Upon hearing Lin Wan'er's name, Zhao Zilong smiled and asked, "What do you call her?"

Lin Ya said, "Her name is Lin Wan'er. She's my father's only daughter. She used to study in America, but later got into Yenching University and stayed there. My mother lived in America for five or six years and is now retired, so we brought her back to Yenching."

Zhao Zilong laughed and said, "You two really are destined to meet."

Lin Ya smiled and said, "My father is a local bigwig in Yanjing, and my relationship with her is fairly good."

Zhao Zilong smiled and said, "Then you must be very happy."

Lin Ya nodded and said, "Yes, my dad is very good to me. My mom doesn't have much education, but she's very good at making money. She buys me lots of delicious food every day, and I don't even want to eat it all."

Zhao Zilong said, "You're doing the right thing. Don't sacrifice your health just to save money; it's very harmful to your body."

"Yes, thank you, brother-in-law."

Lin Ya said with a smile, "Brother-in-law, you've really worked hard these past few days. You've been taking care of Sister Wan'er all this time."

"Not at all, Wan'er is my wife, it's only right that I take care of her," Zhao Zilong said with a smile.

“My sister likes you very much,” Lin Ya said.

Zhao Zilong smiled and said, "I know, we're old acquaintances."

Lin Ya nodded slightly.

Zhao Zilong said, "By the way, the reason I came to Yanjing this time is actually to give you a surprise."

Lin Ya was taken aback and asked, "What surprise?"

Zhao Zilong smiled, took an invitation from his pocket, and handed it to Lin Ya, saying, "Take a look."

Lin Ya took the invitation and examined it carefully.

Zhao Zilong looked over at the sound and saw Lin Wan'er chasing after Lin Ya, the two of them running out of the villa area, arguing all the way.

Lin Wan'er chased after him, shouting as she did so, tears streaming down her face.

Lin Ya ran while crying, until she reached the highway.

As soon as Lin Ya stopped, Lin Wan'er rushed over, hugged Lin Ya, and burst into tears, saying, "Sister, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, please forgive me?"

Lin Ya cried, "Sister, I didn't want this to happen either. But I really love him so much, I want to marry him and be his bride. Waaah..."
