Harry Potter and the Virtue of Miss Potter

Chapter 42 Hospitalization (Part 2)

Wu Mu was halfway through reading when he suddenly thought of something.

Wu Mu: I remember that Stryker should have an injury on his leg right now. Let's get some medicine from Madam Pomfrey! Then we can sneak in and put it on Stryker's table.

“Um… Mrs. Pomfrey? Could you come here for a moment?” Wu Mu raised his voice.

"What's wrong, kid?"

"I'd like to ask if you have any medicine for injuries caused by giant beasts?"

"Were you scratched by a giant beast? Child, let me see!"

"No! I didn't. My cousin has a really, really big animal. I don't know what kind of animal it is, and I'm so afraid he'll get scratched. I want my owl to deliver medicine over for emergencies." Wu Mu used his powerful brain to come up with another plausible reason.

"Oh! Okay, child, wait a moment, I'll go get it for you!"

"Thank you, Mrs. Pomfrey!"

Mrs. Pomfrey returned quickly with a small bottle of medicine. "It can be used externally or internally. If the wound urgently needs medicine, use it externally, but it often doesn't heal as quickly as oral medication."

Wu Mu: "Okay! Thank you so much!" I easily got the medicine for Si Jiao, but in the novels I read, Si Jiao never drank medicine given by others. Si Jiao has such a strange temper. Oh well, I'll just play along and deal with it later!

Wu Mu stuffed the medicine into his pocket, took out a piece of cardboard and a quill pen from his "treasure bag," and began writing a note to Si Jiao.

The note contained the following:

Professor, I saw the injury on your leg before. You even personally took me to the medical wing. I felt I should do something to help you, so I went to the hospital to get some medicine from Mrs. Pomfrey.

Woomu Porter

"Hmm! Very good! But what if he really doesn't drink? Hmm... I've got it!" Wu Mu added another sentence at the end—not drinking is being a clown!

Wu Mu nodded in satisfaction, even though it was a foolish plan.

Wumu: Put it in the 'treasure bag' and keep memorizing!

After reading the book five or six times, it was already dark. She ate dinner and went to bed.

On the third day, Wu Mu woke up earlier; she woke up naturally at 7:30.

She rubbed her eyes: Is Mrs. Pomfrey awake? When will my injuries heal?

Just then, Mrs. Pomfrey happened to pass by.

Wu Mu: Speak of the devil and he appears!

"Mrs. Pomfrey! Excuse me, didn't you say you'd be back in a day?"

“Yes, if you wish to go back.” Mrs. Pomfrey stepped forward, changed the bandages on the man, and then wrapped another bandage around his neck and arms several times, allowing his arms to rest comfortably on the bandages.

"Phew, thank you! Mrs. Pomfrey! I'm off! Bye-bye!" Wu Mu picked up the books from the table, pushed open the door, and went out.

"Now I need to go to my dorm to get my wand, then I need to deliver medicine to Stalin, and in the afternoon... I'll go to class as usual!"

……

Girls dormitory.

"Little Qingti! It's been a day, let's test your self-control!" Wu Mu silently chanted in her mind to become invisible, and she miraculously disappeared.

"As expected of Little Green Grape! Great job! Now let's go find Coach Si!"

……

School corridor.

Wu Mu opened the door to Si Jiao's office a tiny crack and saw Si Jiao searching for something inside.

The door was slowly pushed open, and Si Jiao also sensed that something was wrong.

Wu Mu moved her feet slowly. Although she wouldn't be seen by the S Church now, at such close range, how could such a powerful wizard like the S Church not know that someone had come in?

"{Leg Curse} Jelly-Legs Jinx." The cultist turned and cast the spell towards the direction of the statue.

"Ah!" Wu Mu was knocked down by Si Jiao's attack, his right hand supporting him on the ground, his legs going weak as he sat down on the ground.

"{Appear Immediately} Aparecium." Sorcerer cast another spell on Aparecium, and Aparecium appeared immediately.

"Hehe, hi? Professor..."

“I’m assuming you didn’t use an Auror spell.”

"Of course I didn't, I wouldn't do it, right?" Wu Mu denied it directly.

"What are you here for?"

“I…I…” Wu Mu stammered, unable to speak, as this was not part of her plan at all.

"Are you here for a spot check? You memorized it pretty quickly."

"No! No! I... I haven't memorized it yet."

"Being sneaky could easily lead to misunderstandings." Si Jiao had no intention of using magic to restore Wu Mu.

"Um... Excuse me, Professor Si, could you... let me recover first?"

"I'd like to hear the purpose of your visit first, Mu." Si Jiao remained unmoved and continued searching for the materials he needed.

"Uh...uh...okay!" Only after Wu Mu said "okay" did Si Jiao glance at her out of the corner of his eye.

“Actually… I saw the injury on your leg before, and I specifically asked Madam Pomfrey to find the medicine. I was thinking of secretly bringing it to you.” Wu Mu touched his pocket.

"I don't need it. You don't need to worry about this kind of thing, Mu."

"Oh, Professor Si, we're practically family! I went to great lengths to come up with reasons to get you this medicine! How can you just refuse it like that?" Wu Mu took the medicine out and placed it on the table.

“Sigh…” Spellcaster waved his wand, restoring Wu Mu to his senses. “You can leave now, take the medicine with you.”

"No! I don't want to! Professor, if you don't need it, then I'm not leaving!"

Wu Mu turned around and sat on the chair next to him, crossing his legs and hugging his chest, raising his left eyebrow, looking just like a protester.

Si Jiao ignored her, but Wu Mu actually sat there and didn't intend to leave. She took out the book that Si Jiao had asked her to memorize and started memorizing it.
