The Shen family arrived as promised.

From picking someone up from the airport to booking a restaurant and arranging a meal, Shen Feiwan did everything herself, without showing any negativity or pessimism throughout.

For three consecutive days, she accompanied her family to various places in the southern part of the city to visit and enjoy local delicacies. The group had a great time.

Shen Mo and Gu Mingxi are about to embark on a new journey.

The couple cooked dinner themselves. Shen Feiwan and the others originally offered to help in the kitchen, but Shen Mo refused, saying that the kitchen was too small.

Shen Feiwan watched her parents busy in the kitchen and decided not to go in and disturb them.

Turning around to talk to Chen Youen, Shen Feiwan saw that Chen Youen was holding her phone and sharing something with Shen Xubai. The two were very close together, engrossed in their conversation. Shen Feiwan quietly stepped back, not wanting to disturb them.

After dinner, Shen Mo pulled Shen Feiwan and Shen Xubai to sit down and began to give them detailed instructions, "Your mother and I are planning to go to Blue City next, and we bought high-speed rail tickets for tomorrow afternoon. You siblings don't usually live in the same place, and you're all busy with your own things, so you must remember to take good care of yourselves, eat on time, don't stay up late, and wear more clothes when it gets cold. No matter how busy you are with work, you must take care of your health..."

Their rambling words were filled with the concerns of parents.

Shen Feiwan interrupted him with a smile, "Dad, we're not children anymore, we understand these things. Don't rush your trip to Blue City with Mom, the most important thing is to enjoy the journey."

After saying that, she turned to Shen Xubai and asked, "By the way, brother, what are your plans for the future?"

"Back to the research institute, my vacation should be over."

"Will the research institute compensate you for what happened last time?"

“Yes,” Shen Xubai nodded, “We’ve already communicated with them.”

Shen Feiwan's expression darkened slightly as she instructed, "After returning to Beicheng, do not have any further dealings with Lin Xiaoyan."

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. We're not on the same path, and there's no need for us to get involved anymore."

Shen Feiwan nodded, then turned to Chen Youen, "And you? What are your plans next?"

"Me?" Chen You'en's eyes darted around, and she glanced at Shen Xubai subconsciously before stammering, "I don't know yet. I've always been free, I can go wherever I want."

At this point, she seemed to suddenly realize something and looked sharply at Shen Feiwan, "Wait a minute, why does it feel like you're giving instructions? What are you planning to do?"

Shen Feiwan nodded solemnly, "Yes, I plan to go find Bo Junxing."

The dining table fell silent instantly.

Apart from Chen Youen, everyone else looked confused. They only knew that Shen Feiwan and Bo Junxing had gotten back together, but they didn't know that Bo Junxing was in trouble.

"What does this mean, Wanwan?" Shen Mo frowned. "Didn't you say on the phone that he was away on a business trip? Why is he here now..."

His gaze lingered on his daughter's grave expression. "Has something happened?"

Shen Feiwan nodded and briefly told her family about Bo Junxing's predicament of being trapped abroad.

Gu Mingxi said worriedly, "But he's barely able to take care of himself right now, and we don't know when he'll be back. You said you'd go to find him, but how long would that take? He's under constant surveillance, do you really want to live that kind of life? Have you thought all this through?"

“Mom,” Shen Feiwan waited patiently for her mother to finish speaking, her tone calm but firm, “I’ve thought it all through. Actually, what I’m about to do is nothing compared to him.”

"Most importantly, this is something I did willingly, and it's how I feel about him."
