Bai Mengmeng took the phone, glanced at it, and found the screen was so cracked it couldn't display anything. She hesitated for a moment, then asked, "Uncle Lu, what important information is on this? Why didn't you call a professional data recovery company?"

Uncle Lu sighed and said, "This information involves some of our family secrets. If it gets out, it could cause us a lot of trouble. I trust you won't leak this information, and I think you're more reliable than those data recovery companies."

Bai Mengmeng nodded in understanding. She thought for a moment and said, "Okay, Uncle Lu, I'll do my best to help you. However, restoring the phone data will take some time, and there's no guarantee that all the data can be recovered successfully."

Uncle Lu nodded gratefully and said, "Thank you, Mengmeng. It's enough to recover even a part of the information. I know this is a lot of trouble, but I'm really grateful for your help."

Bai Mengmeng smiled and said, "It's alright, Uncle Lu."

Uncle Lu patted Bai Mengmeng on the shoulder with emotion and said, "Mengmeng, you are such a good child. If you need any help in the future, just tell me."

Bai Mengmeng smiled and nodded, saying, "Thank you, Uncle Lu. I'll hand the phone over to the technical department now and let you know when we have a result."

Uncle Lu thanked her again and then turned and left Bai Mengmeng's office. Bai Mengmeng held her phone, lost in thought. She knew Uncle Lu had come to her for help because he must have encountered some difficult problem. She decided to arrange for technicians to repair the phone's data as soon as possible to see if they could provide Uncle Lu with any useful information.

Meanwhile, Luffy learned that his father had sought Bai Mengmeng's help. He secretly wondered what secret his father was hiding behind his father's urgent efforts to repair the phone data. He decided not to question his father for the time being, but instead wait for news from Bai Mengmeng. Bai Mengmeng didn't disturb Lu Ze, knowing he needed to focus on the project proposal for his collaboration with Liu Ting. Meanwhile, Li Ming harbored ill intentions and wanted to sabotage Lu Ze's plans. However, Luffy deliberately delayed and refused to meet him, preventing Li Ming from succeeding. Currently, Zhao Xu has not yet fully taken control of the Zhao family, and therefore can only rely on Luffy's support.

Li Ming and Zhao Xu somehow obtained tickets to the opening ceremony and decided to go to the venue to observe the situation firsthand. When they arrived, they ran into Lu Ze, who was in charge of reception. Although Lu Ze desperately wanted to kick the two out, he had no choice but to allow them in because they possessed legitimate tickets. However, he instructed his men to keep a close eye on the two men's every move to prevent them from causing trouble inside the venue.

Bai Mengmeng was still talking to others, but she was also watching everything from the sidelines, unable to shake off her worry for Li Ming and Zhao Xu. Fearing they might cause trouble, she decided to give up her front seat and sit between them.

When Li Ming and Zhao Xu saw Bai Mengmeng suddenly sit down between them, their eyes widened, and they asked in unison, "What are you doing sitting here?"

Bai Mengmeng replied without any politeness, "Don't you two know I'm right here?"

Li Ming and Zhao Xu exchanged a glance, both understanding each other's thoughts. They had originally planned to create chaos, at least to make the venue somewhat disorderly, which would be considered as achieving something. However, now, with Bai Mengmeng's obstruction and the heavily guarded bodyguards all around, they had no way to make a move.

The entire event proceeded very smoothly without any unexpected incidents. Bai Mengmeng watched with great interest, while Li Ming and Zhao Xu wore gloomy expressions, their faces growing increasingly grim.

Li Ming knew that if Lu Ze and Liu Ting achieved more success, he would appear even more incompetent. Now, Luffy was not entirely under his control, and he dared not frequently complain to the mysterious man, so he could only swallow his anger and silently endure it all.

Seeing them emerge looking disheveled and exhausted, Luffy couldn't help but burst out laughing: "Hahaha, you two are so useless!"

Upon hearing this, Zhao Xu immediately retorted, "If you hadn't refused to help, how could we have ended up like this? Would Lu Ze and Liu Ting be in this situation today?"

Luffy said with a disdainful look, "That's because you guys are incompetent, so you come to rely on me."

Knowing they were in the wrong, Li Ming and Zhao Xu had nothing to say and could only turn and leave.

After leaving the room, Li Ming and Zhao Xu were muttering curses at Luffy. Meanwhile, during the event, Lu Ze was standing on the stage when he noticed Bai Mengmeng sitting between Li Ming and Zhao Xu.

Luffy watched as Bai Mengmeng walked out of the venue, a smug expression on his face, as if waiting for her praise.

"How was that? I just gave them a good laugh, wasn't that amazing?" Luffy said to Bai Mengmeng with a smile.

Bai Mengmeng smiled slightly and praised, "You're really great! Keep up the good work next time!"

Upon hearing this, Luffy was filled with joy, as if he had received the most beautiful praise in the world. He secretly resolved to work even harder in the future, so that Bai Mengmeng would look at him with new eyes.

Seeing them chatting happily from afar, Lu Ze quickened his pace. "What are you two talking about? You're laughing so happily," Lu Ze asked curiously as he approached.

Bai Mengmeng quickly explained to Lu Ze, "We were just laughing at Li Ming and Zhao Xu!" Hearing this, Lu Ze felt relieved. Although Bai Mengmeng didn't like Luffy, Lu Ze still considered him a rival in love. So, Lu Ze pulled Bai Mengmeng away.

However, Bai Mengmeng tried to break free from Lu Ze's hand and asked anxiously, "Where are you taking me?" Lu Ze smiled and replied gently, "I'll take you home and then cook you a sumptuous meal."

Bai Mengmeng's face showed worry, fearing that Li Ming and Zhao Xu would see this scene. After all, Lu Ze's stance now seemed to favor the mysterious person. But Lu Ze didn't care about these things, simply smiling and reassuring Bai Mengmeng not to worry, and continued to pull her forward.
