Meeting you in autumn

By the time the group finally finished their meal, the sun had already set and night was falling. Before they knew it, it was already evening.

The dim streetlights cast a soft glow, illuminating the roads in the neighborhood and casting two long, slender shadows on the ground.

Jing Yi stared intently at Guan Yu before him, his face filled with a reluctance to part, and slowly said, "Then...then I'll leave?"

His voice trembled slightly with hesitation, as if every word was being squeezed out with great difficulty from the bottom of his heart.

Guan Yu looked at Jing Yi and gave a helpless chuckle. The two of them stood there quietly, staring at each other, for a full half hour.

Then, he turned around and walked away with firm steps.

Only after Jing Yi's figure completely disappeared from sight did Guan Yu slowly turn around and walk slowly towards home.

But after taking only a few steps, a slight noise suddenly came from behind, startling Guan Yu.

She hurriedly patted her chest, trying to calm her wildly beating heart, and couldn't help but complain, "Shen Chen, what were you doing sneaking around like that behind me?! You scared me to death!"

The next morning, sunlight streamed through the windows into the quaint courtyard of the Shen family. Birds sang merrily, as if welcoming the arrival of a new day.

Shen Jia stormed up the stairs, her footsteps like muffled thunder, shattering the peaceful atmosphere.

She went straight to the door of the room in the middle, pushed it open without hesitation, and quickly went inside.

Upon entering the room, Shen Jia immediately saw Chen Fang fast asleep on the bed.
