Harry Potter: This senior is pretty strong

Chapter 30 The nature of a gentleman is not different; he is good at making use of things.

When it comes to acting skills, Qin Yu really has nothing to be proud of.

Especially compared to Snape from Mission: Impossible, I'm just a little brother, okay?

To be honest, Lucius had some doubts about Qin Yu's words just now, but Snape's timely appearance diverted Lucius's attention. Then Snape said that he could get the Veritaserum at any time, acting as if nothing was wrong and nonchalant. Lucius thought he had a certain ability to discern, so he didn't let Snape cause trouble and chose to believe Qin Yu's words.

Moreover, Qin Yu believed that even if Snape did get the Veritaserum, he would definitely tamper with it, because you can always trust Comrade Severus Snape's loyalty!

Of course, the most important reason is that, as a descendant of a noble pure-blood family, Mr. Malfoy simply doesn't bother to argue with a little brat and is too lazy to waste his energy.

In this way, Qin Yu successfully got away with it, while Malfoy could only accept Dumbledore's explanation and ultimately left in disappointment.

……

"Hagrid is the guard of the hunting grounds. Didn't Mr. Malfoy call him to explain the situation?" Qin Yu asked, puzzled.

Snape's presence was reassuring, while Qin Yu was constantly worried that Hagrid might suddenly appear.

You can always trust Snape's acting skills, but you should never trust Hagrid's words either.

Fortunately, Qin Yu didn't see Uncle Hagrid until Malfoy left.

“Because Hagrid happened to be away that day, there was no need to answer questions… Also, about the Octopod Venom, I asked Hagrid to do it, and I have already explained this to Mr. Malfoy.” After saying this, Dumbledore looked into Qin Yu’s eyes and continued, “So, little Qin Yu, you should give some of the money you make from selling Venom to the school. You should discuss this with your friends.”

Dumbledore had thought the boy would be reluctant to hand over the profits, but to his surprise, Qin Yu nodded readily and said, "No problem, I can give you a promise first, we guarantee to hand over 10% of the profits to the school!"

His answer surprised both Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall.

A 10% profit margin is not a small amount, especially for a child; it's quite substantial.

However, they immediately saw Qin Yu reveal a bright smile and slowly say, "So, Professor Dumbledore, we can claim that those things are special products from Hogwarts when we sell them, right?"

“Of course you can claim that…” Dumbledore nodded subconsciously, but he quickly realized what was going on and chuckled, “You little boy, you’re really quite shrewd.”

Dumbledore was a shrewd and experienced man, not one to be bound by outdated ideas. He naturally understood the meaning behind Qin Yu's words.

"Hehe, it's all thanks to the principal's excellent teaching!" Qin Yu quickly flattered Old Deng.

"Alright, that's all for now. Go back to class." Dumbledore patted Qin on the shoulder and said with a smile.

"Okay, I'll go say hello to Hagrid first, then head back to Hogwarts Castle for class immediately!"

After saying these words, Qin Yu bid farewell to Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall and ran towards Hagrid's Hut.

“Professor Dumbledore, what did this boy mean by what he just said? Why did he agree so readily to let the school share a portion of the profits?” Professor McGonagall couldn’t help but ask.

She was completely absorbed in education and had no idea about business matters, so she was a little confused about Qin Yu's motives.

“Haha, Minerva, you don’t understand. He’s trying to use the school’s name to scam people, to make money. That way, with the Hogwarts name, he can definitely raise the price a little,” Dumbledore explained the crux of the matter.

Professor McGonagall immediately understood, sighed helplessly, and said, "He really is a very cunning child."

"Being good at finding opportunities in crises and leveraging external forces is a very powerful ability. As the wise man Xun from the East once said, 'A talented person's aptitude and character are no different from others; the only difference is that he is good at utilizing external resources.' And Qin happens to possess such qualities," Dumbledore said to Professor McGonagall.

“That makes sense…” Professor McGonagall said, then asked with a hint of doubt, “Professor Dumbledore, you seem to enjoy quoting Eastern sages lately? I’ve heard you do it more than once.”

"Really?" Dumbledore was taken aback for a moment, then smiled and said, "It's probably because of this Eastern child that I've unconsciously started paying attention to Eastern wisdom. I must say, the words of those ancient sages are truly inspiring. Minerva, I suggest you read those books when you have time; you'll definitely gain something from them."

“Okay, I will,” Professor McGonagall nodded, readily agreeing.

The two old friends chatted as they strolled back to Hogwarts.

……

Qin Yu went to see Hagrid for two reasons: first, to let Uncle Han know he was safe and sound so he wouldn't worry about him; and second, of course, to explain the sales of the eight-eyed giant spider venom and other miscellaneous parts.

“We can be even bolder with our marketing strategy. We can label all of these things as products of Hogwarts, and even add the claim that Professor Snape personally handled them, since he is quite renowned in the field of potion research,” Qin Yu said, outlining his plan.

This was pretty much what Professor Dumbledore had guessed, except that he hadn't expected Qin Yu to drag Snape into it as well.

"Huh? Will this work? Won't it violate school rules?" Hagrid asked with some concern.

"Don't worry, I've already reached an agreement with Professor Dumbledore. As long as we hand over 10% of the profits to the school, we can openly use the Hogwarts trademark!" Qin Yu gave Hagrid a bright, sunny smile.

"Oh, if that's the case, then that's good." Hagrid also smiled happily.

From a small vendor to a "school-run enterprise," Haige gained a lot of confidence.

Of course, Qin Yu was just trying to take advantage of the situation, and he certainly won't be allowed to do this forever.

But let's make some money first.

"Alright, I'm leaving. I came here to tell you that if those customers want to make additional purchases, let's not rush to sell. It's not too late to sell after we've negotiated a suitable price," Qin Yu said as he stood up.

“Okay, I’ll listen to you,” Hagrid said in a low voice.

……

After leaving Hagrid's cabin, Qin Yu skipped off towards the school.

Then, finally, they arrived at the classroom before Professor Binns, the History of Magic teacher, could emerge from behind the blackboard. (Note: Professor Binns is a ghost who often suddenly appears from behind the blackboard.)

During class, Qin Yu became the first student in the entire first year (and possibly the entire school) to raise his hand to answer a question in the History of Magic class.

After explaining the historical significance and far-reaching impact of the practice of burning witches in the medieval Muggle world, Qin Yu received praise from Professor Binns and earned a point for Gryffindor.

When Qin Yu heard Professor Binns say he would award him a point, he was almost moved to tears.

Merlin's beard, which cost me so many points, finally allowed me to get one point back!
