I thrived in the primitive tribe

As the first rays of sunlight shine into the tribe in the morning, a busy day begins. The Dragon Alliance tribe is now busy every day making pottery, producing jerky and smoked meat, hunting, and so on. Everyone has their own tasks and carries them out step by step.

Just when Lu Yao thought today would be the same as usual, the hunting team brought good news. During their hunt, they encountered a group of Humming Beasts, many of which were newborn cubs.

The remaining orcs, including the young and strong ones eager to prove their worth, were all fully prepared to join the hunting party in tracking down the Humming Beast herd. They hoped to bring the Humming Beasts back to their tribe, contributing to its development and doing their part.

Upon hearing the news, Lu Yao came out with everyone. At first, everyone disagreed with her coming, but Lu Yao did not give up easily. She found the Great Shaman who was mobilizing personnel and told her her idea.

She hoped the High Priest would allow her to go with them, as Lu Yao believed her knowledge might be helpful to the hunting team, enabling them to capture live Humming Beast cubs more safely and efficiently.

After careful consideration, the High Priestess decided to go with them. With her watching over Lu Yao, there shouldn't be any problems. However, Lu Yao rejected this decision. She felt it would be better for the High Priestess to stay in the tribe and direct everyone in building the fence. Otherwise, there would be nowhere to put the Humming Beast once they brought it back, which would be even worse.

After a quick conversation, Lu Yao left the tribe with the hunting team. The shaman instructed the hunting team to ensure Lu Yao's safety and to let her watch over the animals unless absolutely necessary, and to never let her fight with wild beasts.

The hunting party assured the High Priest that they would protect the divine messenger and ensure that nothing went wrong during the hunt.

After seeing off the hunting party, the high shaman gathered the remaining tribesmen to build a fence. The tribe now consisted mainly of tribesmen who couldn't transform into beast forms and some cubs who hadn't yet reached the differentiation stage. While they couldn't roam the wilderness and hunt like the beastmen, building a small animal pen was still manageable.

Under the guidance of the high shaman, the men, women, and children of the tribe worked together to cut down the tall, sturdy trees around them and carry them back to the tribe. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, shining on their sweat-drenched foreheads, gleaming with determination and hope.

After the first batch of trees was delivered to the tribe, a few people stayed behind to start building a fence. They picked up the stone hammers that had been made not long ago and drove the heavy wooden stakes into the ground.

These stone hammers were drawn by Lu Yao when she proposed building the animal enclosures, and then crafted by the tribespeople according to the design. Initially, the tribespeople were puzzled by the purpose of these novel tools, as they had never seen such shaped implements before.

After the first stone hammer was made, Lu Yao directed the tribespeople to demonstrate. It wasn't that she didn't want to demonstrate herself, but the hammer was simply too heavy for her to lift. The tribespeople demonstrating easily drove thick tree branches into the ground with the hammer, and their eyes lit up with amazement and sudden realization. Everyone in the tribe was busy in an orderly manner, waiting for the hunting team to return in triumph.
