Rick remembered the previous side missions 1 and 2, which required a trip to the Atlanta Police Department, so he decided to complete them along the way.

Rick entered the cockpit of the tactical MTVR, where everyone was already ready.

As the camp gates opened, an armed Humvee, Dell's RV in the middle, and Rick's tactical MTVR in the back, the three vehicles drove south.

The car was quiet. Moore held the M14 Crazy Horse and stared seriously ahead, while Rick communicated telepathically with Mieko through his high-tech ring.

Mieko: "Honey, what's your plan? Should we go to the CDC first?"

Rick: "No, honey, the CDC is located right in the center of Atlanta, and I'm planning to go there from the North Side of Atlanta. But that will definitely take me past your mother Park Mi-ri's Korean BBQ restaurant. So, you, me, Maggie, Beth, Moore, Daryl, and I will go look for your mother first."

Mieko: "Mmm, you're so good to me, honey."

Rick: "I promised you this before, and besides, I need to tell her about our relationship. After all, she's my mother-in-law, so it's only right that I help her out."

Mihoko: "Hehe, honey, I'll reward you properly tonight before we go to sleep."

Seeing this, Rick took out his walkie-talkie and said, "Attention everyone, this is Rick. Zombies have been spotted ahead. Do not fire the M2HB heavy machine guns yet. Carol, Sean, take care of those zombies with your silenced M14 Crazy Horses."

Upon hearing the order, Carol and Sean climbed onto the roof of Dale's RV.

With two sharp thuds, Sean blew the heads off two zombies that were approaching the armed Humvee.

Carol then said to Sean, "Hey! Sean, that's my target!"

Sean, however, said dismissively, "Fine, you can go first this time."

Carol raised her M14 Crazy Horse and aimed at the two zombies in the farthest distance. A moment later, with two crisp thuds, the heads of the two zombies were blown off by Carol and they fell to the ground.

"Mom, great marksmanship!" Sophia exclaimed to Carol after seeing her take down the two zombies in the distance.

After seeing Carol's marksmanship, Rick not only began to look at her in a new light, but also realized how quickly she had improved in just two days. He believed that by the time he went to prison, Carol's marksmanship would be almost on par with the legendary Carol from the original series.

Rick picked up the walkie-talkie and said, "Good shot, Carol."

Carroll's marksmanship impressed Sean, who was standing next to her, who felt that her talent in shooting was no less than Glenn's, and perhaps even stronger.

This made Sean feel a sense of goodwill towards Carol, and he then said to her, "Good marksmanship, ma'am. Would you be interested in training your marksmanship with my task force?"

Sean's words intrigued Carol, and she picked up the walkie-talkie and said, "Rick, what do you think?"

Rick replied, "Carol, agree to it. Sean is a shooting instructor. He'll teach you how to shoot, and your shooting skills will improve very quickly."

Carol: "Okay, Rick, I'll learn from Sean."

Rick: "Sean, Carol has a great shooting talent. You need to teach her diligently, you know?"

Sean: "Okay, boss."

And so, Sean stood on Dale's RV instructing Carol on her marksmanship, and Carol did not disappoint Rick's expectations. Of the 15 bullets fired, 10 hit the zombies' heads accurately, while the remaining five were killed by Sean while he was demonstrating his marksmanship to Carol.

After Sean and Carol eliminated the zombies, the convoy officially entered the northern part of Atlanta.

Compared to other districts, the environment in the North District is extremely chaotic. Various abandoned vehicles are crammed together on the streets, there are a few wandering zombies, and shops have been vandalized.

Seeing these familiar scenes, Rick decided to part ways with the group. He decided to take the Dixon brothers and his three wives to the location of Park Mi-ri's Korean BBQ restaurant, while the others would go to the Atlanta Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as planned and wait for Rick to return so they could go in together.

After discussing it, the group parted ways at the crossroads ahead.

Rick called Mieko over and asked, "Do you remember the location of the shop?"

Mihoko looked around and said, "Well, drive straight ahead, go through three traffic lights, turn right, go through two more traffic lights, drive south, and finally turn right. There's a small, two-story detached house there; that's my mother's shop."

Upon hearing this, Rick switched places with Moore, took the driver's seat, and drove towards the target as Mieko had instructed.

But when Rick and his group arrived at the place Mihoko had mentioned, they were stunned. The shop Mihoko had described had long since become a small clinic.

Mieko looked at the small clinic in front of her, her face full of questions.

Seeing this, Rick asked, "Honey, are you sure this is the Korean BBQ restaurant you're talking about? This place looks more like a private clinic to me."

Mieko: "I remember this place. I came here once when I was a child with my father. I haven't been here since my mother's accident, but I don't remember this place turning into a small clinic."

Seeing this, Rick scratched his head and said, "This is going to be difficult. Atlanta is a big city. If we search aimlessly like this, we might not even find it. If we run into a horde of zombies in the city, it will be hard to get away."

Seeing this, Mihoko's eyes filled with tears as she anxiously said to Rick, "But I remember it being right here. Could something have happened? My mother's barbecue restaurant is built in a Korean style, but this clinic is built entirely in an American style."

Seeing this, Rick hugged Mieko and patted her head to comfort her, saying, "Don't cry, don't cry, let's think about it again. Don't rush, don't rush."

Mihoko was comforted by Rick and gradually regained her composure. She got out of the car and went to look around. Although the surrounding environment had changed a bit compared to when she was a child, the original buildings and landmarks were still there. She remembered that there was a jewelry store next to her house, and that jewelry store was still there, but the gold and silver jewelry inside had been looted by thugs.

Across from the barbecue restaurant was a church. Although the church was dilapidated and no longer what it used to be, Mihoko remembered that Father Sanchez often patronized her mother's barbecue restaurant.

With that in mind, Mieko decided to go and take a look at the abandoned church.

Ignoring everyone else, she ran towards the abandoned church alone, while Rick, worried about Mieko's safety, followed her.

And so, Mieko, carrying a Beowulf assault rifle, and Rick, carrying a tactical crossbow, walked into the abandoned church.
