Its speed was astonishing; its massive body left a blurry trail in the air. Its tentacles slapped the ground, propelling it forward and leaving a trail of slippery marks. The air was torn apart by its high-speed movement, emitting a sharp whistling sound.

The monster clearly realized it wouldn't win today, and it threw itself entirely into the escape, its eyes fixed on the door that represented freedom. It knew that as long as it rushed through that door, it could regain its freedom and escape this terrifying adversary.

"Trying to run?!" Xu Hao growled, like a wounded beast. He felt his magic power rapidly draining away, and the scenery before him began to blur, but he still stared intently at the monster, his eyes filled with madness and resentment.

"Too late!" Xu Hao roared, enduring the waves of dizziness in his mind. His hands trembled as he recklessly flung out soul fire talismans, which rained down on the enormous creature like dense raindrops.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" The violent explosions echoed in the abandoned factory. The eerie blue flames almost dyed the entire space an eerie blue. Heat waves rolled and air currents surged, blowing debris all around in all directions.

The tentacle monster writhed in agony in the flames, letting out mournful howls. Its massive body was covered in charred marks, and dark green liquid mixed with the flames emitted a nauseating, burnt smell.

However, just when Xu Hao thought victory was assured, the monster suddenly stopped struggling. It abruptly raised its head, and a cunning glint flashed in its scarlet eyes.

"This is bad!" Alarm bells rang in Xu Hao's mind, and a strong sense of unease surged into his heart.

The next moment, the monster suddenly leaped up and broke through the blockade of flames, rushing towards the factory gate.

Xu Hao suddenly looked up and saw a familiar figure standing there, blocking the monster's path.

It's Shi Shaowei!

"Finally here!" Xu Hao breathed a sigh of relief. He knew that with Shi Shaowei around, this monster wouldn't be able to escape.

Looking at the enormous thing in front of him, Shi Shaowei's lips curled up slightly, revealing a disdainful smile.

"You beast, where are you going this time?"

Shi Shaowei stood before the monster, his eyes blazing. Suddenly, he caught a glimpse of a skeleton standing to the side, and his entire body tensed, instantly assuming a fighting stance.

Shi Shaowei nodded and assumed a fighting stance. The skeleton also stood silently to the side, ready to obey Xu Hao's commands at any time. The three of them formed an encirclement, trapping the tentacle monster in the middle.

Xu Hao slumped to the ground, exhausted, while Shi Shaowei leaned against the wall, panting heavily. Only the skeleton warrior remained standing upright, as if the fierce battle had had no effect on it whatsoever.
