Chapter 177 Sky Cloak
Su Ming and the mysterious woman nodded. They knew that cracking the mirror's secret required patience and time, just like untangling a complex ball of yarn—it couldn't be rushed.
Over the next few days, Li Ming devoted himself entirely to studying the mirror.
He spent his days in the library, examining a large number of ancient books, some of which were yellowed and exuded an old, worn feel. He also visited many experts and discussed the symbols on the mirror with them, but he found no clues about the mirror.
However, Li Ming did not give up despite repeated failures.
He firmly believed that as long as he persevered, he would surely find a way to unlock the secret of the mirror, just like in a dark tunnel, as long as you keep moving forward, you will surely find the light at the exit.
Finally, in the quiet of the night, Li Ming excitedly found Su Ming and the mysterious woman.
His face was beaming with a joyful smile, a smile as radiant and dazzling as a flower blooming in spring.
"I found it!" Li Ming said excitedly, his voice trembling slightly with excitement.
Upon hearing this, Su Ming and the mysterious woman excitedly gathered around, their eyes sparkling with anticipation.
“The symbols on this mirror are an ancient language,” Li Ming explained. “After extensive research, consulting countless materials, and asking many reclusive scholars, I finally deciphered its meaning.”
"What does it say?" Su Ming asked eagerly, his voice filled with anticipation, as if waiting for fate to reveal itself.
“It contains the instructions on how to enter that miracle,” Li Ming said. “As long as we follow the instructions, we can find the exact location of the Sky Cloak.”
Both Su Ming and the mysterious woman were thrilled upon hearing this.
They finally found a way to solve the problem, and were one step closer to the Sky Cloak, as if the dawn of victory was already shining not far away.
With Li Ming's help, Su Ming and the mysterious woman began making intensive preparations for entering the miracle.
They gathered all sorts of necessary items, from ancient magic scrolls to mysterious magic gems, each of which could play a crucial role at a critical moment; they also devised a detailed plan, with every detail repeatedly discussed and refined to ensure that nothing went wrong.
"This time, we must succeed," Su Ming said firmly, his eyes filled with determination as hard as steel, as if no difficulty could stop him from moving forward.
With everything ready, Su Ming, the mysterious woman, and their companions once again embarked on their adventure.
They set off towards the mysterious, misty wonderland, filled with both anticipation—hoping to find the Sky Cloak and unlock the secrets hidden in this world—and tension—for unknown dangers and challenges awaited them.
When they finally arrived at the entrance to the miracle, a powerful and mysterious force rushed towards them, like a surging tide, carrying an endless sense of oppression.
The entrance was shrouded in a thick fog, so dense it was like ink that couldn't be dissolved, making it impossible to see what was inside, as if it were guarding a shocking secret.
"Everyone be careful," Su Ming said, and he was the first to step into the fog.
His figure gradually blurred in the mist, but his steps remained firm and powerful.
His companions followed closely behind him, proceeding cautiously.
Strange sounds could be heard from time to time in the mist, sometimes like a low roar, sometimes like a sharp wail, which made people's hair stand on end and every step felt like stepping on a knife.
Suddenly, a huge stone gate appeared in front of us.
The stone gate was covered with the same symbols as those on the mirror, which emitted a mysterious light in the darkness, as if telling an ancient story.
“This is it,” Su Ming said, and he began to manipulate the symbols on the stone door according to the instructions on the mirror.
His fingers slid lightly across the symbols as he silently prayed for everything to go well.
As Su Ming operated the mechanism, the stone door slowly opened, emitting a muffled sound. An ancient and mysterious aura rushed out, carrying with it the vicissitudes of time and a mysterious power.
"Let's go in," Su Ming said, taking a deep breath.
Although his voice was calm, it couldn't hide his nervousness and anticipation.
The group entered through the stone gate, which led to a huge space.
The walls around the room were covered with all sorts of strange patterns and characters. Some of the patterns looked like mysterious creatures, while others looked like strange symbols, as if they were telling a story of a forgotten ancient history.
In the center of this space, there is a huge stone platform.
On the stone platform lay a glittering object, the Sky Cloak they had been searching for.
The cloak emitted a soft glow, as if beckoning them.
"Finally found it!" Su Ming said excitedly, and he walked quickly toward the stone platform.
His heart was filled with joy, as if all his efforts had been rewarded at this moment.
However, just as they were about to reach the Sky Cloak, a group of mysterious creatures suddenly emerged from all directions.
These creatures were enormous, more than two people tall, with ferocious faces, baring their teeth and claws, and emitting deafening roars.
Their eyes gleamed red, filled with aggression.
"Watch out, enemies!" Su Ming shouted. He quickly drew his longsword from his waist and he and his companions immediately assumed a fighting stance.
Eric gripped his greatsword, Lina began to gather her magic, and Tom nocked an arrow. Their eyes were filled with vigilance and determination as they prepared for this new battle. Despite the strength of the enemy, they were fearless.
The largest of the mysterious creatures was the leader. It swung its thick arms, creating a strong gust of wind, and slammed it towards Su Ming.
Su Ming dodged to the side, skillfully avoiding the attack, and at the same time swung his sword to stab at the creature's arm.
The blade sliced through, leaving only a shallow mark; the creature's skin was as hard as iron.
Seeing this, Lina chanted a spell, and a powerful ice spell shot towards the mysterious horde of creatures.
Instantly, the ground in front was covered with ice, and some mysterious creatures slipped and fell to the ground.
But soon, they struggled to their feet and continued to approach the group.
Eric roared and charged toward a mysterious creature, raising his greatsword high and bringing it down with tremendous force.
The creature stretched out its arm to block, and Eric's greatsword struck its arm, sparks flying, but it failed to sever the arm.
The mysterious creature threw a punch, which Eric couldn't dodge in time. He was hit in the shoulder and flew several meters backward.
Su Ming was extremely anxious. While fending off the attacks of the mysterious creatures, he searched for their weaknesses.
