To make matters worse, the shoe rack by the door had been overturned at some point, and the shoes were scattered in every corner like leaves blown down by the wind.

The most striking thing was the broken vase scattered all over the ground; the crystal-clear shards shimmered with a heartbreaking light under the sunlight.

The entire living room looked like a complete mess, a truly appalling sight. Anyone who didn't know better would have thought a thief had broken in!

Shen Jia stood there blankly, her mind a complete blank. No matter how hard she tried to recall, she couldn't piece together any fragments of last night's memories.

"What on earth is going on?" Shen Jia muttered to herself, her brows furrowed tightly, her face full of doubt and unease.

She couldn't understand why, when she woke up, the once neat and clean living room had become so messy, as if it had been swept by a storm.

Just as she was lost in thought, several servants quietly entered, carrying cleaning tools, ready to begin cleaning up the mess.

One of the servants, with sharp eyes, spotted Shen Jia standing there in a daze and quickly bowed respectfully, saying, "Greetings, Miss Shen!"

Shen Jia suddenly came to her senses and, as if grasping at a lifeline, quickly reached out and grabbed the servant.

Then, he pressed on urgently, "Tell me quickly, what exactly happened here last night? Why is the living room like this?"

Her voice trembled slightly with nervousness, and her eyes were filled with anticipation and anxiety.

The servant looked at Shen Jia with a wicked grin and said, "Miss Shen, don't you remember?"

With a loud bang, the door slammed shut, shutting out the noise and disturbances from the outside world.

Shen Jia collapsed onto the bed like a deflated balloon, then began to roll around incessantly.

And so, the two walked side by side toward the stairs.
