Harry Potter: This senior is pretty strong

Chapter 163 A withered branch knocks on rotten wood, a giant sends the person home.

"Teacher, I finally got to mock Harry Potter in front of Qin today! I didn't let you down!" Under the cool moonlight, Malfoy excitedly reported his "achievements" to the mysterious teacher.

Qin Yu had stopped bothering to correct Malfoy for calling him "teacher" at some point. After all, people should address each other by their own names, so he might as well just call him "teacher."

However, he instructed the boy, "If you cause trouble in the future, do not mention my name."

Of course, he didn't tell Malfoy what his name was either. He couldn't very well say something like "a fool who doesn't belong to this era," whether it was chuunibyou or not. He was afraid that some indescribable god would break through dimensions and come looking for him.

Wearing an alchemical mask and hidden in a black cloak, Qin Yu couldn't help but roll his eyes when he heard Malfoy's smug words.

But her tone remained cold and indifferent: "Really? How did you do it?"

"I..." Malfoy was about to tell the story of what happened that morning, but he found it difficult to say it.

"What? Is there really nothing to it, and you're just bragging here?" Qin Yu's tone was slightly angry, and his aura immediately became authoritative.

"No, no, I really did mock Potter to his face, but..." Malfoy was afraid his teacher would be angry, but he was also afraid that telling the truth would make him even angrier.

"But what?" Qin Yu, his face masked, leaned down to look at him and pressed for an answer.

"I, I..." Malfoy stammered for a long time, then finally gritted his teeth, closed his eyes, and said, "I mocked him for having no home to go home for Christmas!"

That reason certainly lacks sophistication.

After he finished speaking, the surroundings fell silent, with only the sound of the cold wind whistling past their ears.

The terrible silence made Malfoy's heart pound with excitement as he closed his eyes. He thought to himself, "Is the teacher really even angrier now?"

After a long while, he finally mustered up his courage and slowly opened his eyes, wanting to see the mysterious teacher's reaction.

What came into his view was a cold, expressionless dark gold mask. The mask's owner was still leaning slightly forward, looking at him as if scrutinizing his fear and panic.

A strange sense of shame instantly rose in Malfoy's heart, and this shame reached its peak after hearing that contemptuous "tsk" laugh, making his face turn bright red.

"Why are you blushing? Weren't you feeling quite smug about it just now?" Qin Yu straightened up and asked with a slightly playful tone.

"I...I...I was wrong." Malfoy stammered for a long time before finally lowering his head and admitting his mistake.

"Oh? What did you do wrong?" Qin Yu asked curiously, as if he had heard something strange.

"Yes, where did I go wrong?" Malfoy was somewhat bewildered by the question.

He wanted to rush up to Harry Potter and say those things to Qin in front of him, so that he wouldn't be a coward, and at the same time, he wanted to severely belittle Harry Potter, who had been so arrogant since the Quidditch match, and embarrass him!

However, why did I feel ashamed and unable to speak about something that was supposed to be a way to vent my anger?

“Because…because I shouldn’t have laughed at him for not being able to go home?” Malfoy said tentatively in a low voice.

This was the first thing he could think of that was where he had made a mistake. He felt that the teacher was probably a rather "upright" person, so he didn't like him making fun of others.

Of course, he didn't think that everything he did was right.

However, to vent his anger, he had to resort to some means, and he clearly didn't have many. After all, in terms of fighting, he could at best fight Harry Potter to a draw, while he was no match for Qin. So, he could only mock Potter by mentioning that he couldn't go home.

This method is indeed not very honorable, which is probably why the teacher is angry.

"Is that all you've thought of?" Qin Yu asked cryptically.

"And...what else?" Malfoy's mind raced, trying to figure out what else he had done wrong.

"A piece of rotten wood..."

Qin Yu sighed, drew his wand, chanted a spell, and swung it above Malfoy's head. Malfoy was so frightened that he froze on the spot, thinking that his head was about to be knocked off.

However, the target of the curse was not him.

A sharp "crack" sounded from above, and a small, withered oak branch snapped off and hit Malfoy squarely on the head.

"Ouch!"

Malfoy was hit hard and rubbed his head, looking at his teacher with a wronged expression.

"Do you want to know where you went wrong?" Qin Yu asked.

"I'll think about it, please tell me, I'll definitely change next time!" Malfoy nodded repeatedly.

At this moment, he dared not say any more nonsense. He had witnessed the power of this mysterious teacher. Just now it was just a tree branch, but next it might be a big rock that could smash his head open.

"You mock his background and family, things he can't control, but what he truly makes you jealous and angry, you know best in your heart, don't you, my young master Malfoy?" Qin Yu's tone was clearly sarcastic at the end.

Malfoy's face flushed red and then turned pale as he spoke, a sight that could be seen even in the moonlight.

He had never heard of an Eastern dish called "Amomum villosum and pork heart," but the feeling of having his true inner thoughts exposed was similar.

The teacher was right. What he was really jealous of was that Harry Potter always got to be in the spotlight. He wished he could kick that guy off his flying broomstick on the day of the Quidditch match. He was also jealous of that guy named Qin, who always protected Harry Potter.

Why? Why does Harry Potter get all the good things, and why doesn't Draco Malfoy get a chance?

Even if you have a really great teacher now, you can only see them once a week, and you can't show them off everywhere—that's the most painful thing.

This series of events made him very resentful, and when he finally found an outlet for his pent-up resentment, he acted impulsively and dared to say something sarcastic to Harry in front of Qin, the "school bully" of Hogwarts.

Looking back now, I realize that all I did back then, besides being full of enthusiasm, was incredibly foolish and naive.

“Teacher, I know where I went wrong. I shouldn’t have been so proud of myself over such a small thing, because there’s nothing to be proud of.” Malfoy said, lowering his head.

That's a very sincere statement.

"Not completely stupid," Qin Yu commented, then continued, "Like I said before, I hope you will use your true strength to reclaim the glory that belongs to you."

"I will, I definitely will!" Malfoy said with a determined look in his eyes, his fists clenched tightly.

Qin Yu nodded and then instructed him, "When you go back for the Christmas holidays, don't neglect your magic studies. Also, don't mention my existence to anyone, including your parents!"

"Understood, I will listen to what you say!" Malfoy quickly assured him solemnly.

Qin Yu nodded again, thinking to himself that he hoped that spending this hour every week would yield a satisfactory result in the future.

……

The next day, in the morning.

The young wizards, eager to return home for Christmas, packed their bags early and arrived at Hogsmeade Station in droves, waiting to board the magical express train.

Qin Yu didn't have much luggage, but Hermione had a large suitcase.

Perhaps thinking that with Qin Yu as a helper, the girl packed a whole suitcase full of things, pushing it to its limit.

"What's in here?" Qin Yu asked, struggling to lift the suitcase.

Hermione replied that she was bringing some local products from Hogsmeade for her parents.

What a filial act! What could Qin Yu say?

Fortunately, they ran into Hagrid on the way. Hagrid wasn't very busy at the time, so he helped them carry their luggage to the station.

"It's a real shame you can't spend Christmas here again this year," Hagrid couldn't help but sigh.

Despite his large size, this giant uncle is quite sensitive and emotional, especially towards those he knows well.

Qin Yu shook Uncle Hagrid's thumb—he could only shake one finger—and said with regret and apology, "I'm sorry, Hagrid. In two years, when Uncle Granger and Aunt Granger feel more at ease with Hermione, we will stay at Hogwarts for Christmas."

“Yes, Hagrid, I’m really looking forward to Christmas at school too, but Mom and Dad think I’m still too young and they want me to go home for the holidays,” Hermione added, then muttered under her breath, “I feel like I’m already too old.”

When it came to his parents, Hagrid's emotions were complicated. He cast an envious glance at Hermione, but he quickly composed himself, patted the two of them with a smile, and said he was looking forward to spending Christmas together.

After saying goodbye to Hagrid, Qin Yu and Hermione boarded the train that was about to depart.
