The Rebirth of Bai Qi: The Way of Qi

As dawn breaks, a thin mist hangs over the mountains, and droplets of dew slide down the branches and leaves, as if whispering the stories of the night.

Bai Qi, Han Xin, Han Fu, and Situ Yan walked slowly along the mountain path. Despite having traveled a long way overnight, they were full of energy and walked with ease.

The person held an ancient scroll in his hand, exuding a calming aura, as if he were slowly walking from another time and space.

Even though the journey was uneventful, he seemed to arrive following some kind of wondrous trajectory.

Bai Qi's heart stirred slightly. Thinking of the various thoughts he had pondered last night, he stepped forward, cupped his hands, and said, "May I ask your esteemed name, senior? Is there anything you can teach me that you have stopped here at this time?"

Upon hearing this, the Taoist smiled slightly and said softly as if deep in thought, "My Taoist name is Xuan Su. I am entrusted by Heaven with the responsibility of guiding those who are wise to enter the Tao."

I see you are no ordinary person, and have come to see you. The tolling of the bell here is a sign from Heaven; your ability to sense it and arrive here is a testament to our predestined connection today.

This great path still needs to be followed step by step.

As Bai Qi listened to the profound words mixed with ancient meaning, he sighed that they were not easy to fully understand, but it was as if he saw specks of light falling from the clouds in a hazy state, and there were traces in the smallest things.

Amidst the fear in their hearts, the four saw that Xuan Su remained unmoved, his figure unaffected by heaven and earth, as if all of this had nothing to do with him.

He slowly turned around, his Taoist robe flapping in the wind and rain, and waved to Bai Qi to come with him, saying, "Going to the depths of the desert, those who are capable will succeed; perhaps destiny has ordained them."
