Keyboard Warrior's Otherworldly Adventure

Chapter 98 The Forbidden Land of the Elves

"So noisy..." Li Jin repeated, rubbing his eyes with his small hands, seemingly still half asleep. Golden liquid continued to gush from his mouth, spreading across the ground with a sickening corrosive sound. The leader of the men in black swallowed hard, his legs trembling as he watched the approaching liquid.

"What...what kind of monster is this brat?" he cried out in terror, his voice trembling. The other men in black also retreated, afraid of being stained by the golden liquid.

Sophie and Xiaomei were also stunned; they had never seen such a bizarre scene before. Li Jin, this seemingly harmless baby, actually possessed such terrifying power?

"Ugh..." Li Jin spat out another mouthful of golden liquid, this time spraying it directly at the feet of the black-clad leader. The black-clad leader was terrified and jumped back hastily, but it was too late. The golden liquid splashed onto his shoes, instantly corroding them completely, revealing his charred toes.

"Ah!" The leader of the men in black let out a scream, clutching his foot and rolling on the ground.

The other men in black were terrified at the sight and dropped their weapons, turning and running away.

"Don't...don't run!" The leader of the men in black, enduring the pain, shouted to his fleeing subordinates, "Kill him! Kill this little monster!"

But no one listened to his orders anymore; the men in black had long since vanished.

Sophie and Xiaomei looked at each other, unsure of what to say.

Li Jin yawned, rubbed his eyes, and said in a childish voice, "Sister Sophie, Sister Xiaomei, let's go."

Sophie and Xiaomei then came to their senses and quickly went to help Li Jin up.

"Li Jin, are you...are you alright?" Sophie asked with concern.

"It's nothing," Li Jin blinked. "I'm just a little hungry."

"Hungry?" Xiaomei was taken aback. "You just... threw up so much, and you're still hungry?"

"Hmm." Li Jin nodded. "I just threw up all the bad stuff, so my stomach is empty now, of course I'm hungry."

Sophie and Xiaomei exchanged a glance, both seeing deep shock in each other's eyes. Just who was this Li Jin?

The three continued deeper into the cave. Along the way, Sophie told Li Jin about the power of the golden liquid he had just spat out. Li Jin was also quite surprised after hearing it.

"Wow, I'm that amazing?" He patted his belly, looking smug.

"Li Jin, did you...did you know you had this ability before?" Xiao Mei asked cautiously.

"I don't know." Li Jin shook his head. "I used to be... just a keyboard warrior."

"Keyboard warriors?" Sophie and Xiaomei were even more puzzled.

"It's...the kind of person who comments online and gives unsolicited advice," Li Jin explained.

Sophie and Xiaomei: "..."

They never imagined that a keyboard warrior could possess such terrifying power.

As we walked, a fork in the road suddenly appeared ahead.

"Which way do we go?" Xiaomei asked.

Sophie hesitated for a moment, then said, "Let's go to the right."

"Why?" Xiaomei asked, puzzled.

"Intuition," Sophie said calmly, "a woman's intuition."

Xiao Mei: "..."

The three walked to the right. They hadn't gone far when a stone gate suddenly appeared ahead. Strange runes were carved on the gate, emanating an ancient and mysterious aura.

"Where is this place?" Li Jin asked curiously.

"A forbidden area for the elves," Sophie said. "Legend has it that sacred relics of the elves are sealed here."

"A sacred object?" Li Jin's eyes lit up. "What kind of sacred object is it?"

"I don't know," Sophie shook her head. "No one has ever gone in."

"Shall we go in and take a look?" Li Jin asked eagerly.

"No!" Sophie quickly stopped her. "It's dangerous here, we can't go in."

"But... I want to go inside and take a look," Li Jin said, pouting.

Sophie felt somewhat helpless. She knew Li Jin's personality; once he made up his mind, it was difficult to change it.

"Okay," Sophie sighed, "but you must stay close to us and don't wander off."

"Mhm." Li Jin nodded quickly.

Sophie walked to the stone door and placed her hand on it. The runes on the stone door suddenly lit up, emitting a dazzling light.

Then, the stone door slowly opened, revealing a dark cave entrance.

A chilling aura emanated from the cave entrance, causing Sophie and Xiaomei to shiver.

"Let's go." Sophie took a deep breath and stepped into the cave entrance first.

Xiao Mei hugged Li Jin and followed closely behind.

The cave entrance was pitch black; you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. Sophie and Xiaomei could only proceed cautiously, relying on their faint senses.

Suddenly, Li Jin pointed ahead and said in his childish voice, "Look, there's light over there!"

Sophie and Xiaomei looked in the direction Li Jin was pointing and sure enough, they saw a faint light ahead.

The three quickened their pace and walked towards the light.

As the distance grew closer, the light became brighter.

Finally, they arrived at the source of the light.

It was a vast underground space, and in the center of it stood a massive altar. On the altar sat a...baby bottle?, radiating a golden light.
