The Rebirth of Bai Qi: The Way of Qi

Bai Qi sat cross-legged in the Nine Realms, his thoughts still unsettled.

It was a prosperous era, far more magnificent and spectacular than the Warring States period in which he lived.

The streets were bustling with people, vendors were calling out their wares, and children were playing and laughing on street corners. The city was filled with an atmosphere of stability and prosperity.

Bai Qi became an observer, involuntarily wandering through this bustling place, yet a familiar yet elusive stirring stirred within him.

He saw many people busy at work; some were selling fruits and vegetables on the street, while others were repairing houses at the alley entrance. Everyone's face showed busyness and satisfaction.

His gaze followed the surging crowd, leading to a distant corner, as if someone was calling him to go there.

He followed his senses and came to a secluded courtyard filled with exotic flowers and plants, their fragrance filling the air, with wafts of floral scents carried on the breeze.

Deep within the courtyard, a woman dressed in white is softly singing on the edge of a cliff. Her silhouette appears infinitely distant yet incredibly intimate in the afterglow of the setting sun.

Bai Qi's heart skipped a beat, and he involuntarily uttered a strange name: "Qi Luo..."

The name that had been uttered abruptly echoed in the air, leaving even he himself taken aback.

The woman turned around at the sound of her voice, and her face, as beautiful as the morning glow, was still as captivating as he remembered.

When she saw him, a gentle smile appeared on her face, as if there had never been an endless distance between them.

Bai Qi could not suppress the shock and joy in his heart; this woman clearly had an inexplicable connection with him.

She regarded him as an old friend from that time, as if the bond between the two had once been so strong.
