The pattering rain tapped against the windowpane, blurring the city's neon lights. Ten years have slipped through his fingers. Li Jin, once a keyboard warrior, is now a successful writer. His "Keyboard Warrior's Otherworldly Adventure" series remains a bestseller in bookstores.

"Dad, can that website you mentioned really take you to another world?" A childish voice broke the silence of the study. A chubby-cheeked little boy was clinging to Li Jin's chair, staring curiously at the computer screen.

“Of course it’s true,” Li Jin ruffled his son Li Xiang’s fluffy hair, “but it’s no longer valid.” On the screen, the familiar time-travel system interface was still there, but the activation button had turned gray, like a sleeping giant.

"What a pity," Li Xiang pouted, "I also want to go on an adventure in another world!"

Amy walked in carrying two cups of hot milk, smiling as she said, "When you grow up, Daddy will take you there." She handed the milk to Li Jin, gazing tenderly at the father and son. The years had left faint lines on her face, but they only added to her mature charm.

"Dad, were you really as powerful as they say in the novels when you were in that other world?" Li Xiang took the milk and gulped it down, his eyes sparkling with admiration.

"Ahem," Li Jin cleared his throat and said modestly, "It's just so-so, mainly because I was lucky." He secretly glanced at Amy and found her looking at him with a half-smile, which made him feel a little uneasy.

"Tch, I don't believe it!" Li Xiang curled his lip. "Mom said you were a great hero in another world!"

“Your mother is right,” Li Jin said, giving Amy a meaningful look. “Back in the day, your old man…”

Just as Li Jin was about to start boasting about his "heroic deeds," the system interface on the computer screen suddenly flickered, and the gray activation button lit up again!

"Holy crap!" Li Jin couldn't help but curse. "What's going on?"

Amy and Li Xiang were also startled by this sudden change.

"Dad, the time-travel system seems to have restarted!" Li Xiang exclaimed excitedly. "Can we go to another world now?"

Li Jin stared at the screen, his brow furrowed. A sense of unease crept into his heart. This transmigration system had been dormant for ten years; why had it suddenly restarted? Had something happened in the other world again?

"Jin, what do you think?" Amy also noticed Li Jin's unusual behavior.

“I don’t know either,” Li Jin shook his head. “I just feel like things aren’t that simple.”

"Who cares!" Li Xiang grabbed Li Jin's hand. "Dad, let's go on an adventure in another world!"

Looking at his son's expectant eyes, Li Jin hesitated for a moment, but finally nodded.

"Alright, let's go and see what this other world looks like now."

He took a deep breath and clicked the activation button.

A familiar dizzying sensation followed, and Li Jin and his family of three were engulfed by a white light.

When they opened their eyes again, they found themselves in a desolate desert.

Under the blazing sun, yellow sand filled the sky, and a scorching atmosphere permeated the air.

"Holy crap, what kind of place is this?" Li Jin couldn't help but exclaim. "This is completely different from the other world from ten years ago!"

"Dad, look!" Li Xiang exclaimed, pointing to a towering black tower that seemed to reach into the clouds in the distance. "What's that?"

Li Jin looked in the direction Li Xiang was pointing and saw that the tower was completely black, exuding an eerie aura, like a lurking beast silently watching them.

“I have a feeling… this isn’t good…” A strong sense of unease rose in Li Jin’s heart.

Suddenly, a gust of wind swept in, and yellow sand flew everywhere, obscuring the sky and the sun.

A huge black shadow fell from the sky and crashed heavily in front of them.

Once the dust settled, Li Jin saw the true face of the shadowy figure.

It was a massive black scorpion, its carapace gleaming with a metallic sheen, its enormous pincers sharp as knives, and its stinger emitting a ghostly green glow.

"Holy crap!" Li Jin couldn't help but swear. "What is this thing?!"

The giant scorpion let out a deafening roar and lunged at them, brandishing its pincers.

"Run!" Li Jin scooped up Li Xiang and pulled Amy along as they ran.

The giant scorpion pursued them relentlessly, its speed astonishing, closing in on them in the blink of an eye.

"Amy, take Li Xiang and hide over there!" Li Jin handed Li Xiang to Amy. "I'll hold it off!"

Amy knew this wasn't the time to be sentimental. She took Li Xiang and ran off into the distance without looking back.

Li Jin turned to face the giant scorpion, took a deep breath, and a resolute glint flashed in his eyes.

"Come on, you beast! Let me see how powerful you really are!"

He clenched his fist, and the power within him began to surge...

The otherworldly energy within Li Jin's body merged with the tempering he had undergone in reality over the past ten years, unleashing unprecedented power. He was no longer the keyboard warrior who only knew how to talk big, but a true warrior. In a flash, he struck first, landing a punch on the giant scorpion's pincers.

The giant scorpion cried out in pain. Li Jin seized the opportunity, attacking the scorpion with both fists and feet like a storm. Although the giant scorpion's massive body had amazing defensive capabilities, it gradually showed signs of weakness under Li Jin's fierce attacks.

In the distance, Amy, holding Li Xiang, hid behind a boulder, nervously watching the battle. Li Xiang gripped Amy's hand tightly, his eyes filled with worry: "Mommy, will Daddy win?"

Amy forced a calm smile: "Of course! Your dad is the best!"

The battle between Li Jin and the giant scorpion reached its climax. He discovered the scorpion's weakness was its abdomen, so he seized the opportunity and delivered a powerful punch to the scorpion's belly. The giant scorpion let out a shrill scream, and its massive body crashed to the ground.

Li Jin remained vigilant, knowing the giant scorpion was incredibly resilient and needed to be completely eliminated. He gathered all his strength, preparing to deliver the final blow.

At this moment, a sudden change occurred.

The towering black tower suddenly emitted a dazzling light, and a powerful suction force pulled Li Jin, the giant scorpion, and everything around them toward the tower.

Li Jin felt dizzy and lost consciousness.

When he woke up again, he found himself in an unfamiliar room. The room was lavishly decorated and filled with a sense of technology.

A mysterious figure dressed in a black robe stood before him, a sinister smile on his face: "Welcome, Li Jin. I've been waiting for you for a long time."

"Who are you?" Li Jin asked warily.

“I am the master of this world,” the mysterious man said slowly, “and also your… creator.”

The mysterious man removed his hood, revealing a familiar face.

It was Jack!

“Jack? How could it be you?” Li Jin looked at him in disbelief.

"Surprised?" Jack's smile was laced with malice. "Ten years ago, your transmigration to this other world was actually orchestrated by me. And now, I will control the entire other world, and... the real world!"

It turns out that Jack was the mastermind behind all of this. He used Li Jin to activate the energy of the other world and secretly manipulated everything.

Li Jin then realized that he had always been just a pawn in Jack's game.

He was unwilling to accept this, and he wanted to rebel!

A new battle is about to begin...

In the end, Li Jin, with his wisdom and courage, joined forces with Sophie, Xiao Mei, Lao Wang, and other partners in the real world to defeat Jack and thwart his conspiracy.

Peace was restored in the other world, and the real world was saved.

Li Jin and Amy returned home and lived happily ever after with Li Xiang.
