Bi Yao and Jiang Ruiyuan held hands tightly, feeling that newborn power that connected them to the world.

Jiang Ruiyuan pulled Bi Yao along and stopped under a huge ancient tree.

He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and felt the flow of energy around him.

Suddenly, a soft light emanated from his body, like the glow of a firefly or the twinkling stars in the night sky.

He gently tossed the ball of light, which traced a perfect arc in the air before landing on a rock.

With a soft "thump," a small dent appeared on the rock, but no debris flew out.

Bi Yao's eyes widened in surprise; her self-control was simply amazing!

"666! As expected of you, Yuan Shen!" Bi Yao clapped excitedly, her eyes sparkling.

Jiang Ruiyuan's intelligence always brings her surprises.

However, this joy did not last long.

Just then, a chilling aura crept in, and the surrounding air instantly froze, as if it had been frozen solid.

"Watch out!" Jiang Ruiyuan pulled Bi Yao behind him and looked around warily.

Suddenly, a cloud of black mist rolled in from the void, moving at an astonishing speed.

From within the black mist, countless black tentacles emerged, sweeping towards them like ghosts.

"What the hell is that?!" Bi Yao exclaimed in surprise and quickly dodged.

These tentacles are incredibly flexible and attack from unpredictable angles, making them impossible to defend against.

Jiang Ruiyuan waved the ball of light in his hand, repelling the approaching tentacles one by one.

However, these tentacles seemed endless, quickly regenerating after being repelled and launching another attack.

They were as if they were in a giant black vortex, surrounded by countless tentacles, with almost no chance to breathe.

"This can't go on!" Bi Yao gritted her teeth, her gaze resolute. "We have to think of a way!"

"Yao Yao..." Jiang Ruiyuan was about to speak when Bi Yao interrupted him.

"I'm glad you're alright." His gentle voice was like a spring breeze caressing Bi Yao's heart.

Feeling the warmth of Jiang Ruiyuan's palm, Bi Yao felt a surge of warmth in her heart, and the corners of her mouth unconsciously turned up slightly.

"God of Abyss, am I super powerful?" She winked playfully, a hint of pride in her voice.

"Yes, you're the best." Jiang Ruiyuan affectionately ruffled her hair, his eyes so tender they could drown a person.

"What is this?" Bi Yao asked, pointing at the symbol with a furrowed brow.

Jiang Ruiyuan's expression was grave. He shook his head. "I don't know, but I have a bad feeling..." He gripped Bi Yao's hand tightly, his eyes resolute. "Let's go take a look."
