Harry Potter and the Virtue of Miss Potter

Chapter 89 Marcus's Textbook

During the last six days of her confinement, the church did prepare a small table for her. Whenever students came, unless it was something extremely important, they would all go to Wu Mu, this eloquent and witty person.

Wu Mu's work in the office usually involves helping Professor Si fetch things, resolving issues that other students can handle themselves, grading papers and assignments, and sometimes even signing special permits for Professor Si.

With Wumu's help, Sijiao's job became much easier than before. The only extra task was to occasionally cast two basic spells while Wumu was playing with the magic cube.

When Ayman was not around, whenever there was a bit too much to do, he would send a student to find Ayman. Ayman became a regular at the office, and more and more people learned about the relationship between Harry, Ayman, and Stan.

"Knock knock knock!" Judging from the time, the students are all in class now. Without a doubt, Professor Si has once again asked the students to complete the task on their own during class.

"Come in."

“Professor Snape, I’ve collected all the papers,” a first-year Ravenclaw student entered and casually placed a stack of papers on Snape’s desk. “The next task…”

"Make sure they memorize all the key points from before, and I'll check them in the next class."

"Ok."

……

The History of Magic Classroom.

While in Hermione's office, she accidentally swapped textbooks with an older student. "Hermione, what are all these? I really need to study the history of magic properly!"

"What? Wait, that can't be right! Wumu, this shouldn't be your textbook!"

Wu Mu turned to the first page, where "Marcus Flint" was prominently displayed.

"This is... the Slytherin Quidditch captain! I don't know how to explain this!"

"Alright, you can read it with me first! You can go to Professor Snape's after class." Hermione pushed her textbook toward Wu Mu.

"It can only be the."

After a long time…

"get out of class dismissed, students."

"Alright, Hermione, could you take the rest of your things with you? I reckon I'll have more to do when I get there."

"Okay, Wumu, go ahead!" Hermione stacked Wumu's book together with her own.

"Thank you, Hermione!"

Upon reaching the door of Professor Si's office, Wu Mu knocked first, "Godfather!"

"Come in."

"Godfather, I took the wrong textbook from Mr. Flint. I don't know him well. Could you take it to him next time you go to class?"

"Just leave it here. You have your task over there. Finish it before you go."

"Okay, okay." Wu Mu put the textbook on Professor Si's desk and sat down at his own desk.

"Sigh, another paper." Wu Mu patted his face, trying to clear his head.

This is my fourth paper at Hogwarts. I come from the faraway world of popsicles. Have you ever eaten a kitten? Their fur can be quite smelly. I'm hungry, and I want some pudding... I'm sure I'll become a great wizard.

Wu Mu: It's really... cool, so imaginative. It looks like this stack of papers is from first-year students.

Wu Mu graded these essays according to the strict standards of the Sijiao grading system. Although she hated it, sometimes she could actually come across some interesting articles, like the one above.

"Boom boom boom!"

"Please come in!"

"Professor, I'm here with... you too! Where's my textbook? You made me come all this way to find it, and my next class is History of Magic."

“Mr. Flint, if I remember correctly, you were the one who took my textbook and left first.” Wu Mu put the parchment aside and looked directly at Marcus.

"Didn't you even check after I left? You're so careless!"

“I’m not that careful, but you didn’t look at it when you took it either. This is an office, please don’t cause trouble, and please don’t put all the blame on me. We are both responsible for taking the wrong book.”

"Give me my book right now!"

“It’s with the professor.” Wu Mu lowered his head and continued doing his own thing, while Marcus casually tossed the book onto Wu Mu’s desk.

"Marcus! Have you made enough of a scene?" Wu Mu hated his arrogant and conceited nature. She stood up, not raising her voice, but her tone sounded heavy.

"Wu Mu, sit down." Hearing Si Jiao's words, Wu Mu quietly sat back down.

"Take your textbooks and get out of here right now." No one would be happy if someone caused trouble in their office, and Professor S was no exception.

Before Marcus left, he gave Aymu's head a hard shove, as if to taunt him. Aymu felt a surge of annoyance, but outwardly remained calm. She intended to reach for her wand to demonstrate her power and authority. However, just as she was about to take it out, she suddenly remembered the presence of the Church of S. She realized that a conflict with Marcus at this moment might incur the Church's displeasure. So, after a moment's hesitation, Aymu put the wand back. All these subtle actions were observed by the Church of S., whose eyes revealed a barely perceptible hint of admiration.

Wu Mu tugged at Marcus's sleeve. "Wait for me in the hallway outside later."

Marcus left with one hand in his pocket and a smug look on his face. Professor S didn't bother with it. He couldn't be bothered with a student like Marcus who didn't respect the professor.
