"Watch out!" Xu Hao shouted, charging forward with his sword. The baby skeleton followed closely behind, blocking his path.

Zi Yu reacted quickly, raising her wand and beginning to chant a spell. A dazzling bolt of lightning shot from the tip of the wand, striking the monk zombie precisely in the chest. The zombie let out a shrill howl and staggered to the ground.

Just as the two breathed a sigh of relief, several more ordinary zombies swarmed in from all directions. These zombies were slow-moving but extremely tenacious; even if they were cut down, they could quickly get up and continue their attack.

Zi Yu unleashed several lightning spells in succession, finally knocking down one of the zombies. But to her surprise, the zombie slowly stood up again.

"Brother Xu Hao, what's going on?" Zi Yu asked in confusion.
