Harry Potter and the Virtue of Miss Potter

Chapter 39 The Troll (Part 2)

Blood was dripping from Wumu's arm, but she still tried her best to cast the spell. She couldn't lift her left arm, so she used her right arm to support herself and lift it up. "{Blazing Flames} Incendio!" This time, the fireball hit the giant's stomach.

The spot where the giant was hit instantly burst into flames. It hurriedly slapped the flames out, but a large section of the area where it was hit was still burned open, exposing the tender flesh underneath, with blood still flowing down.

"Whoa—!" the troll roared at Wumu again, grabbing Harry from the side and swinging him around.

"Ron! Think of something quick!" Harry said to Ron, the only one who could help at the moment.

"Ron! Yugadilm Leviosa (onomatopoeia for the spell)! Swing and flick!" Hermione saw that things were going badly and wanted Ron to use the spell he had learned today to attack the troll.

Ron looked at Hermione, and Harry also broke free from the troll without the troll's notice. The troll then attacked Weemu again.

"Waaah!" Ron shouted, picking up a piece of wood from the ground and throwing it.

"Wamu!" Harry rushed forward to shield Wamu, but he couldn't dodge the troll's attack at all. Wamu had no choice but to push Harry down forcefully, and then fall to Harry's other side.

The troll swung its bat a second time, and Amu stood up and pulled Harry, who had just stood up, again.

"Ugh..." Wu Mu's left arm was hit by the giant again.

After so many attempts to hide, Wu Mu was running out of energy.

"Ron! Hurry! It'll be too late if we don't cast a spell soon!" Hermione stood up and threw a piece of wood at the troll, but when the troll turned around to attack Hermione, she was still scared and screamed as she hid under the pool.

Ron, his hand trembling, pointed his wand at the troll, "[Floating Charm] Wingardium Leviosa!"

He cast the spell on the troll's club.

As Ron's incantation ceased, the wooden club fell precisely on the troll's head, stunning it.

Wu Mu clutched his arm and sat on the ground.

"Wu Mu! You were too impulsive!"

"How's your arm?" Being a smart person, Hermione knew she should be concerned about the injury first.

Hermione lifted Wolmer's sleeve, revealing a large, deep abrasion on her arm, so deep that the bone was visible underneath.

The giant just smashed into him, and even his bones are broken.

“Oh my god! Woohoo! Your arm!” Ron’s eyes widened.

“Walmur! It’s all my fault! It’s all because of my irresponsible brother!” Harry gently stroked Walmur’s arm.

"It's okay, brother, I'm fine, it's nothing." Wu Mu smiled at Harry despite the pain.

The professors arrived at that moment.

"Phew! My goodness! Please, all of you, explain this to me!" Professor McGonagall was extremely worried.

“What?” Harry asked.

“It’s all my fault, Professor McGonagall,” Hermione said.

"What's wrong with her?" Si Jiao saw Wu Mu sitting weakly on the ground and quickly squatted down next to her.

Professor McGonagall, seeing that Sylvanas had gone to check on Hermione's condition, continued to ask, "Miss Granger?"

“I’ve come to find the troll. I’ve read about it in books, and I thought I knew a lot about trolls and that I could handle it, but I was wrong.”

“If it weren’t for Harry, Aymu and Ron arriving in time to save me, I probably would be dead. And now I feel especially sorry for Aymu, who was seriously injured while saving me.”

Professor McGonagall, hearing from Hermione that it was a very serious injury, also went over to examine Wolmer. "Oh my God! Poor Wolmer, I can see the broken bones inside."

“I’ll take her to the medical wing.” Si Jiao carefully wrapped one arm around Wu Mu’s arm and supported her leg with the other arm, lifting her up.

Professor McGonagall nodded to Spellbook and continued to Hermione, "In that case, Miss Granger, this is a foolish thing to do. I am very disappointed in you and therefore deduct five points from Gryffindor." Hermione lowered her head silently upon hearing Professor McGonagall's words.

"As for the three of them, they were incredibly lucky. No first-year student could defeat an adult troll, so I'm giving each of them an extra five points." After Professor McGonagall finished speaking, the three of them, who should have been happy, seemed to want to object to her words.

“No! Professor McGonagall! This was definitely not due to our luck; it was almost entirely thanks to Wyman.”

"First, Wumu threw a piece of wood at the troll, saving me from being knocked down by the troll's club. Then she used wandless magic, constantly attacking the troll with the spell 'Blazing Flames'."

"Although she was quick and managed to dodge the troll's attacks, in the chaos, the troll still managed to hit her. Later, Harry was grabbed by the troll, which gave Ron the opportunity to cast his spell."

"Ron used the levitation charm he learned today. He made the troll's club float up and hit the troll on the head, which knocked the troll unconscious."

Professor McGonagall was taken aback, because Hermione had just said that Vam had used wandless magic.

“Alright, now you can go back to your dorms! We’ll leave this to the professors.” With that, Professor McGonagall left, leaving Professor Quirrell behind.

Harry, Hermione, and Ron exchanged glances and then left.

Clearly, Professor McGonagall has passed the task of dealing with the trolls to Professor Quirrell.
