In this post-apocalyptic world, I unexpectedly became a star galaxy master.

This was during a routine mountain patrol.

Thick, dark clouds suddenly surged up in the sky and rapidly pressed down on the earth, quickly turning the world as dark as night.

At the same time, thunder rumbled incessantly in the air. Thick, purple electric dragons, as thick as tree trunks, roamed across the sky, as if about to cleave the heavens and the earth.

"Pitter-patter," "drip-drip," raindrops the size of eggs pounded the ground, leaving little craters. Soon they gathered again and flowed into a small stream into the distance.

All of this happened too fast, in just a few moments.

The sight before her eyes left Hongtang speechless and shocked. She murmured to herself, "It's August 1st today."

My sister's disaster predictions were quite accurate.

Although the air was still scorching hot, the torrential rain brought an end to the heat.

"Meow!" Ha Ge cried out and jumped into Hong Tang's arms, while Tengteng shrank and wrapped itself around her wrist.

Hongtang looked up at the sky at a 45-degree angle and did not notice this detail.

Now, she wants to use her most beautiful profile to welcome this new round of apocalyptic baptism.

Hongtang flashed out of the space and entered the stone house. Sure enough, she saw countless points of light floating in the air, colorful and beautiful, yet also terrifying.

They fell slowly, quickly blending into everything they touched.

Hago seemed to really like the specks of light, leaping and chasing after them. Hongtang noticed some purple specks of light entering Hago's body, and she became somewhat worried.

"What are these? Will they hurt Brother Ha?"

These are the unknown energy substances I mentioned before, scattered throughout interstellar space. I didn't expect them to arrive so quickly.

Hongtang frowned, hugged Ha Ge in her arms, and stopped it from chasing the light spots.

"You said that these energy substances can bring about both positive and negative evolution. Brother Ha absorbed quite a lot just now, could it be negative evolution?"

The younger sister secretly rolled her eyes. [No, Ha-ge and Tengteng have already completed their "awakening," meaning they have the ability to control energy. Although these energy substances aren't as powerful as the energy within the host's body, they're still a great tonic for Ha-ge and the others. Absorbing them now could very well lead to a second awakening.]

Hongtang's eyes lit up, and she immediately released Hago to let it absorb the nutrients, while also releasing Tengteng. The two little ones then rushed into the downpour and frolicked wildly; anyone who didn't know better would think they'd gone mad.

Meanwhile, the humans of Aquamarine, who had been struggling to survive on the brink of life and death due to a month of extreme heat, finally welcomed the long-awaited cooling and rainfall.

People around the world rushed out of shelters, running, laughing, and embracing in celebration amidst the torrential rain. Some cried and laughed, drinking in the rainwater, thanking the heavens for their mercy, for finally hearing humanity's cries and sending down the life-giving rain to save them from suffering.

But who could have known that this seemingly redemptive downpour was the beginning of another devastating disaster?

As for the "star people" who had already traveled to Aquamarine, although they had luckily escaped the "evolutionary crisis" of Aquamarine, life on their new planet was not as idyllic as they had imagined. Not only did they have to work hard to build the planet, but they also had to face the constant threat of terrifying planetary beasts invading at any time...
