JOJO: Bizarre Adventure

This was the third time that Sano Kinji had tried to use "What is the King's Minister" to prevent the two from dying.

However, this time it still didn't work.

This is "probability," an elusive and intangible ability.

Sano Kinji did change the probability, but he couldn't control it.

Fortunately, his abilities transcend the "Bite the Dust" rule, and his predetermined fate cannot stop him.

Under normal circumstances, his abilities might not actually have a very stable effect.

As I've said before, "Mo Fei Wang Chen" is one of the "most reckless" stand-ins.

Forcibly rewriting the probability of something to fifty percent could very well lead to disaster.

Finally, in the sixth time travel, he successfully saved Hirose Koichi and Yamagishi Yukako.

But he knew that was far from enough.

Sano Kinji first settled the two of them in, and then immediately explained the matter to Oda Goyoshi.

They then discovered that the "Immortal" was gradually disappearing. Although a large-scale death incident still occurred in Morioh Town not long afterward, the enemy did not reappear.

That wasn't enough, Sano Kinji knew; something else was missing.

So he initiated the rewind again, and then he repeated his previous actions.

This time they were lucky; during the second time travel, Sano Kinji successfully rescued the two of them.

This time, he took the two of them and hid far away.

Then we timed it perfectly and waited for the feedback from the other side.

Meanwhile, in that alley, a man stood and shouted loudly:

"You old bastard! You're the one asking for money, aren't you! Don't let me see you in Morioh! Otherwise, I'll beat you up every time I see you! I'll turn you into mincemeat!"

After shouting for a minute, nothing happened.

When Sano Kinji learned of this, he roughly understood the current situation.

Then, it's time for the next backtracking.

The same action was repeated, but this time he was less lucky. It wasn't until the eighth attempt that he successfully rescued the two.

This is not a good sign, because his mind was already quite tense, which is equivalent to an extra eight hours of mental strain.

When Sano Kinji successfully rescued the two, several people were already standing around him.

"Alright, Yitai, it's up to you now."

Although he didn't know why, Nijimura Okuyasu did as he was told.

Four necklace-like objects were taken out, and Nijimura Okuyasu released his Stand.

Sano Kinji opened his eyes again and returned to the bench once more.

Make a phone call, rescue people, remove four protective charms, and have someone stand in the alley shouting.

This seems to be his ninth attempt to complete the entire process, or maybe the eleventh, who knows.

Until one time, he succeeded. He finished everything in half an hour, and the timing was perfect, before a mass death occurred.

"Okay, that's settled then. Just wait until next time..."

Sano Kinji was unusually excited; he was doing these things almost instinctively.

When will it be next time?

Maybe it's the fifth time, or the sixth time, or even the thirteenth time.

In short, he succeeded.

When Sano Kinji finished doing everything, Kira Yoshikage immediately withdrew "Bite the Dust" from his body.

"finally……"

Sano Kinji's expression was initially cold and indifferent, then suddenly turned into exaggerated excitement, but in an instant, he collapsed to the ground.

"Sano..."

It sounded like someone was calling his name, but Sano Kinji couldn't hear anything.

Sano Kinji opened his eyes again.

He suddenly felt unwell, and for a moment he couldn't figure out what the problem was.

This discomfort actually came from the bed beneath him and the blanket covering him.

"Mr. Sano!"

"Sano, you're awake!"

The shouts around him pulled him back to reality. Only then did Sano Kinji realize that he was lying in a room, with a ray of sunlight shining through the window next to him.

It was early spring, and the sunshine gave him a warm and pleasant feeling.

He felt strange, realizing he hadn't basked in sunlight like this in a long time.

Sano Kinji opened his mouth, but found that he couldn't say anything.

He didn't know why; to be precise, he knew nothing at all.

Perhaps he has forgotten how to speak.

After an unknown amount of time, with the care of those around him, Sano Kinji spoke his first words.

"Can I... take a vacation...?"

Although he's practically on vacation most of the time.

"Of course, Sano."

Oda Goyoshi had just finished dealing with his work and was now sitting on the edge of the bed looking at Sano Kinji.

"That's...wonderful..."

Sano Kinji's brain gradually recovered, and he had just regained his ability to think.

He now knew where his discomfort came from.

He woke up countless times on that uncomfortable bench and ran countless times towards the setting sun.

This made him feel uncomfortable with the warm and comfortable bed and the midday sun.

Oda Goyoshi knew that Sano Kinji must have gone through many rewinds to obtain such detailed information and such a meticulous plan.

He couldn't imagine what kind of torment this usually timid and lazy man had gone through.

In fact, even Kinji Sano himself didn't know.

How many times did he go back in time?

A hundred times? It seems like more.

Two hundred times? Maybe.

Three hundred times? He didn't know.

No one knows anymore.

Even you and I, and all of you here, don't know how many times he went through regressions, and I can't even imagine how much torment he endured.

Then even fewer people would know, right?

Throughout these hundreds of retracings, Sano Kinji tirelessly moved about and pondered.

He saved the entire town of Morioh, but few people know it.

But so what?

All he wants to do right now is lie down for a while, even though he's been lying down for a long time.

Perhaps he can lie there for much longer, ideally until the day the universe ends.

First, this part is actually a bit like a personal side story, but it's not. It's just a side story. Sano Kinji is a character I really like, so he's the protagonist.

Diablo's story, for example, is a true solo spin-off.

Second, Sano Kinji's birthday is November 11th. This is what I initially wrote in the character details, but I have now forgotten why.
