Mo Ze and Shen Nian had just left the Shen Group when Shen Ximan and Lu Jiao caught up with them.

The two were having afternoon tea in the coffee shop on the first floor of Shen's building when they heard people talking about what happened in the meeting room. So they went to find Shen Guoqiang to verify the information.

When the two finally found her in Shen Guoqiang's office, Shen Ximan's first words were, "Dad, did Shen Nian really marry the president of JK Group?"

Shen Guoqiang looked up at the two people and said, "President Mo of JK Group said it himself, how could it be false!"

A ruthless glint flashed in Shen Ximan's eyes. Although she had been mentally prepared, she was still incredibly jealous when she received the definite news.

Why is Shen Nian so lucky? She was just dumped by Chu Yunyi, and she immediately married the president of JK Group. She was so unwilling to accept it!

She decided to risk going to find Chen Tao herself.

After leaving the Shen Group, Mo Ze led Shen Nian to his car and took her back to his apartment.

After entering, Shen Nian suddenly called out to Mo Ze, "Uncle~"

Mo Ze bent down to take out her shoes, then stood up and looked at her. "What's wrong? I'll hand the agreement over to JK Group's lawyers tomorrow, so you don't need to worry about it." He thought Shen Nian was worried about this, so he explained it to her.

Unexpectedly, Shen Nian suddenly bowed deeply to him and said solemnly, "Uncle, thank you."

Shen Nian turned around abruptly upon hearing the sound, and seeing Mo Ze's face that made her heart race, she quickly lowered her head again.

He stammered, "Okay, let's go."

She suddenly remembered a private restaurant tucked away in an alley that her mother had taken her to before; the food was delicious, so she decided to take Moze there for dinner.

After getting in the car, Mo Ze asked with a smile, "Have you decided what to eat?"

"Yes, I've thought it through." Shen Nian nodded and gave the address to Mo Ze.

The private restaurant was some distance from Moze's apartment; it took about an hour to drive there.

When they got off the bus, Shen Nian was clearly excited and took Mo Ze's hand, leading him into the alley.

Mo Ze looked at the hand that was being held by that slender little hand behind her, and couldn't suppress the upturn of his lips.

"Uncle, don't let the small size and somewhat out-of-the-way location of this shop fool you. Their dishes are authentic Jiangcheng cuisine, and they taste great. I've eaten here with my mom before, especially the braised pork, it's so fragrant..." Shen Nian kept babbling on and on, making Mo Ze feel happy and very much looking forward to this dinner.

The shop is indeed small; you can see the whole place as soon as you walk in. There are only seven or eight tables. The owners are a middle-aged couple. Shen Nian led Mo Ze inside, and luckily, there was still one table available. She exclaimed that they were very lucky, otherwise they would have had to wait in line.

As soon as the two entered, the proprietress warmly greeted them and handed them a traditional menu.

After dinner, Shen Nian prepared to return to school, and Mo Ze drove her to University A.

As she got out of the car, Shen Nian thanked him again, "Uncle, thank you. I'll transfer half of the shares to you once I get them."

Mo Ze raised an eyebrow. "There's no rush."

Shen Nian thought it made sense. The shares of the Shen Group weren't worth much now, so she decided to wait until this storm passed before making any decisions. She nodded and said, "Okay. Well then... take care, Uncle."

Moze responded softly, "Mm."

Shen Nian turned and walked towards the dormitory building with some reluctance. After taking two steps, she suddenly turned around and ran back to Mo Ze. Before Mo Ze could react, she tiptoed and quickly placed a soft kiss on Mo Ze's cheek, then ran away without looking back.

The whole process took less than a minute. Mo Ze didn't come to his senses until Shen Nian's figure disappeared at the dormitory gate.

He raised his hand and gently touched the cheek that Shen Nian had just kissed, then suddenly grinned.
