They do not identify with the people of the earth on a spiritual level, and they also want to complete this self-reflection on their own desires, or rather, complete this kind of religious self-punishment, so that at an appropriate time, they can return to their homeland with a completely new mindset and build a completely new Laputa.

Countless birds were startled by the explosion and scattered in all directions. Balu and Shida's expressions changed, and Liu Yufei, who had been smiling, also became serious.
