"I hope this hellish atmosphere is just an illusion," Li Jin muttered to himself. He sensed the tension in the air, as if it were a premonition of something ominous.

Just then, a sharp whistling sound pierced the silence. In an instant, Li Jin and Su Fei instinctively turned around, their gazes locking onto a fully armed figure in the distance. It was Lin Na's man in black; his figure was like a ghost, blending into this bizarre and fantastical illusion, almost imperceptible.

"Yes, it seems we've been treated as prey in a game," Li Jin said through gritted teeth, his eyes burning with fighting spirit.

"There is no such thing as absolute safety anywhere in this world." Sophie's face showed a hint of stubbornness. "If they think we will give up easily, they are really delusional."

Before they could finish speaking, the man in black had already pounced on them, faster than they had anticipated. Li Jin met him without hesitation, while Sophie assisted him, displaying her magical abilities to the fullest.

The man in black was forced to stop. He glanced coldly at Old Wang, unwilling to fight like a cornered beast any longer, and quickly disappeared into the mist.

Old Wang turned his gaze to Li Jin and Su Fei, seemingly hinting at a greater mission and trial. He didn't explain much, but instead guided them forward, for in this unknown and fantastical journey, the true answer to their destiny would surely be revealed.

Li Jin and Sophie understood each other perfectly; the attack by the men in black was undoubtedly a test of their endurance and intelligence. Sophie whispered an incantation, and a silver light slowly unfolded from her hand, like a protective barrier descending upon them. Li Jin nimbly sidestepped the men in black's fierce attacks, using his modern combat skills and the special abilities granted by the system to quickly counterattack.
