Harry Potter and the Virtue of Miss Potter

Chapter 46 Part 1 - Quidditch Match (Part 2)

Neville shouted from the stands for his house, "Gryffindor!"

"Wamu! Go for it! Wamu!" Hermione was also cheering for Wamu from the stands.

"Players, to your positions! Mrs. Hodge is coming up to start the game."

"I hope this is a fair and square competition, and everyone should abide by the rules."

"The running balls are all flying, next up is the Golden Snitch. Remember, catching the Golden Snitch will earn you 150 points. The match ends as soon as the Seeker catches the Golden Snitch. Release the Quaffle, the match begins!"

After hearing Wood's words, Harry immediately flew to a corner nearby.

Lina dashed out like lightning, snatching the ball with astonishing speed and agility. She nimbly weaved through the crowd, constantly changing her footwork and posture, skillfully dodging attacks from all directions.

The audience watched her every move with bated breath. Her opponents pressed on, trying to regain control of the ball, but Lina always managed to escape danger thanks to her excellent skills and quick reflexes.

Finally, Lina successfully broke through the defense and reached a position not far from the goal. The ball drew a beautiful arc in the air and flew accurately into the goal ring.

"Lina scores! Gryffindor gets ten points!"

"Beautiful! Sister Lina!" Wu Mu exclaimed.

"The Quaffle landed in Slytherin's hands, and Larry passed it to Captain Marcus."

"Start working hard, little starlight!" In the blink of an eye, Awmu flew to the Slytherin captain, and just as Marcus triumphantly tossed the ball up to catch it, Awmu caught it in his arms.

"Wu Mu stole the ball with lightning speed when Marcus wasn't paying attention!"

The Slytherin members, lacking any sense of sportsmanship, prepared to clash with Vam. Vam forcefully lifted the broom handle, sending it flying slightly upwards, causing the two Slytherin members to collide and fall to the ground.

"With a nimble leap, Wumu took down two Slytherin players."

Wu Mu turned her head and glanced at him. Only when she turned her head back did she see George fly to her left and hit a stray ball.

"Watch your surroundings! Little Mousse!"

Although Wumu has poor balance, her movement is still very agile. When the opposing player was chasing her, she used different ways to spin in the air to dodge the pursuit, then threw the ball up and used a broom to knock it into the hole, scoring!

"Beautiful shot! Woomu scores! Gryffindor gets ten points! Woomu is so agile!"

Wu Mu didn't stop there; he continued chasing after the Slytherin player who was holding the Quaffle.

Slytherins are so cunning! Their captain used the baseball bat that should have been held by the batter to hit the runner at Gryffindor's goalkeeper, Wood. Wood fell to the ground and passed out.

Another Gryffindor chaser got the ball, but was caught in a pincer attack by Slytherin players and crashed into a pillar in the stands, falling unconscious.

"Damn it!" Wu Mu gritted his teeth.

Without a goalkeeper, Slytherin can score as long as they get the ball.

"Slytherin scores! Slytherin gets ten points!"

Slytherin's pursuer once again "attacked" the Gryffindor ring.

In that breathtaking moment, the Quaffle was closing in on Wumu's team's goal, seemingly handing victory over. However, Wumu displayed superhuman reaction speed and skill.

She steered her broom like a whirlwind, reaching the hole in the blink of an eye. Then, she pulled off an astonishing move—hooking her legs tightly around the broom and leaning her body backward as if parallel to the ground!

With her agile movements, Wumu successfully blocked the Quake with her hand. Then, she did a somersault in the air and forcefully slapped the ball away. Using the powerful momentum, she quickly flipped herself back to center and regained control of the situation.

The Quake, launched by Wumu, flew far towards the opponent's hoop. The small snakes were astonished, unable to believe what they were seeing.

"Wu Mu scores again! A long ball! Gryffindor gets ten points!"

Before they could even feel smug, Harry and Awm's brooms went out of control and flew around wildly.

Harry was holding on tight and didn't seem to be falling, but Ayam was in a worse situation; she had been clinging to the broom with her bare hands ever since it started to go out of control.

"Little Starlight! Fly towards the Church of Si! Just do your best!" The broom was swung back and forth as it flew towards the Church of Si.

"What's wrong with her!" Hermione exclaimed, leaning against the railing of the stands.

Harry then fell off the broom and grabbed it with his hands.

Wu Mu tried his best to throw the note to Si Jiao, then crossed his legs, fell under the broom, and swayed left and right to sit on the broom.

When Stan saw the words on the note, he looked at Professor Quirrell, who, as expected, was staring intently ahead and silently used magic to make Potter and Stan's brooms go out of control.

"Quirk? Quirrell?" Professor Scott called out several times before Quirrell responded.

"Huh? Wh...what is it? Snape...Professor Snape?" Quirrell's spellcasting was interrupted by Snape. Sure enough, Potter and Harry's brooms were restored. Snape glanced at Harry and Holmes, and their brooms were indeed back to normal.

With her broom no longer wobbling, Wolverine felt much more relaxed. She easily circled in the sky before continuing her search for the Quaffle, while Harry immediately went after the Golden Snitch.

"Oh, so that's where it is!" Wu Mu rushed towards the Slytherin player who had the Quaffle, but was kicked down by another Slytherin player halfway there.

The team member looked at Wu Mu triumphantly, but Wu Mu smiled. Then her broom flew down and caught her, making her lie on the broom. She flipped down again, grabbed the broom with her backhand, and threw herself up.

"What?!" The player thought he was seeing things, rubbed his eyes and looked again, but Wu Mu continued to chase after the player who had the ball.

"Wu Mu's broom caught her! She's so lucky!"

“Wam is really lucky!” Ron chimed in from the side.

Harry and the Seekers of Slytherin both chased after the Golden Snitch.

After Wood's grueling training, Ayam became more and more skilled and faster at flying, and she intercepted the ball from the Slytherin player again.

Wumu and her broom seemed to have a tacit understanding; every movement appeared so natural and fluid.

She kept flipping around on the broom, leaving the Slytherin players bewildered. These seemingly chaotic movements successfully distracted them.

Just as the opposing goalkeeper was racking his brains trying to figure out what kind of high-difficulty move she would make next, Wumu suddenly flicked her wrist, tossing the Quaffle high into the air. Immediately afterward, she swiftly swung her broom, striking the ball hard.

With a loud "bang," the Quaffle shot towards the goal like lightning. The Slytherin goalkeeper clearly hadn't reacted in time, and it was too late to make the save.

"Gryffindor scores! That's a lot of points!"

"Knock her down!" Captain Slytherin threatened.

Apart from the goalkeeper and the seeker, the other three players all charged towards Wumu.

After dodging several times, Wumu was still knocked down by a Slytherin member who flew down from above.

"They cheated! Wolmer!" Hermione was extremely worried, but then she saw Wolmer being caught by the broom.

"She... she caught herself with her broom again?" Ron squinted at Wu Mu.

"Sorry! My little Starlight is very intelligent." Wu Mu raised his hands to catch the Quaffle that was about to fly past, and then quickly flew it towards the Slytherin goalkeeper.

Just as Wolverine was about to collide with the Slytherin goalkeeper, he suddenly braked, turned around, and kicked the ball into the net.

"Gryffindor scores! O'Hara scores again! She's scored forty points all by herself!"
