"Boss, you've hit the jackpot! You actually became Master Tianji's disciple!" Xiaomei exclaimed exaggeratedly, her big eyes shining brightly, as if she could see Li Jin's future rise to prominence.

Princess Sophie covered her mouth with an elegant smile, her eyes sparkling with a hint of satisfaction: "Yes, the Old Man of Heavenly Secrets is a legendary figure. You must study hard in the future and strive to become a master like him as soon as possible!" She looked at Li Jin, her eyes seemingly filled with more expectation.

Li Jin was flattered by the praise. He clenched his fist, full of pride, and said, "I will work hard! I won't let Master down!" But then his expression changed. Remembering the unconscious Xiao Bai, he anxiously asked, "By the way, how is Xiao Bai?"

Upon hearing this, Xiao Mei's eyes reddened, and she carefully pulled the barely breathing Xiao Bai from her bosom. Its body was covered in wounds, its snow-white fur stained with mottled blood, and its weak breathing was almost imperceptible.

The old man's residence was located atop a misty mountain peak, and Li Jin and the others had to exert tremendous effort to reach the summit. Before them stood a rustic wooden house, nestled amidst a verdant bamboo grove, exuding an exceptionally serene and tranquil atmosphere.

"Master!" Li Jin called out respectfully.

The door of the wooden house creaked open, and the old man with white hair and a youthful face, full of energy, was smiling at them.

"You've arrived." The old man stroked his beard, his gaze falling on the unconscious Little White in Li Jin's arms. "What happened?"

Li Jin hurriedly told the old man about what had happened in detail, his tone filled with anxiety and worry.

After listening, the old man of the heavens frowned slightly, took the little white dog and examined it carefully, his expression gradually becoming solemn.

"Little White's injuries are no small matter. It has been poisoned by an ancient demon god, and ordinary healing methods are completely ineffective," the old man of the heavens said in a deep voice, with a hint of helplessness in his tone.
