Chapter 224 The Baby is Born

Several days later, the sunlight still streamed through the window onto the desk. Su Yun sat upright at her desk as usual, gazing at the scenery outside the window, as if the tranquil view could make her forget all her troubles.

Just as she was immersed in this moment of tranquility, a white dove, like a white lightning bolt, suddenly flew and landed on the windowsill. The dove's appearance broke the silence; a small bamboo tube was tied to its leg, attracting Su Yun's attention.

Su Yun's heart skipped a beat; she immediately realized that this bamboo tube might be a message from Lu Yao. Her heart began to race involuntarily, and her hands trembled slightly as she carefully opened the bamboo tube.

As she took out the letter, her anxiety grew. She took a deep breath and slowly unfolded the paper, revealing the words: "Brother Lu Zhen has awakened, do not worry."

These few words, though brief, flowed like a clear spring through Su Yun's heart, finally putting her mind at ease. She let out a long sigh of relief, as if all the weight of her body had been lifted in that instant, and her tense nerves relaxed.

Upon learning that Lu Zhen had awakened, Su Yun felt immense relief. She had been deeply worried about Lu Zhen's safety for some time, and this good news brought her a great sense of relief.

Now that Lu Zhen is out of danger, Su Yun feels she can finally rest for a while. The worry and anxiety she's had during this time have left her physically and mentally exhausted, and now she can finally relax and focus on recuperating.

Su Yun decided to take a break to allow her body and mind to fully relax and recover. She needed to conserve her energy and think about how to reshape a new wisp of divine consciousness. This was undoubtedly a daunting task for her, but she firmly believed that as long as she persevered, she would find a way.

Just as Su Yun was lost in her thoughts, a sudden, intense pain surged through her abdomen like a tidal wave. This unexpected pain caught her off guard; her brow furrowed tightly, and a fine layer of sweat appeared on her forehead.

Yueyue, who had been focused on her work, suddenly heard a soft groan from Su Yun. She immediately looked up, her gaze falling on Su Yun. Seeing Su Yun clutching her stomach, her face pale, Yueyue's heart tightened. She quickly went to Su Yun's side and asked with concern, "Sister Su, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

Su Yun bit her lip, trying hard to suppress the pain, and answered with difficulty, "I...I think I'm going into labor..." Her voice trembled, clearly indicating that she was enduring great pain.

Upon hearing this, Yueyue's face turned deathly pale. Her eyes widened in shock. But she quickly regained her composure and realized the urgency of the situation; Su Yun had to be taken to the hospital immediately.

Without hesitation, Yueyue picked up the car keys from the table, then carefully helped Su Yun up and led her to the door. Su Yun's steps were unsteady, each step accompanied by a painful groan.

Yueyue was frantic, but she tried her best to remain calm. She opened the car door, helped Su Yun into the passenger seat, then quickly went around to the driver's seat, started the car, and sped away. On the way, Su Yun called Mu Chen to tell him that she was about to give birth. Mu Chen said anxiously on the other end of the phone, "I'm on my way to the hospital!"

Yueyue drove at breakneck speed to the hospital. Mu Chen's parents also rushed to the hospital as soon as they received the news.

Mu Chen was discussing important matters with everyone in the conference room when he learned that Su Yun was about to give birth. Without hesitation, he left everyone in the room and rushed to the hospital.

When Mu Chen arrived at the hospital, Su Yun had already been wheeled into the operating room. He anxiously changed into sterile clothing and went into the operating room to stay by Su Yun's side.

Time ticked by, and the operating room was filled with tension. Mu Chen held Su Yun's hand tightly, constantly offering her encouragement and comfort.

Finally, after a long wait, the clear cries of a newborn baby echoed from the operating room. Mu Chen and Su Yun were both moved to tears.

When Mu Chen's parents heard the baby crying outside the operating room, they couldn't help but weep with joy. They finally had an heir; the arrival of this little life brought endless joy and hope to the whole family.

Su Yun was gently pushed out by Mu Chen.

Mu Chen smiled slightly, turned around and walked to the door, opened it, and pushed a small cart inside. Inside the cart, three newborns were neatly arranged in a row, wrapped in soft blankets, sleeping soundly.

"Congratulations, Su Yun, the babies are all healthy." Mu Chen's voice revealed undisguised joy. "Two girls and one boy."

The nurse followed her in, her face beaming with a bright smile. She walked to the bedside and said to Su Yun, "Ms. Su, you are truly amazing! These three babies are all very cute and healthy."

Su Yun gazed at the three tiny lives, as if time itself had stood still. Her heart overflowed with boundless happiness and emotion, a feeling as warm and gentle as the spring sun.

She slowly reached out and gently stroked one of the babies' cheeks. The touch was like smooth silk, delicate and soft. The baby seemed to sense its mother's love and moved slightly, which melted Su Yun's heart.

However, in this blissful moment, Su Yun's thoughts drifted far away. She knew her current situation was not optimistic. Although the babies had been safely born, she had not yet found a way to rebuild her consciousness. She worried that if she couldn't complete the rebuilding before her consciousness was recalled, she might be separated from her three adorable babies forever.

Thinking of this, Su Yun felt a sharp pain in her heart. She silently told herself that she must speed up the plan to reshape her consciousness and not let this happen. She wanted to accompany the babies as they grew up, watching them grow little by little, and witnessing every important moment in their lives.

"Thank you, Su Su, you've worked so hard. Thank you for giving the Mu family a new member." Mu's mother's voice interrupted Su Yun's thoughts. She turned her head and saw Mu's mother looking at her with teary eyes. Su Yun smiled and nodded. Although she was so weak she barely had the strength to speak, she still wanted to tell Mu's mother through this smile that it was all worthwhile.

Su Yun was gently wheeled into the ward. She was still very weak and needed to rest for a while to recover. Mu Chen followed closely beside the bed, his face revealing his concern and worry for Su Yun.

The ward was very quiet, with only the faint sound of the medical equipment. Mu Chen carefully sat on the edge of the bed and held Su Yun's hand, as if this could give her some strength and comfort.

Meanwhile, the baby was placed in a VIP cubicle, where a professional postpartum nanny took meticulous care of him. The nanny gently held the baby, softly coaxing him to sleep, ensuring he received the best possible care.

Meanwhile, Yueyue had already returned home and was busy preparing postpartum meals. She knew that Su Yun needed nutritious food to help her body recover, so she carefully selected various ingredients, intending to make a delicious and healthy postpartum meal for Su Yun.
