Meeting you in autumn

Chapter 15 Injured

"Brother Yi, did he really go home?" Chen Fang asked uncertainly.

"Of course, why would I lie to you?"

After confirming that Jing Yi had indeed returned home, Chen Feng and Chen Fang looked at each other with grave expressions.

"Let's go, Xiaoyu, we're going back with Brother Fengming today," Fengming joked.

"Okay, bye then." Guan Yu waved to the others, turned around and followed Feng Ming out.

"Shen Jia, let's go. Stop dawdling," Chen Fang said with a look of disdain as he looked at Shen Jia, who was still playing on her phone.

"If you can't wait, just go back. I didn't ask you to wait," Shen Jia retorted impatiently when she heard Chen Fang's words while typing on her phone.

“Okay, my mom said she’s making braised chicken wings tonight.” Chen Fang used his trump card.

"Then let's go quickly, what are you waiting for, hurry up!" Upon hearing about the braised chicken wings, Shen Jia eagerly grabbed his hand, wanting to leave quickly.

"Oh, right, Guan Qing, we'll be going now," Shen Jia suddenly remembered something and turned to say to Guan Qing behind her.

Seeing her rambling on and on, Chen Fang simply grabbed her and quickly disappeared from the classroom.

The Chen and Shen families are old friends and live opposite each other, so they always walk home together after school.

After the two left, Guan Qing realized that everyone in the classroom had left, leaving only her and Chen Feng.

An awkward atmosphere filled the air, and the surrounding environment became so quiet that everyone could hear each other's heartbeats.

"Guan Qing, where are you living now? Is it the same place as before?" Chen Feng broke the awkward silence first, scratching his head and asking somewhat unnaturally.

"Yes, it's the same one as before," Guan Qing replied shyly, head down, in a low voice.

"Then I'll take you home; it's not safe for you to go alone."

"Oh? No, no need."

"It's okay, let's go," Chen Feng said, taking the schoolbag from her hand and walking straight out without waiting for her reaction.

Guan Qing stared at Chen Feng's figure, momentarily dazed, and then followed after him.

The fact that Chen Feng would take her home was something she never dared to dream of; she thought it might be a blessing from fate.

Jing Yi hurriedly left the school gate and saw the eye-catching Rolls-Royce in the crowd. He walked straight over, opened the car door, and got in.

"Young Master, are we going straight to the old house?" Uncle Fang asked cautiously, a hint of worry in his eyes.

Because he knew that every time the young master went to the old house, he would come back covered in bruises.

Inside the car, Jing Yi slowly leaned back in her seat, closed her eyes, and looked deeply tired, letting out a lazy "hmm".

Seeing Jing Yi's condition, Uncle Fang felt a surge of pity and compassion. So he silently started the car and drove towards the old house...

Thirty minutes later, the car slowly stopped in front of the old house. Jing Yi slowly opened her eyes, opened the car door, and walked out.

"Young Master..." Uncle Fang called out with some concern.

"Uncle Fang, it's alright, don't worry." He knew Uncle Fang was worried about him, and he gave him a reassuring look, so he strode inside.

Uncle Fang watched his retreating figure, tears streaming down his face. He couldn't help but sigh, "What a tragedy! To have such a father! When Madam was still alive, the young master never suffered such injustice. Madam, please bless the young master with peace and safety."

With two loud "bangs," Jing Yi, who had just reached the door, was hit on the forehead by a teacup thrown by someone in the living room. The teacup then fell to the ground, making a crisp cracking sound.

The people in the living room covered their faces, clearly shocked by the sudden turn of events, and looked incredulously at the person who threw the teacup.

"Second brother, what are you doing?" Jing Ming asked angrily, his face grave.

"Ha, ask him yourself what he really wants to do!" Jing Sheng roared.

Blood gushed from the forehead struck by the teacup, but Jing Yi felt no pain, letting the blood flow down his face. Then, in a low, cold voice, he sneered, "Heh, you called me back just for this? What a waste."

"What did you say? Useless? I'm your father!!" Jing Sheng glared at Jing Yi and cursed.
