He weighed the machete in his hand, the blade reflecting a blinding light in the sunlight. "I've killed countless people; today I'll show you what I'm capable of!"

Xiao Mei met the man's gaze without fear, her eyes flashing with determination: "Enough talk! If you want to fight, then fight!"

With that, Xiaomei's petite body shot out like an arrow, her short sword drawing a silver arc, aiming straight for the man's throat. The man clearly hadn't expected Xiaomei to act so decisively; he paused for a moment, then quickly raised his cleaver to block.
