Harry Potter and the Virtue of Miss Potter

Chapter 62 The Mysterious Man in Black (Part 1)

The group decided to return to their dormitory first.

Hagrid has wanted to raise a dragon for a long time.

"He keeps all sorts of things, but a fire-breathing dragon could endanger the students' safety."

“That’s ridiculous, and what’s worse, Malfoy saw it.”

The four did not notice Professor McGonagall, who was holding a candle, walking out of the door.

"He'll tell Snape! He might even tell Dumbledore!"

"It sucks."

The four looked up and saw Professor McGonagall standing in front of them.

"Good night," Professor McGonagall said with a slightly sarcastic tone.

“Goodnight…Professor McGonagall,” Wu Mu replied instinctively.

After she finished speaking, Malfoy walked out from the side, but his expression told Wumu, "I really didn't mean to."

The group was called to the Transformation Classroom, which was closer to the office.

"I'll repeat myself: under no circumstances should students wander around at night. I'm going to punish you for this behavior and deduct fifty points."

"No! What!"

"fifty points!"

"It's over!" Wu Mu was so terrified that all he could say was "It's over."

"Everyone, I promise you won't do it again."

"We're doomed!" Upon hearing the words "everyone," Wu Mu said "We're doomed" again.

"You will be punished with five days of community service."

Upon hearing "five," Malfoy stepped forward.

"Excuse me, Professor, I think I misheard you. You said...five people...?"

“You heard me right, Mr. Malfoy. Although you did it for a good cause, you still sneaked out of bed after lights out, so you must be punished along with them.”

“I mean… Wumu is just a girl.” Malfoy pointed to Wumu beside him.

“Miss Granger is a girl too.” McGonagall remained completely unmoved.

When accepting punishment...

Mr. Filch led them to Hagrid, rambling on and on.

"You're really unlucky, Hagrid. Good heavens, are you still angry about that dragon?"

Hagrid fiddled with the bow in his hand. "Nober is gone. Dumbledore sent it to Romania to live with its kind."

"Isn't this great? It can stay with its own kind."

"But what if it doesn't like Romania? What if other dragons treat it badly? After all, it's still just a baby."

"Hagrid, don't worry! It'll be fine! If you're still worried, isn't Ron's brother researching dragons in Romania? You can ask Ron to send a letter for you; maybe you'll get some pictures of Norber!"

Wu Mu, the little sun, came online. She walked up to Hagrid and gave him a thumbs-up to comfort him.

"Please, control your emotions. You still have business to attend to in the Forbidden Forest. You need to be fully focused in the Forbidden Forest."

"Forbidden Forest? I thought you were joking. That's a restricted area! Students aren't allowed in; there are... werewolves there." Malfoy was clearly a little scared.

"There are more than just werewolves in the Forbidden Forest, that much is certain. Goodnight." With that, Mr. Filch left.

"Alright, let's go!" Hagrid led the group a little further inside. They hadn't gone far when he saw a puddle of slime on the ground. He licked some off his finger and rubbed it in his hand.

"Hagrid, what's that?"

"That's why we're here. See that? That's unicorn blood. I found a carcass a few weeks ago, and now this unicorn is badly injured. So, our mission is to find that poor unicorn. Ron, Hermione, come with me! Harry, Amber, you two go with Malfoy."

"Let me bring Ya Ya!"

"No, let's forget about it! Draco, Axe is a coward too. With me here, everything will be fine!"

Wu Mu: I can't guarantee that I can protect a dog while protecting the two of them.

"Alright!" Malfoy agreed since Wumu had said so.

"You'll be in big trouble if my father hears this! This is what a servant should do!" Malfoy said, holding up the lamp with displeasure.

"Alright, Draco, it's just a lantern. If you don't want to carry it, give it to me!" Wumu reached out to Malfoy for the lantern he was holding.

"No, I'll carry it myself. There are so many weeds, watch your step." Malfoy said he was unwilling, but he really wanted to carry the lantern for Ayam. As for Harry... he kept holding the lantern out in front of Ayam, completely ignoring Harry standing next to him.

"Why don't I see any other creatures? For example... an eight-eyed spider?"

“I remember you don’t like spiders, Ayam,” Harry replied.
