Bi Yao and Jiang Ruiyuan looked warily at the unfamiliar space around them, their hearts filled with unease.

Her face was serious, and she leaned forward slightly, ready to deal with any potential danger.

Jiang Ruiyuan held her hand tightly, his face also filled with vigilance.

His gaze was like that of an eagle, sharply sweeping across every corner, as if trying to pierce through this eerie space.

Just then, a strange wind blew by, bringing with it a faint smell of blood.

Bi Yao and Jiang Ruiyuan both frowned and looked in the direction of the wind.

Suddenly, a powerful enemy appeared in the space, its body radiating a power that intertwined darkness and light, like the two poles of the universe constantly colliding.

The enemy was dressed in a long black robe and wore a mask, revealing only a pair of deep eyes that shone with a sharp light.

He was surrounded by dazzling light, which seemed capable of swallowing all other light.

A powerful aura instantly spread, making Bi Yao and Jiang Ruiyuan feel suffocated.

"You've finally arrived, you foolish intruders." The enemy's voice was deep and authoritative, each word like a heavy hammer striking the eardrums of the two men.

Bi Yao and Jiang Ruiyuan exchanged a glance. They quickly adjusted their fighting stance. A ball of light condensed in Bi Yao's palm, and Jiang Ruiyuan's body swelled slightly as his power surged.

"No matter who you are, you will pay the price today!" Bi Yao's voice was firm and powerful.

Jiang Ruiyuan clenched his fists, looked at the enemy, and a cold smile appeared on his lips: "We will not be intimidated by you."

Bi Yao took the first step forward, the light in her hand instantly surging, her eyes filled with determination: "Then let's see if you are stronger, or if we are stronger!"

Caught off guard by the sudden attack, the enemy swayed violently, and a look of astonishment flashed in his eyes behind the mask.

However, the pause lasted only one second.

The enemy quickly regained his footing and let out a deafening roar. The forces of darkness and light intertwined and swirled around him, forming an even more terrifying energy vortex.

"A mere trick!" The enemy scoffed disdainfully, then unleashed a backhand strike with earth-shattering power!

Seeing this, Jiang Ruiyuan did not hesitate to stand in front of Bi Yao and take the blow with his own body.

"Pfft—" A mouthful of blood gushed out, and Jiang Ruiyuan's body flew backward like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily to the ground.

Seeing Jiang Ruiyuan injured, Bi Yao's heart clenched, and a surge of anger burned fiercely within her.

"Jiang Ruiyuan!" She rushed to Jiang Ruiyuan's side, her eyes instantly reddening.

Jiang Ruiyuan was pale, with blood at the corner of his mouth, but he forced a reassuring smile: "I'm fine..." Bi Yao held his hand tightly, tears streaming down her face, her anger erupting like a volcano.

"How are you? Don't scare me!" she choked out, her voice trembling, her heart filled with self-blame and worry.

She raised her head and looked at the enemy, her eyes filled with icy killing intent.

She wiped away her tears, her eyes resolute, and said, word by word, "You're dead!"

Wherever the beam of light passed, space seemed to be torn apart, emitting a piercing shriek, as if it wanted to devour everything.

The enemy's pupils contracted sharply, and his eyes behind the mask finally revealed a look of terror. He had never seen such a powerful force before; the light seemed capable of completely purifying him!

He let out a desperate roar, trying to withstand the devastating attack, but it all seemed so futile.

"Boom!" The beam of light struck the enemy hard, and a violent roar erupted between heaven and earth, as if the entire universe was trembling!

At the center of that light, the enemy's body was instantly disintegrated into countless fragments, completely disappearing into the boundless void.

The light gradually faded, and the space returned to calm.

Bi Yao and Jiang Ruiyuan stood side by side, bathed in the glow of victory. They smiled at each other, and all their fatigue vanished.

They embraced tightly, tears streaming down their faces like broken beads. At that moment, all the hardships and sacrifices were worth it!

"We succeeded!" Bi Yao's voice was slightly choked with emotion, but even more so with pride and joy.

"Yes, we succeeded." Jiang Ruiyuan responded softly, holding Bi Yao tightly, feeling her real warmth, his heart filled with joy.

However, just as they were basking in the joy of victory, Bi Yao suddenly felt the ground beneath her feet begin to tremble violently. The entire mysterious space shook as if it had been hit by an earthquake, and cracks appeared in the space above her head, as if it were about to collapse completely in the next second.

"What's going on?" Jiang Ruiyuan frowned, looking at the constantly cracking space around him with a puzzled expression.

Bi Yao's eyes sharpened, and she grabbed Jiang Ruiyuan's hand, saying urgently, "This place is going to collapse!" Her voice trembled, foreshadowing the impending danger.
