Cracks in the walls spread rapidly like a spiderweb, gravel rained down, and the ceiling emitted a groaning sound that made your teeth ache. The alarm in the room blared and pierced, making your eardrums ache.

"Holy crap! What's going on?!" Zhang Hao yelled, hurriedly hiding under the table, not forgetting to tug at Sophie's skirt, "Your Highness, be careful not to expose yourself!"

Sophie was startled by Zhang Hao's sudden movement and almost fell. She steadied herself, her pretty face slightly flushed, and glared at him, annoyed: "What kind of time is this, and you're still thinking about this!"

Holding the mysterious chip in one hand and protecting Sophie with the other, Li Jin solemnly observed his surroundings. "This commotion doesn't seem like a typical explosion… it's more like some kind of spatial fluctuation…"

Old Wang, leaning on his cane, walked shakily to the window, his cloudy eyes looking out. The once clear sky was now shrouded in an eerie red, and a suffocating sense of oppression filled the air.

"Oh no! It's Linna! She's activated the spatial confinement array!" Old Wang's face changed drastically, his voice trembling. "We're trapped!"

"A spatial confinement array?!" Li Jin's heart sank. Although he didn't understand magic, he knew it was definitely not a good thing.

"Once this magic array is fully activated, we'll be trapped in this space and never be able to get out!" Old Wang stamped his feet anxiously. "Moreover, Linna can enter here at any time through the magic array!"

"Damn it! This woman is really persistent!" Zhang Hao peeked out from under the table, cursing, "Old Li, do you have any way to crack this thing with your crappy system?"

Li Jin gave a wry smile: "The system isn't responding at all right now; it's probably being interfered with by this magic array."

Just then, a black vortex appeared out of thin air in the room, emanating a chilling energy fluctuation. At the center of the vortex, a figure dressed in a black robe slowly emerged.

Linna, she's here.

She looked at the chip in Li Jin's hand, a cold smile playing on her lips: "Looks like you've received my little gift."

"Lin Na!" Li Jin clenched his fists, his eyes burning with rage. "What exactly do you want?!"

"What do I want?" Linna chuckled, a crazed glint in her eyes. "I want the power within you! I want to control this world!"

"Dream on!" Li Jin met her gaze without flinching. "You won't succeed!"

"Is that so?" Lin Na's eyes turned cold, and she raised her hand, sending a black energy beam straight towards Li Jin.

Li Jin reacted quickly, shoving Sophie aside and dodging the attack himself. The energy beam struck the wall with a deafening roar, blasting a huge crater.

"Li Jin!" Sophie exclaimed, rushing to Li Jin's side and asking with concern, "Are you alright?"

Li Jin shook his head, his expression growing even more serious. Lin Na's strength was far greater than he had imagined, and she seemed to know a great deal about his power, which made him uneasy.

"Zhang Hao, Lao Wang, protect Sophie!" Li Jin said in a deep voice, then rushed towards Lin Na without hesitation.

He knew that this battle was inevitable.

Although Zhang Hao was usually carefree and irresponsible, he was decisive in crucial moments. He grabbed Sophie and pulled her behind him, while simultaneously pulling a strangely shaped weapon from his backpack and aiming it at Lin Na.

"Your Highness, don't be afraid! With Brother Hao here, no one can hurt you!" He winked casually, but his hand holding the weapon trembled slightly.

Old Wang also raised his cane, muttering incantations, and a pale blue light enveloped Sophie, forming a protective barrier.

Linna looked at the three of them and sneered disdainfully, "Overestimating yourselves!"

She raised her hand again, and black energy condensed into a huge sphere in her hand, radiating a suffocating pressure.

"Go to hell!"

The energy sphere hurtled toward Li Jin at an astonishing speed.

Li Jin knew that he absolutely could not dodge this attack.

At this critical moment, a figure suddenly appeared in front of him, blocking the energy sphere.

It's Sophie.

A pale blue light shone on her body, forming a solid barrier that withstood the impact of the energy sphere.

"Sophie!" Li Jin's eyes widened in fury.

Sophie was pale, and a trickle of blood seeped from the corner of her mouth, but she gave Li Jin a gentle smile: "Don't worry... I'm fine..."

As soon as she finished speaking, the light emanating from her body suddenly shattered, and she collapsed limply to the ground…
