Harry Potter and the Virtue of Miss Potter

Chapter 21 Banquet and Dinner

"Clang, clang, clang—!" Professor McGonagall tapped her glass with her spoon and said, "Everyone, please pay attention!"

Professor Dumbledore rose at the sound of silence, "Let the feast begin." As soon as he finished speaking, all the tables were piled high with delicious food.

"Wow! Brother! So much delicious food! This is more than we could ever eat in our entire lives at that big idiot Dursley's place!" Wu Mu's eyes seemed to see stars when he saw the food on the table.

"Dursley, you big idiot?" Harry was quite surprised to hear such a strange title coming from Ayam's mouth. "I don't remember you ever calling people that before. Didn't you always call them Mr., Miss, Madam, or something like that, Ayam?"

"Uh... Brother, don't worry about so many details! It's just a matter of detail, right?" Wu Mu felt embarrassed about this.

“I suppose you learned it from Hagrid, didn’t you?” Harry took a bite of his bread.

"Uh...maybe, probably, possibly, should—yes, hehe!" Wu Mu avoided Harry's gaze.

"I am half and half. My dad is a Muggle and my mom is a witch."

"This is so delicious!"

Hey! So that's where you were!

"My mom was terrified when she found out!"

“Tell me, Percy, who is that person talking to Professor Quirrell?” Harry asked Percy, taking advantage of the commotion.

“That’s Professor Snape, the Head of Slytherin House,” Percy replied, leaning closer.

What subjects does he teach?

"Potions Mastery, but he's more interested in Defense Against the Dark Arts; he's wanted to take over Quirrell's job for a long time."

"Potions? Is it those magical potions or something? Like... a lucky potion?" Wu Mu replied to Percy's question.

“Yes, I am.” Percy took another bite of the chicken leg.

"Lucky potion? Amu, what's that?" Harry had no idea about these things and was curious about what Amu was talking about.

“I saw it in a daily newspaper that said ‘he’s like he’s drunk some kind of lucky potion.’ That’s when I first learned about lucky potions. Bro, you should know that I would secretly read the old Dursley’s discarded daily newspapers.”

After saying that, Wu Mu stuffed a mouthful of chicken into his mouth, filling his cheeks bulging.

“Yes, that’s right.” Harry looked away from Ben’s gaze and looked at the table.

Ron reached for the chicken leg with a smug grin, and Wumu also wanted to grab one. Just then, a ghost poked its head out from the table. "Hello! Welcome to Gryffindor!"

Everyone was startled and withdrew their hands from their food, but Wu Mu calmly put his hand through his body and took a chicken leg, placing it on the plate.

Wu Mu: As expected! Just at that moment, the calculation was correct. I hope you weren't scared!

"Hi! Hello! Mr. Ghost, my name is Wumu, Wumu Potter, let's be friends!" Wumu wiped his slightly oily hands with a tissue, then waved to Ghost.

“Wamu, aren’t you scared? He startled me.” Harry slowly lowered his hand and looked at Wamu.

Wu Mu: "It's okay! He's super cool, isn't he?!" It would be strange if I was scared; I've watched the movie at least ten times! I've memorized all the interesting plot points!

Immediately afterwards, ghosts appeared on the walls, on the floor, and in various other places.

"Look! That's the Blood Baron!" A loud voice came from somewhere.

"Hello, Sir Nicholas, how was your summer vacation?" Percy greeted Ghost with a casual conversation.

"Oh no! I wanted to participate in the Headless Horseman hunt, but I was rejected again." After saying this, the ghost twisted his neck and left under the table.

“I know who you are, you’re almost headless Nick.” Ron said as if he were seeing an old acquaintance.

“I hope you can call me Sir Nicholas.”

"Almost headless? How exactly did you mean almost headless?" Hermione asked, puzzled by Ron's unusual way of addressing her.

“Like this.” Nick pulled his head off to show them.

"Ah!" Ron was startled by this action.

Hermione silently averted her gaze from him.

Wu Mu casually scooped up a spoonful of cake and put it in his mouth.

"The cake here is delicious, Sir Nicholas, and your head is outstanding." Wu Mu ate the cake with relish, glanced at Nick, and wiped his mouth with a tissue.

"Oh, thank you for the compliment, I think so too." Nick said and flew away.

"I'm full, brother, how about you?" Wu Mu changed his upright posture to a casual yet polite one.
