President, please comfort me.

Chapter 87 Half an hour is too long

At 7 p.m., at the entrance of Lijing Villa in Xiamen.

Tang Chao stood beside the carriage, waiting for the person he had been longing for.

On the way here, Tang Chao sent a message to Lanling. The two hadn't seen each other for a whole week. Although they video chatted every day, it was nothing compared to meeting face to face.

A moment later, Lanling, dressed beautifully, came out from inside, her steps appearing slightly hurried.

"Ah Chao." Lanling spoke with a slightly nasal tone, stepped forward and hugged the man in front of her. Seeing her boyfriend whom she had been thinking about day and night, she felt extremely aggrieved.

They'd only been together for a month, and it was a long-distance relationship; she simply couldn't bear the hardship.

Tang Chao held Lanling's slender waist with one arm and gently rubbed the back of her head with the other. Hearing her voice, he felt extremely tender and said, "Good girl."

The streetlights stand tall like pine trees, casting a warm yellow glow in the night.

The handsome man and beautiful woman hugged each other tightly. After seeing that Lanling's emotions had calmed down a bit, Tang Chao asked, "Would you like to go to the seaside night market?"

Lanling responded, "Yes."

The two got into the car and headed towards Xiamen's most famous seaside night market.

It takes about half an hour to get here, but for some reason, the car stopped on the side of the road less than five minutes after it started moving.

The car was dark, and the light was dim. Lanling looked a little dazed. She turned to Tang Chao and asked, "What's wrong?"

As soon as he spoke, he felt a black fog appear before his eyes. Tang Chao leaned towards the passenger seat. By the time Lanling reacted, he had already lifted her up from her seat and placed her on his lap. The two of them sat facing each other, close together in the driver's seat.

"Half an hour is too long." Tang Chao blurted out this sentence out of the blue, leaving Lanling somewhat confused.

Before she could even ask, Tang Chao suddenly cupped her cheeks in his hands, and the next second, the usually composed man eagerly kissed her.

It took Lanling a while to realize that Tang Chao thought the journey from here to the sea was too far and couldn't wait to get closer to him.

Thinking of this, a sweet feeling welled up in her heart, and the corners of her mouth unconsciously turned up.

When their lips touched, she immediately responded, passionately embracing the kiss.

As night fell, all was quiet except for the occasional car speeding by on the highway. A car was parked on the side of the road, and an ambiguous atmosphere filled the air inside.

The car windows were closed, and the small space was filled with the scent and warmth of the two of them. They embraced tightly, their breaths mingling, and their panting sounds were particularly clear in the silence.

The man gently stroked the woman's face, his eyes filled with tenderness and love. The woman nestled in the man's arms, softly calling him "brother," expressing the deepest feelings in her heart.

"I miss you so much..." Lanling whispered.

“Me too, I think about you every single day,” Tang Chao replied, his tone firm and affectionate.

In this small carriage, they poured out their love and longing for each other, enjoying their rare time together.

Time passed by, and half an hour flew by. Tang Chao slowly raised his head to look at Lanling, his eyes filled with tenderness and satisfaction. He even considerately straightened her clothes.

At this moment, Lanling blushed like a ripe shrimp, shyly lowering her head, not daring to meet Tang Chao's gaze.

Tang Chao smiled gently, seemingly quite satisfied with Lanling's reaction. He carefully carried her back to the passenger seat and helped her sit down.

Then, the car was restarted.

8:30 AM, Beijing.

The plane landed on time at the Xiao Group's helipad.

After getting off the plane, everyone went home. Ye Lin got into her assistant's car and headed straight for the Pearl of the Orient.

Chen Nuo's cooking skills are even better than Wen Qi's. She usually cooks for herself at home. On the last day of class before the holiday, she was inexplicably happy. Although she didn't have a big appetite, she still bought a lot of delicious food to treat herself.

After class, she first went to the supermarket to buy some groceries and daily necessities. When she got home, she spent some time unpacking her luggage. She was busy with this and that when the doorbell rang, she was just putting down her chopsticks and preparing to wash the dishes.

She dried her hands, ignoring her apron, and went to open the door with light steps.

Outside the door, a tall, handsome man was carrying two large bags of snacks, and several large boxes of things were placed at his feet.

Looking at Chen Nuo, who was dressed casually at home, Ye Lin felt much of the day's fatigue instantly fade. He asked with a gentle smile, "What are you doing?"

Chen Nuo's eyes widened, and she quickly stepped aside to let him go first: "I'm washing the dishes, why did you bring so much stuff again?"

Ever since they got the puppy, Ye Lin has been sending people to deliver things to Chen Nuo every few days. If she comes in person, it's even more overwhelming—food, supplies, dog supplies, and her own stuff, the place is overflowing, making it look like a wholesale warehouse.

Chen Nuo felt extremely embarrassed. He had told Ye Lin to listen, but she wouldn't listen and would do it again next time. If he said it too much, he would look pitiful and ask her if she found him annoying and bothering her.

What else could she say? She really couldn't do anything about Ye Lin, and she was afraid of upsetting him like she had done before by refusing to ride in his car.

Ye Lin quickly placed the things in the living room, then turned around and walked back over: "I'm afraid you'll go hungry, so you go in first. It's a bit heavy, I'll carry it."

Ye Lin was incredibly manly; he carried a huge pile of things into the house in less than two minutes without lifting a finger, and even skillfully put them back in their proper places.

Chen Nuo was both amused and exasperated to see how neatly he had arranged everything: "You really shouldn't bring so much stuff next time. We haven't even finished eating what we had last time."

Ye Lin suddenly felt elated. He raised his hand and gently pinched the tender flesh on Chen Nuo's cheek, shaking it back and forth, and smiled warmly: "You're so thin, like a bean sprout. I'll only feel at ease if you eat more."

Seeing the person he had been thinking about day and night, he was in a good mood. He turned around and picked up the puppy to pat its head: "We agreed to take care of Snowball together. I haven't been taking care of it much. I have to make sure it has enough dog food and toys."

When Chen Nuo was pinched like that, the flutter in his heart was like a firework being lit, instantly bursting into brilliant colors.

She felt her face getting hotter and hotter. After all, this was the first time a man had dared to touch her face so openly. Even Yang Xu had never done so.

After a moment of stunned silence, she turned and went into the kitchen with a flushed face, saying angrily, "You're the one who looks like a bean sprout. You can play with it. I'm going to wash the dishes."

Chen Nuo has a well-proportioned and perfect figure, with both a voluptuous and slender physique, exuding elegance like a model and a unique charm.

Ye Lin was teasing her on purpose. Now, judging from her reaction, he knew she was shy. Looking up at her back, he couldn't help but chuckle to himself.

"Look at your mom, she's even embarrassed. Come on, see what good stuff Dad bought for you." Ye Lin whispered to the dog while opening the new screaming chicken toy he had bought for it.
