"Du Yue, she kidnapped... a cute child!" Lu Mingxuan's words were like a bolt from the blue, making my vision go black.

"What?!" I could hardly believe my ears. "How could this be?! How dare she?!"

I immediately breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed onto the sofa.

My tears welled up instantly, and I choked up, unable to speak.
