President, please comfort me.

Chapter 10 Holding it is uncomfortable

Achen: "Okay, okay."

Half an hour later, the food arrived at 10 p.m. Ah Chen ordered food from Quan Yue Xuan, a very famous hotel in the capital. The aroma of the food was so enticing that even a non-starving person would probably eat two bowls of rice just from smelling it.

The bedroom door was ajar. Xiao He walked straight in and stood at the head of the bed. He saw Wen Qi lying face down on the pillow, her left hand on the pillow with her chin resting on it, and her right arm under the pillow, holding a phone and watching a mukbang video.

Wen Qi usually doesn't go to sleep until after midnight. At this time, she can't sleep and is hungry, so she thinks watching mukbang videos can be a way to quench her thirst.

Xiao He stood there for a while, then looked at her with a mixture of amusement and exasperation: "Let's go eat."

Wen Qi was very timid and was so frightened that she dropped her phone. She turned around and looked back at him with a puzzled expression.

"I've ordered food, I'm hungry, come with me to get something to eat."

Wen Qi picked up her phone, stuck out her tongue, and licked her lips: "Okay."

She carefully turned over, and as soon as she turned around, Xiao He went up and picked her up. As expected, Wen Qi blushed again.

As Xiao He walked, he kept looking down at her. He hadn't thought much of it at first, but her actions made him feel like a beast. He asked in a hoarse voice, "What are you shy about?"

Wen Qi felt guilty, her eyes darting around as she stared at his arm: "No, I didn't."

"Not blushing like a monkey's bottom."

Wen Qi really didn't know how to talk to him about this, and felt quite embarrassed. She urged, "Oh, let's go quickly, I'm hungry."

Xiao retorted without any politeness: "Didn't you just say you weren't hungry?"

Feeling embarrassed by his directness, Wen Qi pretended to be angry and pouted, "Then put me down, I won't eat anymore."

Xiao He was afraid that she would become stubborn again and refuse to eat, so he didn't dare to tease her anymore: "Okay, okay, I won't say anything more."

The two ordered eight dishes and a soup, plus two desserts. After they sat down, Xiao He took the initiative to serve her food: "Eat more, you're too thin, all bones, it's hard to hold you."

Wen Qi was really hungry and wasn't really listening to him. Her mouth was stuffed full, and she spoke unclearly: "It's alright, there's meat in it, okay?"

Xiao He looked her up and down, his eyes finally settling on her chest. He said in a lazy, meaningful tone, "Hmm, not bad."

Wen Qi was a little confused by his sudden change in attitude and couldn't figure out what he was thinking. She decided not to delve too deeply into such an ambiguous topic, so she pursed her lips, didn't respond, and continued to eat with her head down.

After they had eaten and drunk their fill, Xiao He pushed both desserts in front of her: "Eat up."

It was a durian mille-feuille cake and a taro box. Oh my god, Winky loves durian and taro, but she was too embarrassed to eat it all by herself, so she just grabbed one and said, "Let's eat together."

Xiao He wasn't particularly fond of sweets, but he still took a spoon and gave Mian'er a bite: "You eat it, your mouth is watering."

Wen Qi didn't stand on ceremony. After finishing one, she took the other and said to Xiao He, "I'll take this to my room to eat later."

"Okay, let's go back to the room then."

After the two went upstairs, Wen Qi lay on the bed and hid under the covers to read a novel.

After working in the living room for a while, Xiao He came in to talk to Wen Qi. He didn't see her, but there was a bulging ball in the bed: "The company has already arranged leave for you. Go back to work after you've rested. I'll take care of everything else, so you don't need to worry."

Wen Qi peeked out from under the covers and thanked them earnestly: "Okay, I understand, thank you."

"Go to bed early. Didn't the doctor tell you to rest more? You're still playing on your phone."

Wen Qi was engrossed in watching and just wanted to get rid of him as soon as possible, so she yawned and said perfunctorily, "Yeah, I'm going to sleep now, goodnight."

Xiao He glanced at her, then walked out. After a restless night, it was time to sleep.

Fortunately, Wenqi didn't have the habit of getting up at night, and the two slept until dawn. When Wenqi woke up, it was already ten o'clock. Xiao He had already gone to work. Aunt Zhang was waiting in the small living room in Wenqi's room. As soon as she heard the noise, she immediately came to knock on the door.

"Madam, are you getting up? The master said you twisted your back and asked me to come and take care of you. Shall I come in?"

"Well, come in."

Aunt Zhang helped Wen Qi to the bathroom to wash up, then pushed a wheelchair over: "This was prepared by the master."

Wen Qi got in, and Aunt Zhang pushed her down the elevator to the restaurant for dinner.

Wen Qi was surprised to find there was an elevator; she should have known better than to carry the suitcase by hand that day.

Breakfast was plentiful, with both Chinese and Western options. Aunt Zhang carefully served Wen Qi soup, smiling as she said, "Madam, this morning my husband specifically asked me to stew some soups that are good for your back injury recovery. Please try this Codonopsis pilosula and jujube black chicken soup and the crucian carp soup."

When Wen Qi heard that it was Xiao He who gave the order, her heart warmed and the corners of her mouth turned up. It seemed that he was quite thoughtful. She took a sip of soup and thought it was pretty good: "Hmm, it's quite delicious. Aunt Zhang, you can still call me Xiao Qi. There's no need to be so polite."

Aunt Zhang dared not address the host like that, especially when she thought of Xiao He's meticulous face, she stammered with a troubled expression.

Seeing her like this, Wen Qi didn't know what to say, so she smiled and said, "Never mind, just call her Madam then. Maybe you'll get used to it in a few days."

Aunt Zhang immediately beamed with joy: "Yes, madam."

Halfway through the meal, Aunt Zhang's phone rang; it was Xiao He.

Aunt Zhang quietly cleared her throat, then cautiously answered the call, greeting him respectfully, "Hello, sir."

Xiao He asked in a deep voice, "Is Madam awake?"

"I'm up, having breakfast."

"Give her the phone."

"Okay." Aunt Zhang handed over the phone.

Wen Qi didn't need to guess; it was definitely Xiao He. She took the phone and put it to her ear: "Hello."

Xiao asked gently, "How are you feeling? Are you feeling better?"

"Well, much better."

"Tell Aunt Zhang what you want to eat. I have an urgent meeting this afternoon and won't be back until tonight."

"Mom called me this morning. I don't know where she got the news, but she knew you twisted your back and was in a hurry to come see you. I told her you were sleeping and she wouldn't be able to help much even if she came..."

Xiao He coughed and explained, "The main reason is that we sleep in separate rooms. If she comes, it will expose us, so we didn't let her. We'll go back to the Governor's Mansion for dinner after you've recovered."

"Okay, I'll call Mom back later." Although Wen Qi didn't want to call Tang Hui "Mom" in front of Xiao He, lest he think she lacked self-awareness, she couldn't worry about that since Aunt Zhang was still there.

After hanging up the phone, Wen Qi picked up her phone and saw the message Zhou Zhou had sent her, asking how she was doing and if she was feeling better. After replying, she called Tang Hui.

Tang Hui's voice was full of worry: "Xiao Qi, how are you?"

Wen Qi said in a light tone, "Mom, I'm fine. I'll be better after a few days of rest. Once I'm better, Ahe and I will come home to have dinner with you and Dad."

"Okay, it's good that you're alright. If you need anything, just tell Ahe or Mom, okay?"

"I understand, Ah-He has arranged everything for me, so don't worry."

"Okay, then you should rest more and use your phone less."

"Ok."

After hanging up the phone, Wen Qi returned to her room and played on her phone. A day goes by quickly, and in the blink of an eye, it was already five o'clock in the afternoon.

Xiao He declined his social engagements and, unusually, left work early to return to Chunfengli.

Not seeing Wen Qi in the living room on the first floor, he went upstairs to change his clothes and then walked to her room with practiced ease.
