Meeting you in autumn

After Guan Qing walked in, Guan Qing's eyes were firm, as if he was about to face something. He took a deep breath and then opened the door.

Guan Hai, who had been standing outside the door for a long time, was already impatient. When the tightly closed door finally opened slowly, he immediately glared fiercely at the person inside and roared through gritted teeth.

"Where the hell have you been? It's taken you so long to open the door! Were you deliberately making me wait?"

As he spoke, he lifted his foot to step into the house.

However, at that moment, Guan Qing, who had been hiding behind the door, suddenly pushed Guan Hai out with all his might, then quickly walked out of the room and slammed the door shut without hesitation.

The loud noise seemed to proclaim her extreme dissatisfaction and resistance towards Guan Hai.

Guan Hai was caught off guard by the sudden push and, after regaining his footing, an angry look immediately appeared on his face.

He raised his hand, as if to slap Guan Qing hard, while cursing, "You little bitch, how dare you push me! You've really got some nerve! I'll teach you a lesson today, I'll beat you until you're begging for mercy on your knees!"

Faced with Guan Hai's threat, Guan Qing did not back down. He simply stared at him quietly, his eyes firm and fearless, and coldly replied, "Go ahead and hit me if you dare! There are people everywhere here. As long as you're not afraid of being arrested by the police like last time, go ahead and try!"

Upon hearing this, Guan Hai was taken aback. He instantly recalled the scene when he was taken away by the police for assaulting someone, and a sense of apprehension arose in his heart.

But he was unwilling to show weakness in front of Guan Qing, so he still pretended to be fierce and shouted: "Don't think that scaring me with the police will work, I won't fall for that!"

Looking at his blustering yet cowardly appearance, Guan Qing felt a surge of disgust and said impatiently, "Stop talking nonsense! Let's go downstairs and talk about it!"

After saying that, she turned and walked towards the stairs without looking back, giving Guan Hai no chance to respond.

Guan Hai stared at the tightly closed door in front of him, his face turning ashen with anger, and he couldn't help but utter a vulgar curse.

Then, as if he was still not satisfied, he kicked the door hard, and with a loud "bang", the whole corridor seemed to tremble slightly.

Downstairs, the two slowly walked out of the community gate and came to the roadside.

He glared fiercely at Guan Qing, gritting his teeth as he said, "Fine, since you won't give me the money, then I'll go ask your mother for it!" With that, he made a move to turn around and walk back the way he came.

Seeing this, Guan Qing became anxious and quickly reached out to grab Guan Hai's arm, pulling him forcefully to the side.

At the same time, her face was full of anger, and she roared fiercely, "Don't you dare touch my mother! Otherwise, I will never let you get away with this!"

However, Guan Hai, who had been pulled aside, had completely lost his mind, his eyes bloodshot and filled with rage.

He cursed viciously, "You little bastard, how dare you grab your father! Today I'll teach you a lesson you won't forget!"

Before he could finish speaking, he raised his hand and slapped Guan Qing hard across the face, cursing, "Just like your vile mother!"

Immediately afterwards, Guan Hai raised his hand again, preparing to beat Guan Qing once more.

Just at this critical moment, a dark shadow suddenly flashed by, and with a muffled "bang," Guan Hai was kicked several meters away by a tremendous force, like a kite with a broken string.

Chen Feng walked up to him quietly, then kicked him a few more times. Finally, Chen Feng stopped when he begged for mercy.

He bent down and slapped him hard, saying in a gloomy tone, "Remember, Guan Qing is my woman. If you dare to cause her any more trouble, I will not let you off the hook."

Guan Hai nodded quickly and said, "I understand, I won't dare to do it again."

"Get out!!" Chen Feng stood up and roared forcefully. Seeing this, Guan Hai quickly got up and left.

Guan Qing stared in disbelief at the scene unfolding before him, a ripple of emotion stirring within him.

She could hardly believe her ears; she had actually heard him say, "She's mine!"

Such words were like murmurs from a distant dream to her, beautiful fantasies that she had never dared to hope could come true.

At this moment, Chen Feng walked slowly and steadily to Guan Qing.

When his gaze fell upon the clearly visible bright red handprint on Guan Qing's cheek, his brows furrowed slightly involuntarily, and his originally gentle eyes instantly turned concerned.

He lowered his voice and asked cautiously, "Are you alright?"

Guan Qing bit her lip tightly, desperately trying to hold back the tears welling up in her eyes.

She took a deep breath and tried to make her voice sound calm: "Thank you, I'm fine."

However, despite her best efforts to conceal it, her slightly trembling voice betrayed her true feelings.

Chen Feng gazed at Guan Qing, a barely perceptible look of tenderness flashing in his eyes.

Then, as if remembering the guy who had just hit you, his face darkened, and he asked angrily, "Who was that guy? How dare he lay a hand on you?"

Guan Qing's expression instantly turned cold and distant. She replied expressionlessly, "He is my father, who is related to me by blood."

Upon hearing this answer, Chen Feng was clearly stunned; he obviously hadn't expected this outcome.

After a brief silence, he came to his senses and said earnestly to Guan Qing, "Is there anything I can do for you?"

Guan Qing shook his head slightly, forcing a smile at the corners of his mouth.

She knew she already owed Chen Feng too many favors, and if she troubled him again, she really didn't know how she could repay this kindness.

So she said, feigning strength, "No need, thank you. I can handle this myself."

Chen Feng looked at Guan Qing quietly for a moment, and seeing her resolute attitude, he stopped insisting.

He nodded in understanding, then, as if suddenly remembering something important, said, "I came here today specifically to visit you and Auntie. Let's go upstairs first."

Upon hearing this, Guan Qing's body stiffened abruptly, as if he had been frozen in place.

She stood there blankly, her mind a complete blank. After a long while, she snapped out of her daze and stammered, "Um... okay."

After saying that, she silently followed Chen Feng upstairs.
