"Since it's the commander's order, let's go."

Zhang Zhao shrugged nonchalantly, showing no surprise or unease about traveling to the future, as if he were simply going to the convenience store next door.

He has indeed gotten used to it.

"We believe you're a good person. Please give our regards to the commander for us."

Nangong Xinyi and the others looked at Zhang Zhao solemnly.

Instructed.

Among them, Lin Zhikai's expression was the most complicated, after all, if we're talking about it, Su Xiaoxiao was supposed to be his girlfriend.

This one is their comrade-in-arms.

"no problem."

Zhang Zhao smiled, then looked at Xu Zhancan, "Can we begin? How do we get there? Should I use the Weiqi?"

Xu Zhancan shook his head.

"I have a solution."

She stepped back a few paces from the crowd and came to an open space in the center of the martial arts school.

She took out the silver communicator again. This time, instead of communicating, she typed a series of complex commands into its smooth surface.

With a soft "hum", a pale blue energy beam shot out from the top of the communicator and accurately projected onto the open ground in front of the three people.

The beam of light touched the ground but did not dissipate; instead, it spread rapidly like a drop of ink falling into water.

A deep and ancient door appeared on the ground, with complex energy circuits flowing rapidly and emitting a deep and regular hum.

Time tunnel?

"Go!" Xu Zhancan shouted in a low voice, taking the lead in stepping into the dazzling light curtain.

Zhang Zhao turned around and waved to the crowd, then followed closely behind, stepping into the tunnel without hesitation.

Yatalis is still on him.

If things go wrong, he can switch to either the King of Catchers or the Asura at any time and then leave the time tunnel.

He has this ability.

This wondrous journey lasted for an unknown amount of time—perhaps a moment, or perhaps an eternity. When he felt solid ground beneath his feet again, all the light and shadow vanished instantly, and a completely different kind of air rushed into his nostrils.

At the moment his journey ended, Zhang Zhao deactivated his transformation.

It was an atmosphere mixed with rust, mold, engine oil, and... despair.

Zhang Zhao slowly opened his eyes, and the scene that came into view stirred even his usually calm heart.

They appeared to be in an abandoned underground railway system, surrounded by mottled, damp concrete walls, with thick pipes and exposed cables crisscrossing overhead like a spider web.

A few dim emergency lights flickered, casting a faint glow that barely dispelled the thick darkness. The ground beneath their feet was uneven and full of potholes, the dried-up railway tracks beside them were already rusted, and foul-smelling sewage was slowly flowing in the stinking ditch next to them.

It doesn't look like the future at all.

This situation is like stepping into a black coal mine in the last century.

This is one of humanity's last strongholds of resistance.

Xu Zhancan led him to the edge of a broken platform and looked up. Through the huge crack in the dome, they could see the true sky of this era.

It was a world completely dominated by steel and cold lights.

Looking into the distance, towering skyscrapers, beyond imagination, pierce the polluted clouds like silver swords.

These buildings are constructed entirely of an unknown silver-black alloy and glass, with a smooth, mirror-like surface devoid of any superfluous decoration. Only countless stripes shimmering with a deep blue light flow slowly across their surfaces, outlining their cold and majestic silhouettes.

It has a strong sense of technology.

Countless aircraft, like precisely programmed worker bees, shuttle between these mega-buildings. They are silent, their trajectories accurate to the millimeter, forming a well-ordered yet lifeless transportation network covering the entire city.

That is the city ruled by the super artificial intelligence "Zombie King".

It's hard to imagine that these two things could coexist.

It is efficient, perfect, and cold, bringing everything under its absolute control, and no longer needs humans.

In stark contrast is the "shadowy" place where Zhang Zhao and his group are located.

This is the remnant of the old era, the garbage dump of the new world.

It's hard to imagine that these two things could coexist.

People, dressed in tattered, patched clothes, huddled in twos and threes in makeshift shacks made of sheet metal and plastic sheeting.

Their faces were mostly sallow from long-term malnutrition, and their eyes were numb, as if life had worn away all their edges.

A mother held her thin child tightly in her arms, humming a long-lost lullaby softly, trying to soothe his faint cries of hunger.

Not far away, several men huddled around a fire made from a gasoline drum to keep warm, the firelight illuminating their silent and weary faces.

The entire shelter was deathly still. Only at the entrance and exit, the resistance fighters, dressed in makeshift armor and with wary eyes, brought a glimmer of life to this despairing place, a life called "resistance."

"Haven't they launched a counterattack yet? Isn't the Zombie King (Yama God) already gone?"

Seeing this scene, Zhang Zhao couldn't help but ask Xu Zhancan, who was standing to the side.

A look of helplessness appeared on Xu Zhancan's face.

"Even though the main brain has been lost, there is still a new super artificial intelligence, and the entire Federation can still function. After all, there is still an Executive Officer above the Zombie King. The Zombie King is a means, not a complete ruler."

"It's just that the zombies' actions have been somewhat affected during this period..."

Zhang Zhao only remembered this at this moment.

The worldview of the hunter seems to be incredibly vast...

In 2046, Dr. Su invented the Capture Armor and the super artificial intelligence Zombie King.

Afterwards, the Zombie King developed self-awareness, betrayed Dr. Su, and was subsequently taken over by the Federation.

In 2069, humanity has become highly intelligent. For the efficient operation and security of the federal region, all citizens must be managed by the supercomputer Zombie King by having "management information codes" implanted in their brains.

Under such efficient management.

The people of the Union can live a prosperous life, but the only price is the loss of their freedom...

Is the story of the Capture General about the Zombie King, at the urging of the Infernal Demon, going to 2016 to capture human sensory information and become the true administrator of the future world federation?

……

Due to the existence of the three fundamental laws of supercomputers, although Zombie King is nominally the administrator of the Future World Federation, he is subject to the constraints of the administrator and can be unloaded through the executive meeting.

There are three fundamental laws governing supercomputers, which must be followed: First, they must obey the instructions of administrators; second, they must ensure their own safety and execute according to the set program; and third, the instructions of the supercomputer must be changed by the administrator.

……

Because managers must possess human sensory information codes, but future humans will all lack these sensory information codes.

And so the story of the capturer began.

"Alright then, let's hurry up and see the commander. If possible, I can lend a hand."

Zhang Zhao didn't say much, he just followed Xu Zhancan.

P.S.: LOL!

I only realized today that my timeline for the movie "The King of Catchers" has been wrong all along. In the movie, the future timeline seems to be 2069, but I've been writing 2072. It's been almost a year since I first wrote the plot of "The King of Catchers," and I only realized it when I went back to look at it. I've gotten so used to writing 2072.

I won't change it.

Just be wrong.

Perhaps when I first wrote it, I thought the movie's plot was set after the TV series, so I naturally added three years (actually, it's only a year different). It went from 2069 to 2072 (or maybe I just wrote too much about 2712?).

Because the directors of "The King of Catchers" and "The General of Catchers" are different, there are many elements of left and right brain conflict. For example, the concept of the Federation has completely disappeared, and the Zombie King has ruled the world.

Given that the character design and plot of the King of Catchers are completely awful.

I'm using the TV series' background here, and I'm moving the timeline of "The King of Catchers" forward by three years.

Because the ending of "The Capture of the Generals" left many things unsaid.

This way, I can have some room to maneuver.

On a side note, from the creator's perspective, the script for "The Captor" was quite good, and the world-building was excellent, but it just wasn't adapted into a film. Its complexity and mysteries were much more intricate than those of "Xingtian," but the final product was a complete mess.

It's a pity, isn't it?

I haven't seen it.
