I have the face of a great demon.

"Sect Leader He, what do you mean by this?" Ye Sisi's voice was filled with shock and anger. She hadn't expected He Taichou to do such a thing.

He Taichou sneered, his demeanor exuding an air of absolute confidence.

"What do you mean? These treasures are so precious that they should naturally belong to someone who has the ability to protect them. And that person is me."

"He Taichou, you despicable scoundrel!" Ye Sisi shouted angrily.

"Despicable!" He Taichou sneered. "The Tianhe Sect protected you and rescued you from a thousand-year-old ice seal. Is it not excessive for them to ask your Wuhua Sect for a small reward?"

"But you kept making excuses and refused to bring me to the treasure vault of Wuhua Gate. You even called me despicable."

"Didn't you say you couldn't find the entrance to the forbidden area? How come you found it now?"

Ye Sisi said, "This entrance was found by Tiezhu's master. If Tiezhu hadn't brought me here, I wouldn't have been able to find it either."

He Taichou laughed triumphantly: "Hahahaha, so it was indeed a wise decision of mine to let Tiezhu join the Tianhe Sect."

Ye Sisi suddenly realized: "So you recruited Tie Zhu not because you valued his talent, but because you had other plans."

"I wouldn't say I had any ulterior motives; it was just something I did on a whim. Tie Zhu claims to be a successor of the Wuhua Sect, and I thought I might be able to elicit the secrets of your Wuhua Sect. That's how I successfully lured you into the trap, wasn't it?"

"Hahaha, just like when I lured the great demon to Wuhua Gate, it was just a side effect."

"What?!" Ye Sisi was struck dumb. "You lured the Great Demon to Wuhua Sect?"

He Taichou then realized that he had let something slip and revealed a secret from back then, which caused a great reaction from Ye Sisi.

However, he didn't care.

"That's right, it was I who lured the great demon to Wuhua Sect, which led to the massacre of Wuhua Sect. Since you won't live much longer anyway, I'll tell you the truth of what happened back then. Let you die knowing the truth."

He Taichou really enjoyed seeing others being manipulated by him, yet powerless to break free.

The more this happens, the more it satisfies his perverse pleasure.

A flicker of recollection crossed He Taichou's eyes as he recounted the events of that year in a low voice.

"Back then, the great demon was being hunted down by the ten immortal sects and fled to this area."

"At that time, the Great Demon was covered in wounds and his strength was greatly reduced. Everyone thought this was an excellent opportunity." A greedy glint flashed in He Taichou's eyes. "As long as we kill the Great Demon, we can get the rewards from the Ten Great Immortal Sects and rise to the top in one step."

His voice carried a hint of fanaticism: "Back then, I wasn't the sect leader yet, just an elder of the Tianhe Sect. The sect leader wouldn't let us get involved in this mess, so we secretly organized a group of people to hunt down the great demon, and finally intercepted him on a mountain."

Images from that year flashed through He Taichou's eyes, as if those scenes were right before his eyes.

"Senior brother, please save me!"

He Taichou even abandoned his status as an elder, and upon seeing a disciple of the Wuhua Sect, he immediately cried out for his senior brother to save him.

The disciples of Wuhua Sect recognized He Taichou immediately. The two sects were not far apart, so how could they not recognize each other? They quickly came to his rescue.

However, even He Taichou was no match for him, so the ordinary disciples of Wuhua Sect were naturally no match for the great demon. They were all beheaded in a single move.

He Taichou shouted all the way: "You great demon, how dare you kill so many of our Wuhua Sect disciples! We're not finished with you!"

His voice was filled with anger and grief, as if he were truly a member of the Wuhua Sect.

The great demon was ambushed and killed by a group of people, so he was naturally furious. Now that he felt he had found the real culprit, he was relentlessly pursuing him.

And so, He Taichou led the great demon all the way up to Wuhua Sect. Along the way, Wuhua Sect disciples came to their rescue, but without exception, they all fell into pools of blood.

Soon, the great demon arrived at Wuhua Gate. Seeing that the plaque above the gate indeed read "Wuhua Gate," he concluded that the ambush was organized by Wuhua Gate. He then went berserk and went on a killing spree at Wuhua Gate, causing the tragedy that happened that year.

He Taichou, on the other hand, took the opportunity to escape while the great demon was wreaking havoc.

Ye Sisi listened to He Taichou's words, her heart filled with anger and sorrow.

She couldn't believe that her sect and her home had been destroyed by He Taichou.

Her body trembled slightly with rage, and her eyes burned with the fury of revenge.

"He Taichou, you devil!"

Her voice was almost squeezed out from between her teeth, every word filled with anger and hatred.

He Taichou, however, was completely unconcerned. He reveled in Ye Sisi's anger and despair, and sneered:

"It was precisely because I used the power of the Great Demon to destroy the powerful rival, Wuhua Sect, and made a great contribution that I was qualified to sit in the position of sect leader."

"The only regret was not being able to obtain the treasure vault of the Wuhua Sect. I never expected that my wish would be fulfilled today, and the plan is finally complete."

"He Taichou, you won't have a good ending," Ye Sisi said coldly.

"Heh, maybe. But you won't live to see that day, because you're going to die."

After He Taichou finished speaking, he grabbed Ye Sisi's neck with his hand and slowly increased the pressure.

He wanted to watch Ye Sisi die slowly.

He turned his head with difficulty and saw a man in black robes standing in front of him.

The man in black robes had his back to him, and his robes rustled even without wind, the gold threads on them shimmering with dazzling light.

The dark figure slowly turned around, revealing a face as cold as ice.

Upon seeing this face, He Taichou felt as if he had been struck by lightning.

"This...this...the great demon!!!"
