Harry Potter and the Virtue of Miss Potter

Chapter 14 The Story of Voldemort

After receiving the money, the old man did not leave immediately. "I think you two will accomplish something great. The cores of your wands come from the same phoenix, and there is someone whose core also comes from the same phoenix."

"Who is that, sir?" Wu Mu asked first.

"The man who left you with lightning scars did something remarkable, though terrible, it was still remarkable." The old man said this and then turned to leave.

"Wait... sir, can we be friends? What's your name?" Wu Mu's greatest skill was making friends with different people.

“Garrick Ollivander, I think it would be an honor to be your friend, Miss Potter.” Ollivander stopped in his tracks upon hearing Wu Mu’s words.

"Knock knock knock! Knock knock knock!" It was Hagrid knocking on the glass.

"Harry, Happy Birthday!" He was carrying two iron cages, one of which contained a snowy owl.

"Wow! Is that... an owl? How cool!" Amu and Harry stared at the owl for a moment.

Hagrid took the Potters to a restaurant; perhaps... he was hungry.

Harry sat there silently, while Wu Mu occasionally checked on him.

"Brother, what's wrong?" Wu Mu placed his hands on the stool between his legs.

"What's wrong with you? Why aren't you saying anything?" Hagrid also noticed Harry's unusual behavior.

“The one who gave me the scar killed our parents, didn’t he?” Harry asked. “Hagrid, you must know.”

Hagrid sighed. “You need to understand something first, Harry, because it’s very important: not all wizards are good people. Some wizards turn bad. A few years ago… there was a wizard who was utterly wicked, his name was Voldemort…” Hagrid sighed again. “His name was Voldemort…”

"You should just write it down," Harry said, seeing that Hagrid couldn't bring himself to say it.

“No, I can’t write this word.” Hagrid seemed a little helpless. How could someone who guards the keys and watches over the beasts possibly write such complicated words? “Alright, Voldemort.” Hagrid’s voice was very soft.

"Voldemort?"

Harry's voice did not deliberately decrease like Hagrid's.

"Shh!" Hagrid seemed sensitive to the name.

“Those were terrible days, Harry, I love you.”

"Voldemort had gathered a bunch of henchmen and persuaded them to join the forces of darkness. All those who resisted him were killed. Your parents bravely fought against him, but no one he decided to kill could escape his clutches. There were no exceptions, except for the two of you," Hagrid explained the story of Voldemort.

"Us? Voldemort wants to kill us?"

“Hmm, the scar on your forehead and the scar on the right side of your neck are quite unusual, Harry.”

Wu Mu: "Is it unusual? I thought it was just a normal birthmark or something." I had forgotten about this scar. I should have made "notes" earlier to access my memories, at least... so I wouldn't say anything ridiculous.

"No, no, no, Wumu, only a curse can leave such a mark, and it was an evil curse."

"What happened to Navo...what happened to that person?" Harry seemed very interested in this topic.

"Well, some people say he's dead, but I think that's nonsense. No, I think he's still hiding somewhere, too weak to take action. But one thing is certain: you guys gave him a real thrashing that night, which is why you're so famous and everyone knows you. You're the only ones who survived."

Harry fell into deep thought.

Wu Mu: "..." As expected of me! I'm amazing! And my good brother too! Speaking of which, I hope Yi Long is alright after all these days...
