Meeting you in autumn

Chapter 28 Frame-up (1)

Back in her room, Guan Yu picked up her phone again and sent a message to her brother without thinking.

"Brother, I know I was wrong."

"Brother, don't be angry. I won't run away again."

Goodnight, brother.

After sending the message, Guan Yu lay down on the soft bed, turned over, and soon fell into a deep sleep...

The next morning, the two of them went downstairs with their schoolbags on their backs and saw Jing Yi waiting for them. Guan Yu rushed over quickly, hugged him, and whispered, "Ah Yi, why are you here so early?"

"I want to see you," Jing Yi said with a doting expression, smoothing her hair which was disheveled from running.

When the two were getting tired of each other, Feng Ming also walked up to the two of them, and said to Jing Yi: "Jing Yi, you kid, if you dare to take her away next time, be careful, I will beat you up." After saying that, he pulled Guan Yu forward without any explanation. Guan Yu was forced to separate from Jing Yi and glared at him angrily.

Jing Yi listened to his words without getting annoyed. He knew that Feng Ming was concerned about Guan Yu, so he smiled helplessly and quickly followed.

As soon as the three stepped into the classroom, Chen Fang rushed up to them and asked anxiously, "Yi-ge, have you finished your math test? Can I copy it?"

Upon hearing Chen Fang mention the math test, he pretended to think for a moment, then said indifferently, "No."

Helpless, Chen Fang looked at Guan Yu, who shook his head with a smile, his eyes filled with disappointment, before finally looking at Feng Ming with a glimmer of hope.

Feng Ming shrugged, indicating that he hadn't written anything either. At this point, he was truly desperate, so he simply stopped writing and thought to himself, "Anyway, I'm not the only one who isn't writing, so what am I worried about?" He then returned to his original position.

"Hanhan, have you seen one of my boxes?" Li Yi, sitting in the back row, asked her deskmate Zhang Han in confusion as she searched for something that was missing.

Zhang Han also looked puzzled and asked, "What box?"

"It's the necklace I bought at Xiang Ling'er's shop the other day, but it seems to be missing."

"What? It's gone? Could it have been stolen?" Coincidentally, everyone around them heard this and turned to look at the two of them.

Seeing that she had achieved her goal, Li Yi pretended to be indifferent and said hypocritically, "Hanhan, it's okay, it's alright since you stole it."

At this moment, Zhang Han instantly lost her composure and said angrily, "That's a necklace worth 6 yuan!"

She still felt indignant for Zhang Han and shouted at the class, "Who stole Li Yi's necklace?"

Some of the students in the class were angry when they heard what she said.

"Who would take her necklace? Are you crazy?"

"Exactly, exactly! How can you slander someone like that?"

"We're all classmates, there's no need to make a scene like this."

………… ...

Seeing the situation gradually getting out of control, Li Yi quickly reached out and gently tugged at the sleeve of the girl next to her, while shaking her head slightly to signal her to stop talking.

However, Zhang Han remained unmoved. Instead, she turned to Li Yi and said indignantly, "Li Yi, you're just too gentle, that's why you get bullied." As she spoke, she gave Li Yi a reassuring look.

Immediately afterward, Zhang Han turned his gaze back to the crowd, his eyes sharp as knives, his voice carrying an aggressive tone as he loudly questioned, "What? Do you all really have something to hide? Dare to investigate?"

Upon hearing this, the previously noisy classroom fell silent. But after only a moment, someone couldn't contain their anger: "We didn't steal anything, so what? Go ahead and search."

So, one by one, the students angrily took everything out of the desk, wishing they could turn the entire desk upside down so that Zhang Han wouldn't find any clues.

Standing to the side, Li Yi watched this scene quietly, a faint smile appearing on her lips.

Time passed by, and everyone's desks had been turned upside down, but Zhang Han still couldn't find anything.

Just as she was filled with disappointment and about to slump down, she suddenly caught a glimpse of Guan Yu and several other people sitting quietly in their seats not far away, heads down, diligently writing their homework, without any intention of getting up to look for it.

So, under everyone's watchful eyes, she walked up to Guan Yu, lightly tugged at the table, and upon hearing the sound, the others looked at her. Guan Yu, looking puzzled, asked, "Classmate, is something wrong?"

Zhang Han's face was somewhat gloomy. He growled, "Li Yi's valuables are missing. I suspect someone from our class stole them, but everyone in the class has searched the place thoroughly and found nothing. Yet you guys didn't take any action. I don't quite understand this, do I?"

After hearing what she said, the men involuntarily frowned slightly.
