From cannon fodder villain to superpowered queen

Bi Yao and Jiang Ruiyuan followed the flustered villager and found him sneaking into an abandoned warehouse.

An inconspicuous truck was parked at the entrance of the warehouse, its cargo compartment piled high with disaster relief supplies that should have been distributed to the villagers.

"Good heavens, I knew something was wrong! How did these supplies end up here?" Bi Yao said in a low voice, her tone tinged with anger.

Jiang Ruiyuan's expression was solemn. He gently patted her shoulder, signaling her to be careful.

The two sneaked into the warehouse and discovered that it was a hidden world inside.

In the dim light, several people dressed in black were loading supplies onto another truck, seemingly to be transported away.

The air was filled with a musty smell, mixed with a faint stench of blood, which was nauseating.

Bi Yao covered her nose and muttered under her breath, "This place is so creepy, could it be some kind of illegal workshop?"

"It's probably even more terrifying than a black market workshop." Jiang Ruiyuan observed the surrounding environment, his expression growing increasingly serious.

Strange symbols were sprayed crookedly on the wall, looking like some kind of mysterious totem.

The two exchanged a glance, both seeing shock and worry in each other's eyes.

Behind this charity, there seems to be a huge conspiracy.

Upon returning to their residence, Bi Yao and Jiang Ruiyuan immediately began their investigation.

However, threats also followed.

An anonymous letter was slipped into their room, with the words written in bright red ink: "Curiosity killed the cat, mind your own business!" Immediately afterward, a threatening phone call came in, a sinister voice on the other end saying: "I know what you're investigating. You'd better stop immediately, or else..."

Shadows loomed over them, and danger was ever-present.

Walking on the street, I always feel like someone is following me in the dark; back in my room, I always feel like something has been disturbed.

Fear is like an invisible net, tightly surrounding them.

Nevertheless, Bi Yao and Jiang Ruiyuan did not back down.

"What are you afraid of! We're like cockroaches that can't be killed!" Bi Yao clenched her fists, her eyes shining with determination.

Jiang Ruiyuan nodded, his eyes filled with courage and determination: "Even if there are mountains of knives and seas of fire ahead, we will overcome them!"

Suddenly, a rapid knock on the door broke the silence of the night...

Bi Yao suddenly opened the door, and a panting young man stood outside, clutching a document tightly in his hand.

"Mr. Jiang asked me to give this to you, saying it's a very important clue!" After saying this, the young man hurriedly left.

Jiang Ruiyuan was facing the computer screen, his fingers flying across the keyboard.

The dense code on the screen flowed like a waterfall, dazzling Bi Yao.

"Done!" Jiang Ruiyuan shouted excitedly, jumping up from his chair with a gleam of intelligence in his eyes.

“I’ve found out! All the clues point to the local Zhao family! They appear to be doing charity work, but in reality they’re…” He paused, then lowered his voice, “…human smuggling!”

The news immediately threw the Zhao family into chaos.

The old patriarch, Zhao Tianba, slammed his teacup to the ground and roared, "Who leaked the information?! Investigate! Investigate thoroughly!" His face was ashen, and the veins on his forehead bulged, making him look like a wild beast about to go berserk.

Bi Yao looked at Jiang Ruiyuan with eyes full of gratitude and admiration.

"Ruiyuan, you are amazing!" She excitedly grasped his hand, as if she had grabbed a lifeline.

However, the good times did not last long.

The Zhao family is no pushover.

Soon, a group of bodyguards in black menacingly surrounded Bi Yao and Jiang Ruiyuan's residence.

They were all dressed in black suits, wearing sunglasses, and were burly men; they looked like well-trained thugs.

The bodyguards stood in two neat rows, exuding a chilling murderous aura, like an iron wall surrounding Bi Yao and Jiang Ruiyuan.

Facing a formidable foe, Bi Yao and Jiang Ruiyuan showed no fear whatsoever.

They stood back to back, their gazes fixed firmly on the bodyguards around them, like two ferocious beasts poised to pounce.

"Hmph, you think you can stop us?" Bi Yao sneered, her eyes flashing with cold light.

Jiang Ruiyuan smiled slightly, his eyes filled with confidence and composure.

"Today we'll show you what we're made of!"

The surrounding crowd watched from a distance, not daring to utter a sound.

There was a tense atmosphere in the air, like a taut string that could break at any time.

"Attack!" At the command, the bodyguards pounced on Bi Yao and Jiang Ruiyuan like arrows released from a bow.

The battle is about to begin...

Bi Yao's lips curled up slightly, revealing a mysterious smile: "Come on, let me see what you're really made of!"

Bi Yao flashed, moving like a ghost among the bodyguards.

Each touch was accompanied by a fluctuation of energy.

At first, the bodyguards were aggressive and their moves were deadly.

But soon they discovered that their attack was like throwing a stone into the sea; not only did it fail to harm Bi Yao in the slightest, it made her even stronger.

Bi Yao was surrounded by a faint golden light, her eyes sharp as knives, as if a war god had descended to earth.

"That's it? I thought the Zhao family was something special, but it turns out they're just all show and no substance!" Bi Yao said dismissively, her sarcasm reaching its peak.

Jiang Ruiyuan was not to be outdone. He was agile and his moves were fierce. Every punch he threw carried the force of thunder.

The two worked together seamlessly, like two sharp swords, utterly annihilating the bodyguards.

The bodyguards were beaten black and blue, crying and screaming, making for a rather comical scene.

"Ouch! My teeth! My legs! My back!" The bodyguards' cries of pain rose and fell, like a mournful symphony.

"Yao Yao, you're amazing!" After the battle, Jiang Ruiyuan pulled Bi Yao into his arms, his eyes full of admiration and love.

Bi Yao nestled affectionately in Jiang Ruiyuan's arms, a happy smile on her face.

"Of course, don't you know who I am!" She winked playfully, a hint of smugness in her voice.

The surrounding crowd cast envious glances, marveling at how well-matched this seemingly perfect couple was.

"Ruiyuan, what should we do next?" Bi Yao raised her head and looked at Jiang Ruiyuan with a determined gaze.

"Don't worry, I already have a plan." Jiang Ruiyuan gently stroked Bi Yao's hair, his eyes sparkling with wisdom.

He pulled a piece of paper from his pocket with an address written on it.

“This is…” Bi Yao looked at the address on the note with a puzzled expression. Suddenly, her eyes widened and she gasped.

"Could it be..."

“That’s right.” Jiang Ruiyuan nodded, a mysterious smile playing on his lips.

"Let's go and have a go at Zhao Tianba!"
