During the promotion period of each new song, Chinese idols perform their latest songs on music programs. This practice of promoting their new works through stage performances is called "playing the song," because it is essentially a competition of the new song's popularity and ranking, which can also increase the popularity of the new work and achieve rapid promotion.

The four most important music show programs in China are "New Music Festival" on Mondays, "Music Notes" on Wednesdays, "Music Online" music charts on Fridays, and "New Song Express" on Sundays. Music show performances in China can last up to two weeks, and new groups from major record labels typically perform for the full two weeks.

These music shows evaluate songs released during their promotional period based on several factors, including YouTube views, judges' scores, sales, and digital downloads. Each song is then ranked, and the song in first place receives a trophy. For idols, receiving such a trophy represents honor, achievement, and affirmation of their current popularity.

Each music show also has different scoring methods.

For example, "New Song Gathering" not only features idols but also many other singers. There are certain requirements for participating idols; their albums need to achieve a score of 5 or higher on the Jingyan rating platform to be eligible to participate. This program allows you to see many singers. If it's a good song, it can be a breakthrough for an idol, allowing them to be heard by seasoned fans and enhancing their reputation.

The offline voting for "Music Notes" has a higher weighting in sales figures, making it the most effective and representative program for fan voting. The top spot is usually taken by a popular idol group.

"Music Online" places greater emphasis on online music streaming performance, with nearly 60% of its performance based on online streaming data. Compared to the three programs that only consider data from Shuigua Music, currently the largest music streaming platform in China, this program includes data from many more online platforms, such as Whale Music and Luobo Music.

"The New Voice Chart" has internal judges who score the songs, giving a significant weight to the new group's score. It doesn't award prizes to songs that weren't performed on the show, and many established singers and top groups forgo this opportunity, making it a very friendly platform for both debuting groups and new artists. "The New Voice Chart" is also where Luo Xi and his group have the best chance of winning first place.

Because the schedule for music shows is fixed, and idols or singers often go to work at the buildings of various music programs in Haicheng, many fans come to wait for their idols to arrive. The road from where the idols get off the bus to the building is also known as the "work route," and many photos are taken here.

It was very cold. After getting out of the car, Luo Xi and his team saw fans standing on both sides of the road in the cold wind. They immediately told the staff from Mexico and Japan who had arrived that they should distribute the hand warmers they had prepared.

Reverse support is very popular now, so it's not just them, many groups are releasing things like this.

Luo Xi and his friends waved and greeted the fans.

Despite the negative press surrounding Luo Xi, her fans remained unfazed. Despite the numerous flashes of light, she saw many people still taking pictures of her, so she smiled and waved to them in her best condition.

She even heard fans shouting "Luo Enxi" loudly, so she happily looked over and saw that they had taken a lot of photos.

Although Luo Xi wanted to stay a little longer, the road was so short that the five of them quickly entered the building.

It's 6 a.m. now, and they have a lot to do, including pre-recording, on-site recording, and several rehearsals. Because there are so many people, the list of participants includes more than twenty groups and three singers.
