

"Then it's settled. I'll go with you."

Frilian and Shi Yichen exchanged a smile.

"Since Frilian has agreed, I have no choice but to agree as well. However, I want to go with her. I'm worried about her going to such a dangerous place alone."

Furthermore, I don't know your strength. If you bring Frilian to your deaths, I won't allow it.

"Let's make this clear first: if we encounter an enemy we can't defeat, I'll just run away with Frillie. I won't care about you guys; your lives or deaths are none of my concern. I only care about Frillie."

Shi Yichen looked at Xinmeier and the other two. He had taken care of Frilian for over a thousand years, so how could he just hand her over to them like this? He felt more at ease following Frilian himself, at least he could protect her.

Shi Yichen defeated the Demon King hundreds of years ago, so he has no fear whatsoever. As for whether Simmel and the others can win, that's another matter entirely.

Anyway, since they won't win the fight, she'll just rescue Frillie.

"That's good."

Simmel was prepared to be rejected by Frilian, but to her surprise, Frilian agreed. They had come to find Frilian, but unexpectedly, another person appeared.

One more person means one more person, and one more source of strength. Although he had never fought Shi Yichen, Xinmeier could sense that Shi Yichen was someone he could not defeat.

And she looked so young, which was a blow to Simmel's heart. A girl younger than her was also stronger than her.

Simmel had no idea that Shi Yichen was a human who had lived for over a thousand years, only a few hundred years younger than the elf beside him.

Humans only live for about a hundred years, and at most two hundred years. Monks, on the other hand, usually live a little longer.

Dwarfs typically live for three to four hundred years, while some can live up to five or six hundred years.

As for elves and demons, they can be said to have near-eternal lifespans and are unlikely to die naturally.

This is common knowledge among everyone on this continent.

Let's go back!

Shi Yichen took Frilian's hand and prepared to walk towards the wooden house.

Would you like to come in and sit for a while?

Just as they were about to leave, Chen asked Simmel and the other two.

"Then I'll take my leave."

Xinmeier and the other two followed Shi Yichen toward the wooden house. They soon saw a wooden house of moderate size. Although the outside was not very attractive, the inside was decorated very warmly by Shi Yichen.

....................................

(Disclaimer: This book is written as I think of things. It currently features two female protagonists, but Aura doesn't count yet. I don't know if there will be any more female protagonists later on.)

I know that when many people saw that Shi Yichen accepted Awula's existence, they would think that Awula was a demon or something, and wondered why Shi Yichen would take her in. Then many people couldn't stand it.

Let me clarify first, Aura is not Shi Yichen's enemy; they are merely adversaries. If Simmel could give that little demon a chance, why couldn't she give Aura a chance as well?

Some people say that Aula killed so many humans, yet Shi Yichen still accepted her. Isn't that a slap in the face? The number of humans who died at Shi Yichen's hands was no less than Aula's.

Why can only demons kill people, but Shi Yichen can't?

Besides, Shi Yichen has lived for over a thousand years and is no longer the little girl she once was. When she defeated the Demon King, she had already taken her revenge.

Also, this is a novel, not reality.

I don't know why some people insist on focusing on this, saying things like, "Why are you using your brain when you read novels? It was said from the beginning, don't use your brain."

(Thank you everyone, please give me a five-star review. If you like Lycoris, you can check out my other book, but it features the male protagonist.)
