JOJO: Bizarre Adventure

Chapter 259 Toilet

Run, Middle School! The dormitory building for the first year of high school, one floor.

By this time, Qiao Zhou and the others had arrived at their respective rooms.

"it is as expected."

In the first-floor restroom of the dormitory, Qiao Maipi smiled as he looked at the note in his hand.

He glanced at it briefly, then stuffed the note into his pocket.

Although he took the note with him, he had no intention of bringing it out again.

The note was probably left by the previous intruder, containing some reminders for those who came after.

"Beware of imposters; imposters may replace humans."

This sentence kept swirling in Joe Maip's mind.

They had never heard of a fake person before.

However, he roughly guessed what it was.

He observed some things when he went downstairs, which are likely related to this fake person.

"It's almost time, let's go back to our room."

Qiao Maipi's dormitory is 107. After walking in, you'll find it's a standard eight-person room with two iron bunk beds on each side, covered with white sheets.

At the back of the room is a small balcony where students' luggage is placed, but it is all placed behind the protruding walls on both sides, probably to make the room look as tidy as possible.

Returning to the matter of that note, it wasn't by chance that Joe McPee found it; rather, he deduced it through the rules.

Moreover, this matter is of paramount importance to them.

They now see the rules in three places: the classroom (school building), the cafeteria, and the dormitory.

Two of the rules are special.

There are two overlapping and strange rules in the classroom rules and dormitory rules.

Classroom rules:

Fourth, do not look out the window.

10. You must also follow the rules in the toilet.

as well as,

Dormitory rules:

9. Do not look out the window.

11. Even in the restroom, you must follow the rules.

Let's rule out the rule about not looking out the window; the rule about the toilet is the one that deserves more serious consideration.

Why add a rule that you "must" follow the rules even in the toilet?

Let's not talk about how awkward this rule is.

If there are some classroom rules that can reasonably apply in the restrooms...

Therefore, only rule number eight (always ensure there is no food in the dormitory) and rule number nine (do not look out the window) apply to the toilet.

The problem, however, is that the toilet has no windows at all.

So Article 9 is also invalid. So what is the purpose of this rule?

For this reason, Joe McPee speculates that the rule is likely not specifically targeted at schools.

This might not even be a school rule.

As mentioned earlier, the strange rules must maintain a balance.

In other words, everyone has a chance to win.

This "all people" does not refer to two opposing individuals, but rather to multiple forces and camps.

In ghost stories, there are factions that are unfavorable to them, and there are also factions that are favorable to them.

For example, schools. Although they are quite resistant to school rules, they are currently unaware of the relationship between schools and them.

And what truly opposes them is the school, these so-called "pseudo-people," or something else entirely.

It is precisely this mechanism that greatly increases the complexity of the strange rules, forcing them to think more flexibly about the situation at hand.

Based on this line of thinking, this rule may not have been established for the benefit of schools at all, and even schools may not be able to control its existence.

Its purpose in being written down is to remind intruders of the special nature of the "toilet" place.

Even in the restrooms, you still need to follow the rules, but they may not be the rules designed by the school.

The person who wrote this rule must be in opposition to the school.

Joe McPee guessed that there must be some special secret in the toilet, but he couldn't explore it freely at the moment, even with the "newbie protection period".

However, it is known that toilets can, to some extent, shield the school's rules, but the exact extent is uncertain.

The person who wrote this rule did so to tell them this.

"There are at least three forces here: the school, the intruders, and this mysterious force that has left loopholes in the rules."

He was thinking to himself.

These other two forces must be on opposing sides, and it's hard to say which one is in league with intruders like them.

Not to mention that "fake person".

Joe Maipie lay on the bed with his eyes closed, constantly thinking.

If the school and the intruder are in cahoots, then the school rules are meant to protect them, and the existence of the toilets signifies something that will be detrimental to them.

If that person or group is in cahoots with them, then the school rules are meant to control them, and they need to break free from the school's constraints. The existence of the toilet is a haven of peace.

Although it was lunchtime, Joe Maip's body was specially designed so he didn't need to sleep at all, so he had plenty of time to think.

The toilet is on the second floor of the dormitory.

"Speaking of dormitories, do you guys know what that means?"

The other two had no idea what Qiao Zhou was going to say.

"Actually, 'dormitory' and 'dormitory' are both very archaic terms."

After Qiao Zhou finished speaking, both of them sighed as they looked at Zhao Shitang, who was completely bewildered.

"What are we going to do about this guy's exam?"

Qiao Zhou said worriedly.

"There is only one way right now, and that is to find a way out before the exam."

"That sounds plausible."

Qiao Zhou shook his head helplessly.

The group left the restroom and returned to their respective dormitory rooms.

You Sifang and Zhao Shitang lived in 219, and Qiao Zhou lived in 203.
